My trip will not give you any support if something goes wrong, try a local an wellknown actor instead (Mytrip is Indian).
Customer service is a foreign call centre that simply read off a script. I have called daily for 3 weeks, every single time I am told "we have contacted the airline, please wait and give us more time - don't worry, we are sure it will be fine". Every. Single. Time.
We're due to fly out in 6 days.
For context, our return flight from Auckland to Heathrow on 13/04/23 was rescheduled by 5 minutes, yet MyTrip tell me it's cancelled and can't rebook. Air New Zealand say this is not the case, we're still booked on but MyTrip (as the travel agent), just need to reissue the ticket - they are surprised by the actions (or lack thereof) by MyTrip. We are a family of four with a 4 month old baby and a 4 year old. No urgency or compassion given from MyTrip call centre when we reiterate this.
When I ask how long, they reply "we cannot give you a time but please just wait".
When I ask if there will be a fare price difference, they say "hmm I am not sure but please just wait".
When I ask what my options are, they say "please wait for the airline authorisation".
When I ask what if they don't authorise it, they say "we will contact you by email with options".
When I ask to speak to a manager or the booking team they say "there is no one else available right now sir".
Having read other reviews here, it's clear that we will not get a refund processed (some are still waiting 12+ months). Instead we will be the calling Etravali Group press office daily, owner of MyTrip, as it's the only other number we can find.
AVOID. Once you book and pay, you are on your own my friend and will only deal with bots in a call centre that take zero action. Resolving this issue 6 days out, for return flight from LHR to AKL for a family of 4, will cost us thousands.
If I could rate 0 I would. Reading through some of the reviews higher than 1 it's pretty evident they are from bots to boost ratings above 1.
Flights were changed with a few days notice and offered a flight 24hrs before. Appreciate that's the airline and not their fault. However, my options were pick this flight and pay the difference if any or apply for a refund to which I won't get any extras back that I've paid for. Great, held to ransom at this point with the rest of my trip booked up.
It turned into an ordeal after this point with countless hours on hold and being passed between people who could not speak English more so than on their scripts.
New ticket not issued - phone call one as was a bit concerned we needed to change hundreds of pounds worth of accommodation, hire cars etc about. New ticket issued the day after the call and didn't include the £176 worth of baggage we had paid for - phone call 2. Get a confirmation email two days before flight to say I'm on original flight - phone call 3, and they still kept repeating back the wrong date to me/ flip flopping between dates on the call - worried at this point. Day before flight get an email in my junk mail half an hour after check in opens to say they couldn't book my bags for me so I'll have to do at the airport, no apology and message was as basic as that. Phone call 4 - do I have baggage? And what about the £176 I've paid? Plus the extra 20 for them to get my boarding passes for me (had to do this myself). I was assured a refund was coming in the next few days (its been 10 days now) for the baggage only, everything else non refundable? Ha.
To add to the experience, I also paid for vegetarian meals on the flight. These weren't booked for me either, Great. Another 13.99 I paid them to not organise for me.
Unless you want to spend countless hours on the phone and have some major stress to kick start your holiday please avoid! Still need to deal with these cowboys upon my return unfortunately - I think I stand a better chance at going through my credit card company under section 75.
Playing 45 USD to cancel a reservation 5 mins after I made, when the card hadn't been charged is not acceptable. Will never use yours Services again.
GulfAir refunded on cancellation of flight due to Covid but mytrip.com is not refunding to my account. No customer care and no answer to calls.
I have bought a ticket via Mytrip for a flight by Yanair. 2 days later (several days before a flight) I received a message that the flight has been cancelled.
It was almost 1,5 months ago.
I wanted to go to court, but Mytrip promised to solve the situation as soon as possible and said they have applied for refund to Yanair.
Today I got email that the flight has been cancelled due to the COVID-19. Due to the COVID-19? Really?
There were no additional restrictions to fly from Ukraine to Georgia! The period when the company sold the ticket was the same week when the flight should take place! Nothing has changed during this week!
There were no force majeure curcimates! Yanair canceled the flight upon their wish to take people's money!
And Mytrip assists with this scam.
In this email also has been stated that they WILL APPLY FOR THE REFUND (they said they did it more than a month ago).
And that they will refund me if the aircompany will refund them.

Outcome: Whatever happens, never buy anything by Mytrip. They will take your money and disappear. While several managers will send you copy-paste that they have done their best to help you.

Booked a return flight to Budapest for next to nothing. Should have known it was too good to be true with a scam company like My Trip. Within 24 hours of making the booking I received an email to say my seat on the return flight had been cancelled because it was fully booked but the outward hadn't and so I was asked to re book a new return flight… shock the prices had gone up way more than they were originally. However what was more strange was that my original return flight was still available to purchase online at the original cheap price. I questioned the customer service team (might I add who were near IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of) who advised that their system hadn't yet updated. Pretty poor system in my opinion allowing more people to waste their hard earned money purchasing flights that aren't even available.
Long story short I pushed to get my refund and was advised it would be impossible to get one and if I wanted to cancel my remaining flight, then I wouldn't get a refund. However upon asking to have my issue escalated, I received an email the next day with an apology as well as confirming a refund was being made for the entire trip. So…. Despite what the customer service team tell you… don't believe it. You're fully well entitled to get your entire refund if one of your flights is cancelled or changed because they can't fly you out to a country and leave you out there. I will never ever book with this company again, A) for the difficulty of getting in contact with their customer service team and B) for the scam they present their customers. Posting this review for those still trying to get their money back…. Seems like there's a lot of them! Shame on you My Trip!

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
