I have uses my builder for several tradesmen from garden work to odd jobs about the house. I would highly recommend this site. I trust my builder and the tradesmen who advertise on there. It's quick and easy to find a tradesman and to review feedback left by others who have used them. The feedback system gives peace of mind when choosing to hire a tradesman. I wouldn't go anywhere else to find a recommended tradesmen. Love this site and I've had only positive experiences.

My builder is a rip off tie tradesman. Great for the customer as all they see is "it's free"! Not for tradesman that pay for leads that doesn't even guarantee the job.
For example small jobs that a tradesman can only charge £20 at the most, mybuilder.com ask for £4 plus vat. Now for the tradesman to travel and do the job then pay mybuilder.com price plus vat really isn't worth a fart for a tradesman that would normally happily help out and do it at a reasonable price.
Ok mybuilder say they've done the advertising leg work for you but they price the leads way off! Especially when the job poster doesn't explain the job properly.
It's cost me hundreds on leads from meeting with customers that have changed their minds sunce and actually don't want the job doing any more.
Definitely not worth the cost in my opinion.

The tradesman have always done a satisfactory job and the process has been very easy.

I had just advertise the job, get several quotes, look at the feedback and hire. It is difficult to find reputable companies and my builder takes away the stress of finding someone.

The people on the site need good reviews in order to grow there business so you get a good quality of tradesman.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the site

Trevor Messenger and his young helper did a fantastic job retailed the shower area and fitted the shower in a very short time a very tidy workman cleared away everything and left the house clean and tidy A+++++

This site is fantastic for me. I am a Landlady and am always looking for professional, reliable tradesmen for a variety of jobs (sometimes at short notice). I like the fact that you can choose who to invite to quote for jobs, without the hassle of tradesmen phoning me without an invite. I study all the reviews before I accept a tradesman to quote. This gives me confidence that a particular tradesman works to a high standard and is reliable. I have found a good few tradesmen on this site who I will definitely use again. I really don't know how I managed without using this site before - genius idea!

I am a tradesman as Gas Safe registered engineer. My Builder makes money by charging shortlist to tradesman. The job worth £100 the shortlist fee is £5. If there are 5 tradesman supplied the quote and if customer select all 5 of them then all 5 tradesman will be charged £5 wether you get the job or not. As a tradesman you will be invoice for £5 but you have now no job but still you to pay for it as customer shortlisted you. So my builder would make £25 from tradesman a job costing not more than £100. This is recently i experienced. I think this company is not doing legitimate business conning the tradesman who work hard to earn money. On the other hand making customer write positve feedback about the company. I request tradesman be very careful when opting for leads which may surprised you with fat invoice.

Having bought a house in need of some TLC last year have used MyBuilder to find both a good plumber and electrician. Adverting a job is easy and within a few hours had interested tradesmen, a few messages and phone calls and all arranged. Supports local companies and helps the good guys and avoids falling for cowboys.

I have used My Builder.com on three occasions so far this year and found this was the easiest and most convenient way to find tradesmen for the jobs I required doing rather than having to look on Yell.com or in my local newspaper or trade guide to locate tradesmen and then to have to ring them and wait for them to visit my home in most instances before quoting for a job.
I will not hesitate to use this site again for future jobs I require doing.
