I originally wrote a terrible review about My Trip because I felt scammed when I purchased and then later needed a refund for around $500. I came to terms I would never be refunded and wrote a review saying how they scammed me, before moving on with my life. Several long months later- I woke up and looked at my bank account realizing they finally did refund me. Saw the refund finally came through so I decided to write a new review correcting my last review. They still need to be better with communicating and sending updates about the refund process. Their customer support needs a lot of improving, but I'm thankful I received my refund. I understand a lot of businesses were suffering during the huge covid-19 outbreak and if a company refunds everyone at the same time, they would go bankrupt so I have empathy... but that empathy is highlighted, mostly because I finally received my money back.
I purchase a flight with cancellation guarantee that would provide a voucher of 90% cost in case of cancellation for any reason. I called to the service and they told me to cancel the flight with the airline first and then to request a refund. So, I cancelled the flight and made numerous attempts to call, but the line was unavailable. Therefore, I send a mail to customer service with the information about flight cancellation and request of refund. The company did not provide a refund with the argument that I sent them a mail instead of calling to them. What an absurd!
Absolutely disgusting agency, a real scam. I booked to Hannover and had to cancel because of a medical emergency. Two months passed before making a partial refund! They took $71 as ‘handling fees' to cancel the ticket plus extra charges. I tried to call them many times, but no one ever picks up the phone! This is a scam agency and I'm surprised that it's listed on Skyscanner! Shame on you guys!
MyTrip is a scam - they will not process your booking, they issue vouchers which cannot be redeemed on their website, none of their telephone numbers work (i. E. 'This number has not been recognised' automated response or the line cuts off before it rings).
On March 8th, 2020 I booked a flight to Norway via MyTrip (L3N637) and paid with my credit card. The flight was canceled on 07/27/2020 due to the pandemic by MyTrip. In the beginning I received regular "status reports" by email about the progress of the reimbursement - until March 2021. According to MyTrip, the money had already arrived from the airline - I was then repeatedly asked for patiency because of the "current situation". After multiple inquiries in summer 2021 I received on August 12th, 2021 that "no reimbursement is possible" - afterwards, after a corresponding answer from my side, I received several messages that the process was being processed with "high pressure" and that it was already in the finance department, etc.
In the meantime is September and the simple reverse booking of almost € 370 to my card account is still pending. Objectively, there is no real intention on the company´s side to reimburse (something like this works within a few weeks with reputable companies) - rather, in my opinion, they simply rely on the fact that as many costumers as possible simply give up sooner or later - something like this probably pays off, especially when it is difficult to grasp this company under civil law.
From my point of view, the offense of embezzlement has been fulfilled here - I will now have an examination of what a criminal prosecution against the company should look like. As a personal future experience (and for others as a recommendation), I advise you to do a little research on the internet first before booking - it would have saved me time and money, as I was obviously not the first to spot this company fell into the trap.
Booked my airline flights through Mytrip.com and my flight time was changed to an earlier time so I needed to cancel my flight as I would not be able to make the connection. Customer service was awful and they made it very difficult to cancel my flight and charged a $30 cancelation fee. Do not book through them!
Had the same horrible experience with this fake company. My sister couldn't come to Canada through the US because the US made a travel restriction to non US citizens. So she couldn't get on her flight, and this "company" kept making non consistent excuses, and trying to *******@aircanada be responsible. Customer services didn't understand anything, or played dumb. Basically hired to irritate you and frustrate you enough to give up. Hours on hold, many phone calls between them and Air Canada. We just wanted another ticket, or credit, we didn't want a refund. Hung up on us twice. So, bottom line: NEVER f****ng use mytrip. Or any other 3rd party agency for that matter.
Tried to change a flight after paying extra for a flex ticket - they will basically just pretend they don't see flights on their website and jack up the prices of flights they can apparently see on their system. Con artists.
Our flight was canceled by the airline and we only received a short email by mytrip with the info that we had to book another flight. We agreed but nothing happened. It needed some further calls and emails to learn that we had to pay 30.00 euros for a rebooking or cancellation (or any further information...). Some more information (and less nonsense-fees) would be nice.
Me and my boyfriend bought 2 flights of British Airways with this agency (to which it sent us back SkyScanner). British Airways has canceled our flights and MyTrip had never notified us and we found out by chance checking on British Airways website. We call British and they said that they notified us sending an email to an email address that MyTrip created automatically (that is not my email address!). At the end we contact MyTrip asking to give us a refund of the tickets but they kept 30£ of fee (fee for which service is not clear at all as they didn't do any service). I will contact a consumer association to make a complaint.

Awful service. They charge you less money for the flight and 20 days after they will change your dates without your consent so you have no choice but rebook. Then they will tell you it's company policy and you have to pay $45 to change it to your preferred date. Awful customer care service. They will claim:" I am here to help you" and they do not help. You'll lose time and money trying to solve the problemes THEY create. Not transparent, not trustworthy and you'll have a feeling to be speaking with a wall. They try to give the impression that they are helping but what they are actually doing is extortion.

My story that I had an open ticket for last year due to Covid restrictions. So this year I tried to call them to rebook my ticket but they keep me on the line for 1 and half hour. And the end of the call they tell me we are sorry sir we can't book the ticket you have to call back in the evening. And then when I call again in the evening the keep me waiting almost one hour again. And their excuses that they have technical issues. I couldn't get my booking til now... I asked to speak with the manager but he was so rude and disrespectful and he did hung up on me.
So guys don't lose your money. Becarful they are thief. Stay away from them.
