My card was charged to renew my Premium membership when I had no intention to do that. Devin was nice enough to switch the account to standard while converting the charge to account credit for personal shopper or shipping.
I'd suggest though that they provide an option for turning off the auto renewal feature as the reason I did not switch back to standard was so that I could use up the premium subscription period.

I've been importing personal items from USA since 2002. I used several forwarding companies till my brother adviced me to use MyUs a little more than a year ago.
I was surprised when I discovered the options and services that MyUs offers!
They are super fast acknowledging reserving any shipment, very accurate information with the option of having the item pictured, the ability to choose what to ship now and what to save for later, combined all items in one shipment make it super saver in time and cost, all items arrived in excellent packaging material & excellent condition, their customer service members are super nice and proactive (one email will solve all your problems and a discount as a nice gesture from them)... The team is loving what they are doing. That's why you will find them deal with you with respect, integrity and with care...

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
