I signed up for a $2.95 access, them cancelled as per website wording. They have been debiting my account at random times $35 monthly, it mid monthly (so as not to notice) no email receipts or any correspondence. Have contacted bank cancelled card and disputing all this theft for a refund

Ripped off

Without even knowing they took a monthly fee from my account after only wanting a trial of their product. Wouldn't trust them ever again. I do not recommend using them unless you want to loose $35 a month

When I attempted to cancel my subscription, I had to navigate through several pages, but still failed to cancel as the confirmation button was displayed in an inconspicuous corner of the website, which made it difficult to notice. It appeared that the merchant wanted to prevent users from canceling without their knowledge. Unfortunately, I was charged for an additional four months without receiving any notification from the website. This experience was very frustrating for me. However, I was able to find another resume website with similar functions that I found to be more effective. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this particular resume website.

The company advertises itself as free, however, I was aware that there may be hidden costs. After spending time constructing my resume, I was prompted for payment, which did not come as a shock. I am familiar with sad, dishonest online companies. However, what was irritating was the lack of information about the types of payments allowed. Accepting only credit cards as payment, causing my time to be wasted. Despite speaking to a chat agent named Esteban M, and expressing my frustration, the agent apologized and stated there was nothing that could be done. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, the agent ignored the request and instead asked if I had a credit card. As a result of using their "service", my time was wasted, I experienced poor customer service, and feel that the company's lack of transparency with fees and payment options is bad business. The fault was theirs, yet I took the loss.

Good at first

I was looking to fix up my resume to start my job search, the website did the job perfectly so there was no need to use the site anymore since I got what I needed. I canceled the subscription, downloaded my resume, and used it. A few weeks later I get a charge for around 20 dollars. I get back on the website and cancel once again just for my account to be still active. I gave them a phone call the day of receiving the notification of the charge and all they could give me is a half refund since I didn't notify them the day of being charged. It was impossible since I got the charge at 10 am and called them at 4 pm. After going back and forth they offered to lower the subscription, to which I said no. They offered me a job, but I said no. I once again asked if I could get a full refund since I canceled weeks prior and he just said I should've asked for a refund the same day. There's no possible way of me receiving the notification, to go back in time and ask for a refund. I asked the same day. Only get half back. There are other options out there other than MyPerfectResume.

I cancelled my subscription and request customer service cancel my account. I provided the information via email to customer service, to have this cancellation done before the initial subscription ended, but my credit card was still charged.

I find this very depressing and disappointing, and you are not given a confirmation of cancelation.

No problem creating a great resume. Relatively easy to learn. The problem comes after your low $2.95 initial payment for 14 days.
As far as I can tell, editing the resume requires you to pay a monthly or annual fee. So YOUR resume is held captive by the company. I've not been able to change one thing without being on THEIR website.
