My issue complaint is Nordstrom Rack's Online ordering requirement with gift cards. I disagree with being forced to enter my bank or credit card information when I had a gift card with an amount clearly over the purse purchase I attempted to make. My gift card was $95.00. I attempted to order a purse, online, with was $78.00. The online form wouldn't let me. I chatted with an online agent who stated I must submit either a bank account number or credit card. I disagree, this was unacceptable. Nordstrom Rack LOST a sale on this purse. I found exact same purse on Poshmark at a cheaper price! I will NOT refer anyone to this Nordstrom Rack website... forcing possible customers to submit financial information which is not needed.
I ordered my items on 12/27/16 and I was just told that I my expected delivery date is 01/09/17. This is 13 days! I have never ever waited 13 days for something that is expected to arrive within 3 to 7 days!
Two of the 4 items I bought online from the Nordstrom Rack are knockoffs! Addidas shoes were fake, I have another pair and very inferior. Bought Clinique moisturizer that appeared previously open and did not resemble current Clinique packaging. Afraid to use it and it cannot be returned.

Ordered items online from Nordstrom Rack and the advertised shipping was 3-5 days. Now in my 7th day, Nordstrom Rack Customer Service Rep told me it will be another 3-5 days because they are upgrading their shipping system.
I guess Nordstrom/HauteLook with all their Harvard grad senior management never heard of running a working system in parallel with a "new and improved" system. Saw a new article of major layoffs at Nordstrom. They may have laid off the guy that new how the system worked!
Zero stars! I ordered 2 pairs of shoes in one order; Nordstrom sent me an email indicating the first pair had shipped 7 days later the carrier website as well as the Nordstrom website has no tracking information.
I contacted the carrier they indicated they have not received the item.
I then call Nordstrom and the woman told me it shows the item was received by the carrier, when I told her it was not she told me to wait till the 18th and check back.
So wait 3weeks just for an answer?
Waste of time, I should have heeded the online reviews. I'm just going to have the charges reversed.
First and last order!
I was online shopping with no problem and when I got to the checkout I hit 'checkout' and it immediately submitted my order. I never got to review it at all! It used the card previously on the account (which wasn't even mine) and shipped to my old address. There was never a spot to add new payment or anything it just submitted my order and apparently it happened the night before which I saw today. Called customer service and they can't even guarantee I'll get my money back! Also had a gift card which there wasn't a spot to put in the code before it submitted too. Needless to say I just spent 200$ on my boyfriends credit card and there was no way of stopping it.
Found a pair of Born boots online at Nordstrom. They were just $5 or $10 less than other retailers so I took a chance. I didn't realize Nordstrom is selling used items at retail price! They didn't even come in a shoebox. They were in a zip lock baggie, no tags, no receipt. The box they were mailed in looked like it had been in water and had mud or mold on it! And they were clearly used with wrinkling at the toes and dirty soles. And I had to PAY to RETURN the shoes to Nordstrom? Will never shop here again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Very Slow shipping, they sent wrong item and they were very rude on the phone and of course no one in upper management was around to speak with they wouldn't give me any names or other phone numbers to call. Will NEVER buy from them again
Took them so long to even process my order and eahc process of where my delivery is going were two days apart from each other and most of the time it's just sitting around. I'm an online shopper and I've ordered from all over the world this was the slowest I've ever experienced. The estimate time is over two weeks just from the location of where it's coming from(Long Beach CA) to my location (Calgary AB) which isn't too far. After seeing all the reviews I just hope I get the correct items... I'm not hating but I just want these guys to improve if I ever shop here again.

After reporting my package missing, the company weren't wiling to resolve my issue. I didn't realize the delivery company they used was the same company I had issues with in the past. I came here to read some reviews and seems like a lot of people are having similar problem.
They had the nerve to send me a denial email telling me to choose a different carrier for my future purchase when the agent himself stated that they didn't have that option. They practically said I am $#*! out of luck. So now I'm out $500. Hopefully my credit card company will be able to tag this purchase as fraud.

Nordstrom Rack you shouldn't be playing with your customers money like a bank. You shouldn't be charging for items that are clearly out of stock only to take six business days to refund money that was never owed! You should be ashamed!
Still waiting to hear if a pair of jeans I bought over a week ago have been shipped. In the meantime I ordered a few things from Nordstroms on line and I was sent an email saying order was shipped and an expected date the next day. The service should be the same for both the main store and the rack. Won't be ordering on line from the rack again.
I placed an order online, they canceled it, then they still charged me for it. My son Jalen is autistic and leaves in a shelter in Arizona. His birthday is on December 10th, Nordstrom's not only practiced fraud, but is ruining my son's birthday.
I tried to cancel an order i placed that day and they wouldn't let me since it was processing, the said it was a final sale item so the only think i could do was to resell it online because they couldn't do anything to help me... their exact words "in this kind of situations I recommend you to try to sell this items online, you know, you can even get benefit with the price, because you bought it in a very good discount."
With their price I can't even make my money back on it...
I placed an order with Nordstrom Rack. After multiple delays, Nordstrom cancelled the order as they did not in fact have the inventory. They advised they had also refunded the charge they placed on my credit card. Three business days later my credit card still did not show a refund. I waited on hold with Nordstrom for an hour and a half- but without resolution. While everything is more difficult for businesses during a pandemic, I've had this experience with Nordstrom previously- so this is in fact a Nordstrom issue, not a COVID issue.
Terrible, simply awful customer service (if you can even call it that). They are clueless about when or IF your order will ship. They charge you when the item hasn't even shipped and then when I asked what my recourse would be if it hadn't shipped within their 3-day window (which it hadn't) they actually told me to dispute it with my credit card company since "it couldn't be canceled?!" Live chat is worse; they simply disconnect you without responding. Save your energy and shop elsewhere.
I would like to applaud Ms. Brianna at the Redondo Beach Nordstrom Rack for her courteous, kind, patient excellent service with a smile. Many years I have shopped at this location but this is the first customer service representative that is an asset to this location and the Nordstrom Company.

Ordered shoe A from their website, shoe A is what was pictured on their website. They sent a different color. I contacted them via CS chat and their solution to my inconvenience was "send it back". Okay, if I order the correct shoes again, are you going to send me the correct shoes or a second pair of incorrect shoes? "Probably the same ones you just received. Probably a glitch on our website". They literally said "if you want to send the shoes back I can offer you a free return and free shipping on a different pair". Holy Smokes! Are you kidding me? I can return the incorrect pair you sent for free AND you'll give me free shipping on a different pair? No, no. That's simply too much.
In summary, they screwed the order up, either their customer service sucks or their reps aren't empowered to do anything for the inconvenience they cause. I won't be ordering from them again, you shouldn't either.
Ordered a couple of items nore than ten days ago and just received a shipping confirmation today. Unfortunately the tracking number says the package was delivered to California on August 9th but today is October 27th and I live in Michigan. This is the second issue I've had with them within the past few weeks. Previously they claimed that a 500.00 handbag had been shipped to me but they didn't have a tracking number. Something is definitely going on with Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack.
Always cancelled. After payment confirmation " you item out of stock". Ok. But not always, please! Returned not full amount. Need to waiste time to return it back. Can not trast to this company anymore. Lots of problems for nothing.

Answer: It took roughly 2 to 3 weeks to process my order. I placed a similar order with a different company and received the items by the end of the same week.
