I purchased a gas valve from North America HVAC on 11/15/15, via Amazon.com. A Honeywell valve is pictured clearly in this listing. A White-Rodgers valve was sent instead. Since a little old lady was without heat, I installed it rather than quibble over the manufacturer. This gas valve was installed on my mom's furnace Thanksgiving night, 11/24/15. By the way, I'm a graduate of our local technical college's HVAC/Refrigeration program. North America HVAC pulled the "licensed technician" stuff with me too. On 3/3/16, this gas valve ceased to function. After contacting North America HVAC, I was told that the 90 day return window had passed, and there was nothing they would be willing to do. Now there's a little old lady on a fixed income who doesn't have any heat, thanks to this unscrupulous bunch known as North America HVAC. Thankfully, Amazon customer service is making things right. Thanks, Amazon! And KISS MY GRITS to North America HVAC. You people at North America HVAC should be ashamed of yourselves masquerading as a reputable vendor, when you obviously wouldn't know an industry standard if it smacked you upside the head. Take it from me (and the countless other folks who've posted here) and go somewhere else and avoid the grief. 2 satisfied customers out of all these reviews... the odds aren't in your favor.
