I love Newegg. I have bought countless amounts of hardware from them over the years and their distribution center is close enough for me to pickup orders on will-call.

Cord/Charger broke into 3 pieces after 1 week. Have to send everything back for replacement or refund. What a waste of time and money, what not replace the cord? No longer a customer
I bought a bunch of software from this website. Priced reasonably to a little expensive, but everything is legit and can be trusted with your credit card.
My 13 year-old ordered (through his father) a brand new PC, turned it on and it does not work. There is no number to call. How horrific.

Newegg customer service has restored much of my faith in them. My original issue is still not completely resolved but they have been very good at trying to bring this to conclusion.
All the items are rather good, the quality suits me. Will be back for more, I think. Cant tell about any negative sides at this point, haven`t got many orders for statistics.

Although they may not always be the cheapest, their hassle-free return/exchange policy should be something to consider. I've never had any majors issues.
I attempted to order a LitePanels 1x1 SuperSpot LED light. I should have known the NewEgg price, which was well below vendors in the cinematic lighting industry, was too good to be true.
I placed the order complete with overnight shipping options then thought to follow up and request NewEggs $3 rush service. When I went back to the product page, the "in stock" note had changed to"out of stock."
Suspicious, I chatted one of the NewEgg support personnel. I was told there was a 1-2 day "processing time" before the order shipped and that orders for items out of stock may be cancelled. I could not get a clear answer whether my order would be honored or how the "processing time" worked when a customer requests overnight shipping.
Absolutely unacceptable procedure for an on-line merchant.
After spending almost $2000 on a new build PC, I was sent 2 faulty parts that made it impossible to complete the build. I immediately called them (2 days after receiving shipment to tell them I'd like to return all items since they ship faulty parts. They fought with me for DAYS trying to just issue me store credit and not accept my returns. Finally, they said I could return the items AT MY OWN SHIPPING EXPENSE AND ONLY RECEIVE PARTIAL REFUND. In the end, I will only get about half of my money back after being sent bad products. MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE SHOPPING HERE!
I have been a long time newegg advocate and have been purchasing my electronics there for about 10 years. Up until recently, my experience had been unparalleled as the best online marketplace for consumer electronics. But it seems that in recent years, all that has changed. What was once the most helpful customer service is now slow and unhelpful. What once was a quick and painless chat with a representative now takes over 60 min just to get connected (for both phone and chat window). And after waiting that time, I have even had them hang up on me without warning at the close of business hours. What used to be a simple exchange process for defective items, now takes multiple customer service interactions with ultimately unsatisfactory results. Most recently, after mailing a defective item for a replacement, they sold the last one one day before my item arrived at the processing facility which means that by choosing newegg all that I had to show at the end of 3 weeks was frustration and the knowledge to select a different retailer for future purchases. Take this as a word of warning, newegg is not the company that it once was. They are no longer customer-centric and can no longer guarantee any kind of customer *******@Nicholas, I could not find any way to send a private message through sitejabber. I've purchased a lot from newegg over the years, especially motherboards and cases.
They ship really fast and deliver quality products.
Not a fan of their third party merchants though.
I was very disappointed last black Friday when I tried to purchase one of Newegg deals on their eBay store, unlike most of eBay stores and other respectful websites like Amazon they refused to accept payment from my non-US based Paypal account! Despite the fact that I was shipping to a US address!. This is non-sense, so I sent a message to them regarding this issue but their extremely very slow response was negative too, stating that It's Newegg policy and they will not change it anytime soon.
I really do regret the considerable amount of time which I totally wasted on them following their account & deals on eBay.

Good variety of products, there are even some non-tech related stuff, though I haven't tried buying those. Delivery is usually on time and the packages are in good condition.
This has been the worst company to work with. After trying to return an item I had just gotten that had never been used they have the worst customer service. It's not even the customer service, it's the company as a whole. They are okay with ripping people off and taking their money. Wish I would have read their reviews before buying. COMPANY IS A COMPLETE JOKE.

I have been dealing with Newegg for years, whenever there is a issue customer service is there, you can count on it. Would recommend to family and friends.
They are a SCAM. I had my credit card charged for an order I never placed.
They were rude and said I made the order. THAT WAS A LIE.
I asked them where it was shipped and they couldn't tell me.
They were so rude to both my boyfriend and I. I can see that I'm not the only one that this happened to.
BIG SCAM SITE, don't give them you're credit card information.
I typically buy from Amazon... bought an item from Newegg and realized after the order was placed that no returns allowed on product type even if unopened. :( I will stick with Amazon going forward.

I've purchased a few Computer related items from New Egg. They "sometimes" have fair prices, but not always. They often have items that are difficult for me to find on Amazon, Tiger Direct, etc.

I am a "premier" member and have been shopping at Newegg since 2009. I own a small business building and fixing computers. I've been mostly using amazon for my business needs but have used newegg frequently personally. So I tried moving some of my business over and a fiasco ensued which cost me $300, headache and potential loss of a longtime client. None of which was my fault. Newegg support offered me some assistance on a new purchase.It's difficult to call as I am very busy throughout the day and get pulled away and can't give my full attention. I recently have not been able to speak with who has been assisting me as they are so busy. I've been trying to work out the situation over email. To make matters worse when I am communicating via email most of the time something is completely missed, when I'm obviously asking a question it got ignored and an agreement fell through. The poor communication and lack thereof has made this more of a hassle than it has to be, perhaps the intention was good at first but I've gotten nowhere.

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.

Answer: Use paypal when you buy, because if you have a serious problem Newegg will do everything it can to keep your money.The only thing they respect is getting a negative reputation with paypal.
Answer: Pay Pal will not help you. After several hours on the phone with PayPal and which ever company you bought from, you will still ultimately get screwed by PayPal or end up waiting 2 months before you get you money back, if at all.
