The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

I had an idea of what I was looking for. Luckily they made my thoughts and hope take action.
I was excited about getting my website set up and having a professional looking site that would attract clients to my business. The young lady who initially interviewed.me took the information I gave her and populated the website with information that looked like she had just taken dictation and cut and paste the content onto my website. I expected that the site would be set up with amazing content using the information I provided, but that was not the case.
I was told that I would not be billed for 4-5 days once the website was up and running and final edits made and following my consultation. That was not the case. I was billed after just 2 days and had not received my final consultation. Needless to say I'm not happy with web.com. Would hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
For an exisitng business that has everyday revenus a real good site, otherwise not good for a start-up business. They constantly come up with ways to "improve" your site
However always want more cash
I believe I have made the right choice with this company, all but one person was willing to go the extra mile to assist me on my novice Web lingo. Craig, Jordan, and the introductory man I spoke too earlier in the day. Missed his call and couldn't remember his name, but he rocked also. I would recommend this company minus Josh who didn't seem interested in my website, he was curt and didn't attempt to inquire about my business even tho I tried to explain to him the content of the business, he declined. Actually I felt like I was begging to be heard. Craig is a rock star and took care of business. Yes I am feeling super special. Jordan is the guy you want to assist in building your site. Just saying.
Refused to refund after cancelation was made in correct time frame. Had to cancel credit card to stop from additional charges. From the first conversation, they have misrepresented and lied about everything. Impossible company to deal with.
Dear Mike,
I apologize you had a frustrating experience cancelling your account, can you give me some more specifics via private message so that we can improve?
Regards,
-Mike
Erin was quite patient, and walked me through the various questions. She explained the process and clarified some points that were missing from the initial conversations I had had. I sensed a desire to up-sell me to include Facebook, but I declined based on the price tag; small consulting firms just cannot afford the money. Overall, good experience.
Gail was professional, kind, funny, encouraging and a pure pleasure to work with. She asked great questions, listened to what I was saying and worked hard to capture the essence of what I was looking for.
This was an one two step process and the CSR were right on the money in creating a web site that will show off all my access. Check back and I will keep you all informed. Darcusxoxo
Several years ago when I purchased an existing dog boarding facility, I wanted to get a website up and running; so my customers could find me and also to be able to make their reservations on-line. The web hosting company I choose was Network Solutions and I have been pleased over the years with the service they have provided for me. Again, today, the company representatives, Steven in renewals and Erin in marketing provided top notch assistance for my problems and questions. Thanks, again, for being there.
She walked me through the process and gathered information. I look forward to see the 1st draft of my website soon.
She was so amazing. Grasping my babbling brainstorms of ideas, 100% able to see my vision and funnel into where we needed to go.
So patient (my son was sick and screaming)
Beautiful choices of wording. Helped me get unblocked when I could not find words to express myself. I give her ************** thumbs up!
Love her!
Web. Come is the best of the best when it comes to customer services, they are warm and friendly staff to deal with, I give web. Come 100% for there customer services.
And got disconnected and spent over an hour via numerous phone #'s and holds trying to reconnect; only to find out they could not find my new account. Waiting for a marketing specialist to call. Was told it takes 24 hrs. For the account to become activated. So needless to say my first impression and experience were less than positive. :(
Brigita,
I'm sorry you had to go through all that, sounds rough. I can assure you that's not the norm, and would happy to have someone reach out and try to make it a bit smoother! I'll send you a private message to get some info.

While it is premature to submit a final review of my website, I am pleased to say that Kyle, who discussed what would go into the design, was quite helpful and understood my needs for the website. I'm looking forward to the final product.
You start out believing you will get a low cost website. I ended up paying $800 for a custom site and agreed to the $114/month for hosting and support.
That $114 got me nothing! I thought it included SEO but it does not. That's extra. I had some issues and called support thinking I would get great support but every time I've called them, I get passed from one team to another, usually about 4 times before giving up.
One month, they billed me for 3. I'm now trying to move my domain to another host (that costs $10 per month) but they aren't responding to the request. I've called them twice now to get this done and I get the same run around as every other time I've called
Scott,
I apologize that you had a poor experience, and would be happy to assist with closing out your services (and moving your domain name).
I'll send you a direct message and attempt to assist.
Regards,

The Web Consultant that help me today was Julie. She was very helpful when it can to helping me with the beginning stages of my first website. I would recommend her to anyone who is starting their first website.
Do NOT use WEB.com - go to someone who cares. First, you have to CALL them to CANCEL your website. And then, they put you through 20 questions before they will cancel. Then they lock your domain so you cannot transfer your domain to someone else. Incessant sales calls, hours of aggravation & waiting on HOLD via phone. Don't bother with support tickets -- they refer you to CALL IN - which does not solve the problem either. 1 year later, I am STILL trying to get my domain transferred.
Em,
I'm sorry you've had such a frustrating experience! I'd be happy to assist with your domain transfer.
I'll send you a private message to assist.

I made a mistake and went through the steps and purchased the web.Com to try and create more revenue for my business, more leads. I was shocked, it wouldn't work. I ask for help, and none, I ask for a refund and none! Please beware of this company and you don't get scammed yourself!
Thaxton,
I'm sorry that you feel you didn't receive the help you needed, I'd be happy to investigate your experience further. I'll send you a private message to collect some account details.

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
Answer: Hey there Mira - if you call into our customer support lines at 1-866-655-7679 we'd be happy to help!^MB
