I placed an order 10 days ago. All items were ready to ship, but it said they'd ship in 2-4 days. It's been 10 days and my order still hasn't shipped. I need my items for an event. Customer service will not let me cancel the order.
I'm a longtime Nordstrom Rack customer and have not had any issues in the past, but this is ridiculous. And because other customers who are having similar issues, Nordstrom better figure out a solution fast and do something to make this up to their customers if they want to keep us coming back.
I ordered a pair of shoes and necklaces which were poor quality and overpriced.
They won't refund my money until I initiated a dispute with my credit card company.
I will never order anything online from them.
Hi everyone. I just wanted to share my experience with Nordstrom Rack. I bought some running shoes and 30 days after the 90 day return time I find damage on the shoes. Both shoes --- went to store and was told if they helped me, they would have to help everyone with a damaged item. Talked to store manager, talked to a supervisor of customer service, no help with damaged items. Good luck.
I order a coat it takes forever for shipping. I received the item. It was the wrong size and brand. I order again they have great deals. Now says my package is delivered look up tracking number UPS says not today maybe tomorrow. I'm done with Nordstrom R A C K
I purchased shoes on April 12 and two weeks later have yet to receive them. The shoes were shipped via FedEx and initially showed delayed. FedEx reps have stated that Nordstrom Rack should file a claim, however, this has been met with resistance from NR. It matters not whose fault it is, especially after two weeks. This needs resolution and this is totally unacceptable handling of this issue, file the claim.
As someone who wears a size 4 shoe, Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack are my go to but this has left me baffled, and hesitant to purchase from them for a while.
In the last 3 months, I've had about 10+ orders cancelled due to inventory issues but that's only part of the problem. Each and every one of those cancelled orders, I did not get the proper refund hence, I had to contact Customer Care a lot to get these rectified. That is time wasted. Not to mention having to wait days for my $ to be refunded. It is a bit odd that it's taking months for NR to fix a "system glitch". This is very frustrating and have caused so much inconvenience to the point that I will no longer shop online here. I keep hoping my next order will go smoothly but I've given up after 10+ cancelled orders and inaccurate refunds. I've voiced out my feedback and concerns to Customer Care but most of them do not care. This very aggravating and disappointing.
First and last time I am buying something from Nordstrom Rack. I made an online order of an UGG Australia Boot and after a week they send me an email saying they don't have the product anymore. Really? I could have bought it somewhere else. Very disappointed. Bad experience.
Now I will have to figure out something else for my daughter's birthday gift.
Don't let the name fool you. I bought a dress cause it looked cute (on the model) took over 2 weeks to arrive. I tried it on, i'm 5 feet 5 inches, and weight 115 pounds. This cute dress on line was not only cheaply made it looked cheap on. Not sleazy cheap but crap material etc. I can't speak for the other clothes they sell, as I will never purchase again. Went straight in the donation bag. Didn't bother to return considering the amount of time it took to arrive.
It's a cheap parlor trick. "Only $19.99 for a pair of shoes + $7.95 s&h." BUT if the shoes don't fit for some reason, they will charge you $5.95 for return shipping AND less tax on the return. I bought a $35 pair of shoes and it cost me $15 total in shipping charges. THIS is how they make money. Their business model is literally built on s&h like "as seen on TV". Save your time and money and shop at DSW.
I have been a fan of Nordstrom for 30 years, since I visited my first one in San Francisco.
I have a Nordstrom card and use it regularly for the points. But mainly I shop at Nordstrom Rack. I find great deals and have never had trouble with returns or anything. I was surprised to read they had a middling average. I was there today, returning some pants I bought online and bought my daughter some cheap, cute boots.
It's my go-to place for serendipitous finds and deeply reduced from retail buys.
My package was said to be delivered on Saturday 7/31. Immediately after I got the notification, I went to my mailbox and there was nothing there.
I've been trying to contact their cs and of course no answer.
The worst company ever to buy from!

Place an order online and only received an email saying "sorry we're behind the schedule". No updates since then. No refund of payment either. After some time when I called them, they said they upgraded their system so the order information couldn't be found! This is the way they make money out of nothing. Be aware!
Ordered bright-colored Brooks Women's Running Shoes and received Grey/White Brooks. Now, they're out of stock in my size and they can't do anything about it... annoyed with having to return and shop for a different shoe now.
Placed an order 11 days ago because it said all items would ship within 4 days, giving me plenty of time to receive them by my special event this weekend. However, I've yet to receive a shipping confirmation, & my multiple calls with customer service have been unable to give me an estimated shipping date. I have no idea when my order will arrive & no way of narrowing down a time frame. Ridiculous.
I've ordered online from this site a couple times and never had to really return anything. So this last time for back to school shopping for my daughter, I find a store in another city and made my return. Only warning I have was it takes about 3 business days to get your money back to to your debit card, so your in trouble If you need it instantly... no cash back either. Other than that I have nothing negative to say about nordstrom rack in store or online I will continue to shop there
Nordstrom's rack has changed their website and I can't see my orders or tracking information. After calling customer service and waiting 20 minutes for someone from God knows where had no idea what I was talking about. Then miraculously she told me they are working on it and should be resolved tonight. I placed two orders before the new site went live and when I check orders they aren't there and when I click the link to my orders in my email it just goes to the main page, no orders no tracking! When it does work it might be good because the old site was difficult to navigate.
The store might be fine, but do not order anything by mail. I ordered a $12.00 t-shirt and was charged $7.95 in shipping! Ridiculous! When I tried to send it back because it didn't fit they wanted another $5.95 in shipping. I ended up paying $14.00 for a $12.00 t-shirt. Never again!
Worst experience ever. I made a purchase online for some boots. They were paid for and in transit with UPS. Then bam no package Nordstrom decided to intercept the package and have it returned back to them. I was told it wash a human error in pricing. Well ok that was not my error. I was purchasing these boots as a Birthday gift for myself. Thanks now I have to run around looking for a replacement... this is not how you conduct business and expect to keep customers
So I ordered a watch on this site on December 12 with a promise it would be here by Christmas. Now it's the 21st and they haven't even shipped it. I have ordered well over $2,000 in merchandise here and no one cares. I guess Amazon only from now on... sad.
I have been a devoted Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack customer for over 15 years. I have noticed that in the past year, they advertise stuff that they don't have in stock. I even got a notice that something was shipping and then a few days later it never showed up. I looked online and they cancelled it without telling me. I have had this happen at least a dozen times over the past year. Do they have an inventory system not linked to their website? Don't buy anything from them because chances are, you won't get it.

Answer: It took roughly 2 to 3 weeks to process my order. I placed a similar order with a different company and received the items by the end of the same week.
