I booked a return flight from Toronto, Canada to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I paid a normal price with no deal to be had. I could not use my departure portion of the flight as I had an emergency to attend to in Florida one month before my departure. I flew down on another flight and remained in Florida until the return flight scheduled on my ticket with My Trip. As a courtesy to My Trip I called to advise them that I would not be able to use my departure portion of the scheduled flight. I was not expecting any compensation as I had booked a basic flight. They told me that if I didn't show up at the airport for the departure flight the entire ticket would be cancelled and I would lose my flight home. I immediately contacted West Jet who agreed to remove my departure on the ticket and the return would remain as is, only if My Trip would agree. West Jet placed a note on there system however My Trip would not co-operate or make any changes. I pleaded and advised of all details regarding the emergency however no one was interested in listening to me even after West Jet agreed to co-operate. Terrible customer service and only money grabbers with no empathy whatsoever. I completely lost the entire amount of the flight and had to book another return flight home. They could have easily revised their records to show only a return flight and receive full payment for a two way flight. I will never use My Trip again.

Customer agent providing incorrect information and the person behind making the booking to the airline was incorrect,. The main issue was I purchased 2 adults and 1 child flight tickets and they sent me a confirmation email with the correct inofrmation but sent the wrong information to Wizz Airline and had selected my child as an adult which caused issues with me checking in as it wouldn't work due to her DOB being a child. I spent 2 hours on calls from My trip and Wizz to rectify and was given false information from MyTrip that it was Wizz's fault. Wizz was able to rectify it by changing adult to child and advised that's how MyTrip processed it in the back end. The agent that was shockingly uneducated with their processes was called Jenil P and when I called back to make a complaint Abhisek delayed me from making a complaint. Promised a manager call but we will see. I want my £14.50 in phone calls from calling Wizz Air back but I won't hold my breath. I will never use them again!

They charged double the amount that was shown on the ticket and are not refunding it.

Directly after booking my flight, the luggage was cancelled and I had to manually re-book it with all airlines. Mytrip did neither assist nor refund any of its 500 Euro service fee.
Their bogus customer service did nothing.

Ok, let me explain in a simple way: mytrip.com is all good if u r looking for a good travel deal and assuming everything is going to be alright until u get on board.
BUT
If any unexpected things happen like a situation where u can't travel, then things will be extremely terrible with mytrip.
One week before my flight, I met up with an accident. The first thing I did was to email them to help me either to cancel or change the dates. Each request u place will take at least two days to get any response and the response will be absolutely useless. It's been a week so far since this ping pong game is going on. My flight I'd tomorrow and until today, my flight tickets Are not cancelled. I am expect a 3k USD loss due to this terrible service from mytrip. I even tried to call them to their expensive UK number but always I was on hold for 15-20 minutes. I had to disconnect as the call from Singapore was rediculously expensive.
So guys, a small advice: avoid them! A few bucks great flight deal is worthless as their customer service is extremely rediculous

Days turned into weeks of handfuls of phonecalls and emails trying to contact this bogus business to help us change flights. After wasting 10+ hours on these crooks I ended up changing with the airline directly and paying more money--literally the day before our plan took off.
Mytrip then contact afterwards and said they were sorry for their BS. I demanded a refund... below is their reply. However, I haven't seen any of this money returned, so either Moemen has a very skewed version of time---"days" means months and months---or this company which believes in customer service and long lasting relationships should be shut down immediately for fraud.

With the outbreak of coronavirus I wanted to cancel my flight, the only way to do so is through the booking company, BUT I CAN'T GET AHOLD OF ANYONE! So now I am left with $800 worth of tickets to an area that has announced a state of emergency and facing a deadly pandemic! My lesson is definitely review before you buy. This site is a SCAM!
I had a terrible experience with MyTrip travel agency. I booked a flight through them from Mex to Las Cabos, but upon arriving at the airport, I was informed that I could not board the flight due to overbooking. This caused me to miss my connection flight t to Vancouver and disrupted my travel plans.
Despite multiple attempts to contact their customer service team and submitting all the necessary documentation to support my claim for a refund, MyTrip failed to process my refund or compensate me for the inconvenience caused. It's unacceptable for a travel agency to book more tickets than the number of seats available on a flight, and even more so when they fail to provide the necessary support to rectify the situation.
I would not recommend MyTrip to anyone and would advise caution when booking through them. Their lack of professionalism and failure to honor their commitment to customers is extremely disappointing. I hope they take immediate action to rectify this situation and provide better customer service in the future.
Paid for flexible ticket with mytrip, when they rescheduled my flight to a new date for Paris to Melbourne they changed the route to go from Paris to Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh to Melbourne as this was all that was available and neglected to tell me I would need a visa for Vietnam to do this, as I wouldn't be leaving the airport in Vietnam I didn't think to check myself. Ended up stranded in Charles de Gaulle airport after the airline told me I couldn't board the plane and that mytrip should have informed me I needed to prepare a visa, as I couldn't get an immediate visa I ended up paying for a new flight home, when I spoke to mytrip customer service all they could tell me was there was absolutely nothing they could or would do. Horrible experience, would not recommend mytrip to anyone, will never use their service again.
Difficult to get the actual tickets and too many extra charge options
China Airlines canceled two of our return flights. China Airlines said they were not trained correctly and to call Jennifer to learn how to use the correct code so rebooking doesn't cost more. 50 minutes dealing with China Airlines, understandable with 2 calls. Hours and hours trying to get mytrip.com to rebook our flights and still nothing has been done. I'm talking 7 hours on hold so far and dealing with agents that have been outsourced from India. I would never ever use this travel agency again. Hours and hours on hold. This place should not be in business. I'm so upset and angry. A trip abroad should be a wonderful experience. Not with MyTrip.com. China Airlines would me replacement flights in just a few minutes, but mytrip can't see them on their end. I requested that a supervisor call me back twice, and nothing. It's so broken I don't know what to do. I spent $3,700 US dollars on tickets. If I cancel, based on other reviews, I feel like I will spend 20 hours to get my money back and it will include a penalty. A company like this should not be in operation, they are destroying our vacation two months before it even happens.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! NEVER AGAIN! I attempted to buy the flight and when I was processing the payment, I got a notice that there was an error with the payment. I tried again and I got the notice that there was an error with the payment AGAIN!
I hence gave up and proceeded with buying the flight from elsewhere. However, when I checked my email, I realised that mytrip had actually processed the payment after all! I now have paid for two tickets of the same flight. I tried calling their '24 hour service' right after i received the email (16:37). They left me on the line for 57 minutes and then the line fell. I tried again at about 18:30. This time they left me on the line for 24 minutes. I managed to get through the following morning only to be told that i should have contacted them immediately and that now its not possible to cancel booking. They didnt even offer to refund their commission. Finally they asked me for the proof of the payment problem notice which unfortunately I didnt take a screen shot of. Never ever again mytrip! TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
