I seriously regret buying a ticket throough Mytrip, now i'm stuck in country I can't get through to them on the phone even waiting 2hrs at a time, they will take your money and run, I now stand to lose my return flight and buying a new one with the airline. Your not saving money giving it to these CRIMINALS, buy direct with the airline, its a little bit more but you getting a guaranteed service!
Booked two flights about 3 weeks ago. I put in my last name and once I got the ticket it gave me the same last name as my S/O. Cost $120 change fee for a mistake that was on MyTrip and not with me. Was on hold for 4 hours with them until someone answered and didn't give me the information I needed. We will be there last customer, and please, for the love of god, do not book through them. You will get robbed of your money.
Pay extra and book directly with the airline, My Trip has been an absolute nightmare for the past 2 years, impossible to get a hold of and when you do they have no idea what to do. I received a voucher for a flight that got canceled due to covid and when i tried to use it it didnt work, I tried calling them to fix it and they said they would send through a new voucher, I advised it was urgent and they said they would send it urgently but I still haven't received it, I asked to speak to a manger and they said one will call me back, I still haven't received a phone call. I cannot express enough how bad this website it, DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM!
Absolutely pathetic experience dealing with myTrip.com customer support Team to change the dates for a flexible ticket (paid £800+ for the ticket) that I bought through SkyScanner. Had to make at least 4 phone calls and had to spend more than 6 hours just to make one change. Majority of their customer support representatives were rude in providing their responses to the customer. It looks like they have been constrained not to provide more than two options to the customer and customer is mandated to choose one of the two options they provide in the call (irrespective of whether they like those options or not) or they are asking the customers to call them back.
I had to call the customer support twice today, the first call has been disconnected after waiting on the call for almost 90 mins (not sure if the call was disconnected intentionally) and had to make another call and wait for another 70 mins before some one picks up the call. No one from the customer support team calls you back if the call gets disconnected and you have to start the conversation with a new representative again when you call back the customer support. After waiting on the call for 3 hours today, the representative was not flexible to provide proper options to re-schedule the tickets. I have been given two itineraries for the date change that I have requested, one for which the representative was not able to provide a price and I have been asked to either to accept the second itinerary that he has provided (irrespective of whether I am interested or not) or I have been asked to call them back. After having such a pathetic experience of waiting for hours on the call to reach the customer support, who would like to call them back. So, I have been forced to take the second option for which there is a waiting time of 7 hours 45 mins during the transit and a price difference of another £140. I have waited for almost 3 hours tot reach the customer representative today, but he does not have patience to wait for few mins to make the payment and he threatens me that he will disconnect the call if I don't choose the itinerary he has provided and make the payment immediately.
With the sort of experience I had with myTrip.com so far, I have now decided to book my flight tickets in future DIRECTLY with the Airline and NOT through portals like Skyscanner or any other similar website as it is not worth spending hours of time dealing with these agents and amount of stress that they give.
I made a reservation for a (flexible ticket) return flight to Moldova to see my family for the 4th November (Booking LD0ODX).
The flight cost me around £70 so as a student - this was a substantial amount.
2 weeks before flying out, my grandparents both contracted covid-19 and so I was forced to not go; I contacted MYTRIP
Through their website and received an automated email back from them stating that I had to call them to reschedule the flight.
I called 4 times - each call would put in on the waitlist and then cut me out (on one call I was waiting for over an hour before the call suddenly dropped off).
Because of this, MYTRIP has ultimately taken my money (bear in mind that I spent extra to purchase a flexible ticket) and given no way whatsoever to reschedule the flight.
After this, I opened a case with my bank to try and get my money back however, without sufficient evidence, they were unable to help me.
PLEASE, AVOID THIS COMPANY AS THEY HAVE 0 REGARDS FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS
I bought a ticket from mytrip. My flight was canceled due to covid. The company has been hiding and has not answered my calls for 3 months.
Don't buy that cancellation protection! You think it protects your full refund when you need to cancel? You're wrong! Only when you have a medical condition! Their whole website is misleading customers about this! What's worse, the operator arrogantly said to me "Next time you agree to something online, read the terms and conditions yourself. " And the cancellation fee they charge is rediculous! I paid $320 but can only have less than $100 back! Fraud!
We have been waiting since august 2020 to get our flight ticket refunded. I has been a year now since we last heard from them. Avoid using them at any cost!
I received a message saying that my scheduled flight was cancelled my the flight operators and mytrip didn't even know about it. After being transferred to 4 agents and asking them to check the flight website. They kept assuring me the flight is on time. Finally when they realised that the flight is cancelled they told me I'll be charged 55 AUD for assistance to get the refund. I still don't understand what assistance they have provided when I was the one who told them. Thw flight was cancelled.
I was refused boarding for no legal reason, and MyTrip have been useless in supporting my refund claim. I have spent hours on the phone and writing emails, when it is their responsibility - absolutely furious - lost 600 dollars because of unprofessional staff at Tehran airport. Come on, MyTrip, this is what you're here for - step up!

