I think you can't beat what NACA offers—no down payment no closing costs, no PMI, it's a conventional not FHA, and they disregard your credit score, and they offer the NACA buy down which is a 2-1 buy down. You have to upload bank statements and stuff like that which is a nuisance but worth it. It's quite a long wait to get your first appointment so not a bad idea to get started way sooner than you think you want to buy. I think that after they started doing the online webinars instead of in-person, a flood of members started to join, so the counselors have a lot assigned to them. My tip is—the squeaky wheel gets the grease you know, you gotta stay on it.

Process is a bit slow but they offer a ton of different incentives that other lenders dont. Be prepared to wait a while to get thru the process but otherwise its a great program!

My sister referred me to the naca program, she's a homeowner she informed me of all the benefits on going though that program. I did my research and I think this program would be a great help to purchase my first home. I have been a member since 2020 so far everyone i have talked to has been such a great help.

I am in my beginning stages of working with NACA but I must say the process, although a lot of documentation, has not been to bad. The staff is very knowledgeable and I feel I'm in good hands. If looking for a home, NACA is the way to go!

The NACA process would receive a one star rating, but the results deserve five stars.

The NACA process is long and tedious. I was on the brink of giving up several times, however, I'm happy I stuck with the program. It really is the best mortgage in America. I had several counselors, the best counselor I've had is my most recent, Gladys DeGutierrez, who brought me to the finish line. She is thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. Your counselor makes all the difference.

This process is not for those looking for a quick turn around or for the faint of hart. It requires persistence. But it will pay off.

I wasn't aware that there was a program like NACA, being former homeowner I was able to get all the incentives when purchasing my first home, so giving up my home to my ex-husband in our divorce buying a home again I knew was going to be challenging. However, attending one of the NACCA workshops I found this not to be true. The workshop was very informative and the benefits that NACCA has to offer has given me another chance in purchasing a home. What really helped me is that your credit score is not considered because I had to file Chapter 13 due to a Divorce which was beyond my control. There are many documents and information that you have to submit but it will be well worth it. The process is fairly easy as long as you have all of your documents (tax returns, paystubs, etc) The counselors are super helpful and makes the process easier.
