When I was having problems with the sender putting the wrong address in for a debit card I was furious! I spoke with MyUS right away and they sent someone down to receiving to make notes to look for that package for free when it's normally $5. They were so nice, polite and most importantly fast, we found the package and within 2 days it got from Florida to Japan all thanks to them.

I'm living in kuwait, and we have an expensive shipping so its hard for us to order every time, thats why we like the 'hold' idea, its help us saving money very well, and i had an issue with my visa and they responded by email quickly 2 days business.
This is is not user friendly. And i bought 4 lipstick and a makeup brush which costed a total of 25$. I selected "cheapest shipping rate" for this company to ship my product to me in canada I recieved an invoice stating I authorized a paypal payment of 41$ for shipping. I did no such thing. And 41$ to ship a few small parcels? Wow. Lesson learnt. Never again.

I bought an item form Amazon and used MyUS to ship it to my country. I selected for them to help me choose the preferred ship method "least expensive option". But what was chosen was DHL Express, which was $40 more expensive than the FedEx Priority. I made a complaint via live chat and an angel, Daniela from MyUS support staff, heard my plea. She immediately know that something was wrong when she looked at my MyUS profile account. A couple of days later I got credits in my MyUS account, for the difference in shipping costs, which can automatically be applied to my next order. This lead to another problem, though I appreciate the thought and I will be doing business with them in the future but what I really wanted was the credit to be transferred directly into my bank account. I made another complaint via email. Not long after that, on the same day, I checked MyUS history account and saw that my credit was being transferred into my bank account done by another angel Erika. But the thing is, I was not informed of this transfer happening. I then waited a couple of days but there was still no credits transferred in to my bank account. I contacted MyUS via live chat again. The third angel, Jessica from MyUS support staff assured me that everything is alright and that it will take 7 to 10 days for the credit to transfer. Had problems with the CC verification. Devin, the support agent, pointed out to me, that the MyUS email claiming that a payment failed, merely meant the verification process failed.
He also pointed out that the fact i can't see my current billing address, is a security feature. I find that outlandish.
Other than that, i'm happy with the service. Customer support is good.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
