I wanted to get started on a new project today, only to be met with all of these dialogue boxes asking me to log in, etc etc. Now I can't even get into the "create a new family tree" screen without the product freeing up and crashing!

For the serious-minded Genealogist, MyHeritage makes researching, reviewing, and creating a Family Tree the most simple and accurate. With access to the largest database, there is no reason to have to search for other places to find your ancestors. The feature I like the best is the direct line of your family is the main tree, but you can point to any member to expand their branch of their family to see their tree. If you should have any difficulties, their Customer Service people are the best and empowered to make decisions and give you answers.
Vandaag contact met Stefanie omdat ik niet kon inloggen op mijn stamboom. Klaarblijkelijk had ik 2 accounts aangemaakt waarvan ik een niet meer gebruikte. Mogelijk in het begin mee geoefend. Stefanie heeft mij keurig geholpen, nieuw wachtwoord online aangemaakt en oude account verwijderd. Prima service (moest wel lang telefonisch wachten voor ik aan de beurt was).

Problem solved in one minute. Removeing the chr, &, solved the problem. This came together with upgrade in june?
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team (support@myheritage.com).

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to support@myheritage.com and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
