MyBuilder is an excellent site for getting those jobs around the house carried out or if you are a property investor as I am, for finding workman for various jobs that need to be carried out. I needed a boiler repair man urgently and put a post out on MyBuilder late last night. I woke up this morning and had 5 heating engineers willing to estimate or discuss the job. I managed to have the work carried out this morning without making hundreds of phone calls and the workman I choose had 100% feedback and I added to this with the same feedback. From my experience MyBuilder is a trustworthy site which is well worth using
My builder service ok, but builder (Kinghorn Construction) disappointing, delayed start date, then no contact from builder for 4 weeks, causing me to have to restart getting quotes from other builders. Very disappointed with lack of professional & communication standards from builder.
I found a builder on the my builder site very quickly ( had 4 builders show interest in just a couple of days)
The one we decided to proceed with seems to be very friendly and appears to know what he is doing
I have used the site multiple times, being able to read reviews has helped pick trades for the jobs, having completed a major house renovation in the last year it has been invaluable, and the best trades that we have had working for us have all came from the mybuilder service.
I am pleased to write an excellent reference on behalf of Gary Townley who repaired our wooden porch door and painted the new wood. The old wood had rotted in places and the repair looks like new. He was prompt and efficient and I would recommend him to others without hesitation.
I completed the form with as much information as I could in order to get the right builders to quote rather than wasting both our time. 4 builders got back to me within 2 days which was satisfactory. All builders were professional in their responses. I was please with the simplicity of the whole process. I also felt that the site was safe and confidential. Happy to recommend this business.
I have used mybuilder three times now and in each case I have been really pleased. You post the job and very quickly a number of tradesmen respond. You can shortlist them and get them to come round for a quote. Then you make your decision. It is quick and simple and you can give feedback for future potential customers... I felt more confident and the site was very easy to use.
I have found My Builder to be a terrific site, when searching for a specific trades person it is easy to use and any interested people are quick to respond. I have hired 3 different tradesmen and after researching their profiles and reviews I have been very pleased with both the quality of their work and their reliability which is very important to me.

This site really helped me get the work done on a couple of jobs I had been struggling to find trades for. Instead of me having to find numbers, leave messages, chase people they came to me. It meant I had properly interested parties in doing the work and I found them to be courteous and hard working. The messaging system works well once you get to grips with it or you can swap contact details once you have hired someone. It took me a little while to get to grips with the communication but once up and running it was great.
I will definitely use this site again.
Only invite businesses you intend to use though as they get charged and don't then have the opportunity to quote.

I've been using MyBuilder as a tradey for about two years, it was tough at first but I now find nearly all my work through it. These types of sites are never perfect but this is by far the best one out there
Alex Burton builders who are sdvertisrd on my builders. Quoted 350 for fixing our guttering which was leaking badly. They came and after 2 attempts. It stiĺl wasnt fixed. Now we cannot get through to them and the guttering is dreadful. Chasing this up through citizens advise. Very fed up
They did an excellent job of making our garage look top-notch (replacing the fascias / guttering / window / door) in uPVC.
As a company, their customer service was just excellent and the finished product has put a smile on our faces.
The price is what Ste says it will be (all properly written and drawn up) and no sudden extras and they turn up when they say they will turn up and get stuck in.
You can't go wrong if you use them and will be pleased.

Until I discovered MyBuilder.com, I found it so difficult to find good workmen in my area and work that was done was done badly or massively overcharged.
Finding MyBuilder.Com has been fantastic for me. The ratings system and feedback process means that you can find really good honest workman with a proven track record. It is really easy to use. I have used MyBuilder.Com to find electrician, handymen, plumber and each one has been has been excellent. They have all done a brilliant job, been honest and hardworking and very fair prices. It really has made my life so much easier and I know that when I move house I will still be able to find really good workmen thanks to MyBuilder.Com.
The company has a no refund policy it means they can send you leads you pay them and hey presto the customer doesn't want the work carried out anymore. A change of heart a dreamer, or I think I will get my husband to do it whatever the reason there is no work to quote for. You contact them expecting to be at least credited but no it's there policy not to refund under any circumstances. The company completely absolves itself of any responsibility. I'm not even sure if such a policy is actually legal. Anyhow be warned the amount of leads this happened was close to 50% there are plenty of providers out there who operate a fairer system using theses cowboys left me feeling like I had been scammed.

I have used this site on several occasions when stumped with finding someone to do a job. Brilliant idea, easy to use and the tradesmen have always been excellent and their work of a high standard. All of the quotes have been competitive. Now my 'go to' place if I need something fixing.
So sign up for 12 months getting work 95% positive feedback from over 800 customers decide to go to Ltd with company and my builder decide they don't want me as a ltd company on there ok no big deal except they have taken my cash for plenty of bogus jobs and cost me money in long run couldn't tell people enough to avoid them