I paid over £200 for a short return flight from London to Gatwick. Due to COVID, I decided not to fly.
I booked BOTH FLEXIBLE TICKET and the FLIGHT INSURANCE that is offered on checkout.
1. They informed me it would be over £100 pound to change the flights (flights currently on Skyscanner are below £30, rendering this pointless). The woman on the phone sounded like she was trying her best within what she could do, perhaps because she knew how terrible the company was herself.
2. I manually searched for flights below the £240 so that the fare difference would be less. THEN they told me that Flexible Ticket does not cover outbound flights? And that changing the return would still cost £69? Even though this fare WAS MUCH LOWER.
3. They said to contact Norwegian Air, but Norwegian Air REFUSE to handle anything with MyTrip and refer you back to MyTrip.
I can assure MyTrip that I will a.) be posting as many reviews as I can to prevent other people falling for their scam 2) be expecting some kind of refund asap.if not, I will pursue legal action as I have a friend who specialises in customer rights.
I look forward to your reply so I do not have to put you through this trouble,

Their website states you cannot cancel your flight but right before you book the flight they state you can cancel within 24hrs. If you do try to cancel within 24hrs they will direct you to the airlines. After you call the airlines and then call mytrip for your refund they will claim you cannot cancel or that you're past the 24hr period. If you try to dispute the charge with your bank they will just tell the bank that the webpage states you cannot cancel. Totally different from what you see when you actually purchase a ticket. There's a reason they are so cheap. Avoid these scammers.

Calling call center asking for booking changes. Waited for 40mins, someone answered and asking for information, after searching for my bookings, she put me on hold for another 30mins, then a guy answered and ask for booking number again, then told me that there's errors on his computer and need to transfer me to another department, this time I was on hold for more than an hour and I gave up. Nothing was being resolved. Mytrip is the worst agency I have encounter, I will definitely not using Mytrip again. I think it is a total scam. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY

After 4 months of back and forth with MyTrip along with complaining to DOT, I have received my full refund of $ 1,1016. 05! You do not believe me, just try it yourself! All the best ladies and gentlemen... I hope every single individual booked a trip or business with Mytrip to receive their refund. It is only fair!
I booked my return flight ticket from ticket from toronto to Vancouver. On the day of the flight they cancelled the tickets without any prior notice and the worst is to deal with the cx service. They are extremely rude and disconnect the time at any time of the call. It's a big fraud going on just on one sentence written on the tickets.
One thing I would like to share if Flight network refuses to give you the refund as they did in my case and you have all the proofs. You can dispute the charges from the bank's end. I usually deal with TD and they refunded the charges of the flight. They fought from my end.
So if anybody is facing the same issue go ahead and dispute it from your bank's end.

Mytrip should be banned from operating as a travel agency. We cancelled our tickets the same day we bought them. The airline is very helpful but the agency is trying every possible trick to not issue a refund.
The worst service EVER HAD. 2 hours on waiting line every time, to speak to somebody in india telling you, we will come back to you as soon as possible.
Which they didnt! I bought a cancellation policy, provided medical certificate and all what required, inquired several times on the status and they still did Not act, they are making me lose my money.
