My experience today was very good with all the people I spoke with at Network Solutions and Web.Com. They have recommended a program that I think will be very helpful for our business.
They were right there to help an answer all questions
Canceled after 3 days, as decided against going with web page for my small business. Only to get told deposit is non-refundable because it business to business. Was never told this when took it out or probably wouldn't have. Will go with a web provider in future but definitely wont be web.com

I was in a fog when I called Web.com but thanks to Krysten I can see clearly now. She is a competent, compassionate, and considerate professional who is a real joy to work with.
I lost three weeks of personal web building. Each call to Web.com is from 20-40 minutes. The recording is stuck on 'It will be another ten minutes.' They promise to send e-mails they don't deliver. They sent me to Register.com and that was a joke. Three calls and I finally got my confirmation e-mail and refund. So far this nightmare is on going since today they didn't sent the e-mail with my EPP to transfer my domain. I am so angry because when I called back they said they were closed till Monday.

I was blown away. The person I spoke with not only discussed details about my website that I would never have thought of on my own. She also wanted to know my business inside and out so we could portray who we are and what we represent to the visitors on the site. She walked me through multiple marketing strategies and ideas that will help our business grow. She was very professional and patient through the whole process. I had no idea customer service like this still existed. I was blown away!
I visited the website just to browse, and they got my number and called me to answer some general questions I had... but before I knew it, my general questions ended up the creation of my whole idea 4 hours later. All on the fly. The consultant had the creative knowledge to get inside your head and help me design what I want. Without that first phone call, today I would have nothing. Months of thinking about my idea translated to actual business creation. Wow.

Both Bob & Erin were extremely helpful in explaining what happened to our domain name, what my options were, what other things they could provide, and explained it all in a way that I (not a technically savvy person) can understand easily. It was really like a breath of fresh air, giving me all my options of what we can but not at all pushy or trying to sell me anything that I wasn't interested in.

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
