The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

You can't seem to get my SSL to work. I spent about 45 minutes on your phone support and it's still not fixed.
Everything is super clear and transparent. And the account home page is also clear and manageable. So far so good!
$#*!ty website, everything costs money including certificate, Cannot transfer to another website providing free ssl and all kinds of perks until 60 days. Basically robbery. Will refund if I can
I signed up for the $75.00 for a year on your 65% sale on 1/30/23. When I went to my site, I had to pay $10 per month for SSL Certificate. I called and the salesperson stated it was YOUR COMPANY'S error and sent me to Support. To add SSL certificate to my plan. The support lady stated that none of your programs included SSL certificates. But your website states it comes with it. Big Scam. So I signed up for $75 a year, but then you add $120 for SSL certificate. I asked for a manager to call me back (since he was busy) and he never did. SHOCKER! I asked for a refund. All the web creators I could have gone with and I go with a scam.
I can not create a site no option to do so just a bunch of pay more we need money pay more pay more
Want to change primary phone number but can't without locking account, annoying. Also limited by features available.

Pointer doesn't work, and there's no qualified help
The experience is good but the fact that I need to contact your support to set up AAAA records for my domains is one of the most inefficient and annoying workflows anyone has ever come up with.
Why is it not just an additional option in the dropdown menu?
I just made a purchase and I cannot find any information or reference to the domain name. The site is not very user friendly
It isnt easy to use im trying to figure out how to build my website and have spent all day trying to figure it out
Billing for items that are not explained? I cancelled and still continued to get billed? Find another company with more transparency!
My domain doesn't work and your service is horrible.
If you use register.com, you better hope you never have any problems because their customer support is ridiculous. You will get a person but having been dealing with them for over a month on an issue, I think it would take a miracle to get a rssolution. Promised callbacks never happen. I don't know how this company stays in business. My recommendation - run as fast and as far away from this company that you can.
This place will contact you and tell you that you have a balance with them. They will do this even if you don't use their services or have an account with them. And they will do it over and over. If you have someone new working your front desk, WATCH OUT.
Red Flag: Don't sign up for any services when you cannot turn off auto-renewal.
My non-profit client had used Network Solutions (NS) for web and email hosting a small website for years. We were asked to review. NS added on a boat load of useless services that was costing our client of $200 a month in charges for a single email account and a 5-page static website hosting. We moved the hosting and domain to a new provider for under $30 a month, and turned off all NS services ofver live chat. The agent said "I have disabled all the auto renewals from my end." A month later new charges appeared on our client's account for SSL services (with no web hosting) and Contant Contact services (with no email hosting). I asked for a refund. They refused.
I called the Customer Service number and after 30 minutes of being on hold, was disconnected and sent to a survey. I called back and talked to a new agent, and I threatened to file complaints with the BBB and the California State Attorney General if the unautorized charges were not refunded, and then was placed on hold for another 5 minutes, after which the agent said their supervisor agreed to refund the last 2 charges. Hopefully this is the end of the NS nightware.
My experience has been horrible. I utilized customer service and they were not knowledgable of prices and basically advised that I needed to place my order before they could give me a set monthly price. This is after they weren't even giving me a monthly option. The website takes forever to build your own website after choosing a template. It seems like you're paying for nothing.
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
Answer: Hey there Mira - if you call into our customer support lines at 1-866-655-7679 we'd be happy to help!^MB
