I have been using myus.com to ship purchases from the US to Brazil. Every box has been complete and well packaged. But the one thing I love the most is that they stay in contact with you. If you email them with a question, you immediately hear back with an answer and help if needed. I have recommended the site to my other expat friends.
I have been charged for a mistake that wasn't mine, the package came with incomplete address, and they charged me with a lot of money! They robbed me! There are so many other companies and I will change to one of them and let them continue steeling people, I have had so many issues with my us for more than 5 years, I always let go and brush it off, but this one is too much. They will fail eventually if that is how they work.
My agent Angel was very responsive and helpful in resolving a few navigational issues I was having with the site. Everything worked as advertised, and the overall experience was seamless.
All and all I am satisfied with the service and my experience. I like the new improvements to the site - much better.
Good Day I would like to enhance the moral fiber of Ms Angel ( I don't have a surname) who has been a tremendous help in my time of distraugt with My U. S Com. Since the web site has changed, Iam not able to access it from my place of employment to create shipment requests. I am now forced to send the request via e-mail and Ms. Angel has supported my request with very rapid responses. I was very astound with her awesome mannerisms. My initial thought was that I was burdensome as no one was responding to my plight and she rescued me with her kind and prompt response each time. She is so worthy of high praise just when I was about to throw in the towel with My US.com. Hats oft to Angel.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
