MyUS met all my shipping needs, where I needed a package forwarding service, with their unbeatable customer service, fast package shipping, one whole month free storage and best of all the option to compare shipping prices and choose the most preferable courier.
I was hocked with a wrong option of selecting a shipment carrier. I selected fedex instead of DHL and one of my item was not included because it refused to check when i selected "include all" option because of special handling fee. No option to resolve it. I'm Australian, and if you're one too you'll probably agree we get screwed over when it comes to online shopping.
No longer do my hopes and dreams fly out the window when I get to the end of a checkout and see the soul shattering sentence "this item does not ship to your location". This is all thanks to MyUs.com. Trust me it's what you've been searching for.
Here's a rundown of my experience with them...
I wanted to buy some nice leather boots and after days of searching I finally found some I liked from a store called Zappos. However Zappos don't ship to Australia and even if they did I had no way of paying for the items as my australian cards weren't accepted. Fantastic. So I searched around and found MyUs.com. I needed to sign up and in the end payed about $10 for a basic subscription. Then I made a "Personal Shopper" request by copying the links to the items I wanted as well as filling out a few boxes regarding colours, sizes, etc. to ensure they bought the exact items I wanted. Pretty cruisy so far. Next, they bought the items and had them shipped to their warehouse. This all took about one week or less. They unpacked the package, took photos of everything and sent me options on shipping. Everything looked good to me so I chose a shipping method. I kid you not, three days later it's on my doorstep. No drama at all.
As for the prices, I should point out that MyUs charge a 10% fee to whatever it is your buying. If it costs $100 you'll be paying $110 and then shipping aswell. When it comes to shipping, my two pairs of boots ended up being roughly $100 just for shipping. So although I'm thrilled about my order, be prepared, cause it can add up quick.
Honestly, if there's something your dying to buy, you can't live without it, money's no problem, but sellers won't ship to you, MyUs is your solution. However if your a bargain hunter looking for awesome deals, this might not be for you.

MyUS over charges for shipping. In addition to your membership fee, their shipping fee is padded and much higher than Amazon. They have made repeated mistakes with my shipments but I always have to pay for their mistakes.
I should have gave it to the Marx Brothers... I the line that comes to mind with MyUS

It was a great experience with MyUS especially that consolidation is free. I thought that since this service is free they wouldn't really do it "perfectly" as to lower weight and dimensions as much as possible, but it turned out to be completely the opposite when I received the package. I was very satisfied with the shipping rate and the packaging material. I had almost 70 pairs of shoes and a total of 130 pieces, I couldn't believe that all of them could fit into 2 medium sized boxes so that the dimensional weight was equal to the actual weight (You can check in my photos all the delivered items and their packaging). The package arrived on time as expected. The only downside is that it takes so much time for a package to appear in the inbox once it is delivered to my suite, I was in a hurry to ship all my boxes same day, and even though the last box was delivered, I had to wait another day to ship it because it didn't appear in my inbox, so I requested 2 different shipments. Could have saved money if I could ship them all together on the same day. Also their personal shopper is a bit slow. Everything else was great. Best Support is Jessica, this lady knows everything and she answers clearly all my questions no matter how complicated they are. Thank you Jess! Overall great experience and would recommend to others!

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
