I purchased a cub cadet online from mowers direct. I needed service 2 times for warranty issues. No one will touch the mower for 7 to 8 weeks. The local repair quys do not want to touch it. Your better off paying a few dollars more and being able to have it serviced. I even offered to fix myself, but they will not give me the parts. Buy local!
I purchased string trimmer from Mowers Direct. They offered a free shipping. I paid the price plus sales tax. It was a wrong item and I returned it back. I paid $249.99 plus 15.62 tax, the refund I received is $ 232.24. They explained what they not returning the money shipping ( shipping was free). Stay away from this company!
I ordered a soil aerator on Monday and received it on Thursday. From Illinois to Texas in four days? Everything received was in working order and I out the aerator together in ten minutes and began to chew up my compressed soil soon after. On my way to a beautiful coastal field with no issues. I have been on hold for over 20 minutes to try to buy a $3,000.00 mower. Sales; on hold for 20 minutes? I've decided to heed the warnings of all the other poor reviews and shop elsewhere. When a representative finally came on the line and we talked about delivery? "Will you need some help getting it off of the truck?" Me - "Doesn't the truck come with a lift gate?" Rep - "Yes, but that'll cost you another $50.00" STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY
This site states this product is in stock and ships in 2-4 days. It stated that on 11-09-200 as well.
Here it is on 12-18-20 and still not shipped!
Every two weeks I contact them and they state it will ship in a couple more weeks.
Same thing happened this summer when I purchased a hoover mower, I should have learned my lesson.

Had a problem, which I believe is something simple, on a 2 month old Honda walk behind mower that has been used maybe half a dozen time. Called up and was told can offer no assistance in troubleshooting. Like none, zero. Told that I could take to a local service center, which happens to be the shop I will purchase a mower at next time. Don't waste your money here, buy local.
In September 2020, I purchased a Cub Cadet self propelled SC-300-IP 159cc lawn mower for 369.99 plus tax. Shipment was received in about ten days with no obvious defects. Unfortunately, I moved and did not unpack and assemble the lawn mower until early October. I noticed the gas cap and one small metal screw were missing. I contacted MD and they advised the parts would be ordered and delivered to my new address asap. Waited for two weeks before receiving confirmation the part was ordered and they shipped it to my old address. New homeowner denies receiving the parts. MD admittted their error and said a new order was completed. Late October contacted them and they advised the part would arrive 11/02/2020. Nothing arrived. Also noticed I never received the Cub Cadet confirmation as emailed with the first order. MD advised, that was unnecessary as this was a priority order. Guaranteed it would arrive 11/05/2020. It never arrived. Emailed the company again with no response. I will end up spending $25.00 for the part and shipping available on the Cub Cadet site. Of course, if I was aware of getting jerked around by MD, I would have returned the mower, or ordered a gas cap in October. They are very nice on the telephone, but completely incompetent. Totally upset with the customer no- service received from Mowers Direct. I like the Cub Cadet product and should have gone to Lowes or Home Depot. Buyer beware. They suck.
I purchased a Toro zero turn mower and three accessory parts. All but one item was in stock. They held up the shipping on the mower because the one part was on backorder. The part was on backorder for three weeks. The parts were being shipped buy another company but held up for the backorder on one part. I was on the phone 45 minutes due to abnormal amount of phone calls. I tried calling on two different days same results both times. I found out that the local Toro dealer was the same price, including delivery and assembly. The dealer had everything in stock.
If I could give this zero start I would. We ordered a Mulching Kit Model #139-3265 from Mowers Direct. Did you know that the picture shown is just a generic picture. It doesn't say this anywhere on the site. The pictures shows three blades, a bafflers and two other parts that I am unsure of the correct name. Needless to say we were missing parts. When I called the company, they told me that the picture was a an old picture. After a conversation with their parts expert, we were informed that this kit was the wrong kit and the right kit was on backorder. To show items that you will not receive is bad business and horrible representation. After we requested a refund they told us that we had to pay to ship the wrong product back to them. Total waste of time, I will never shop there again! Beware.
Purchased brand new Echo PE 225 Edger *******@250.00. Unit arrived on 9/14/20. Prepped it and on third pull of starter rope the engine locked down and won't budge. Total junk. Forget about calling customer service. I was on hold for more than 35 minutes and finally hang up. No way to get through to the company. I'm stuck with a piece of junk and the worst service ever. Stick with Home Depot. Their edgers work and their customer service really does serve the customer. Be warned of these scammers.
Easy ordering, good price, and great delivery make a wonderful combination. I could not find the specific zero turn mower I wanted locally and decided to look on the internet. Found Mowers Direct and couldn't be happier with my choice. Everything went smoothly and FAST. The delivery company, SAIA, was in constant contact with me vie email and internet. I was able to track the tractor from hub to hub and delivery only took a few days from Chicago to the east coast. Driver was on-time and could not have been nicer. Tractor came in perfect condition.
I paid $869.99 for a Honda HRX217HZA self-propelled lawnmower with electric start.
Opened the box took the mower couldn't find the key. I sent them an email that I didn't get a key. You can't start it without one. They sent me an email back that they would start a missing parts claim and send me one. I sent my email on 8-1-20 they responded on 8-10-20. Well here it is August 17th still no key. You think they could have put one into the mail ASAP. Nope.
So I have one coming from eBay that will be here tomorrow. Maybe I'm old school but I still think that customer service is #1 in any business.

My husband ordered a 34" zero turn cub cadet from them. He payed more than a 40". We got it late. Put gas in and hooked up the battery. It mowed but it left long grass in spots. Very inconsistent. I contacted mowers direct and they blew me off. Said it wasn't their problem. So we decided to take it to a local store that was a cub cadet dealership. We had to jumpstart the battery just to get it on the trailer. They said the mower was over a year old, the blades were shot, and the battery was junk. Mower direct should be put out of business. I am contacting the better business bureau and asking our lawyer to look into legal action about them!
I bought a Toro Timesaver zero clearance riding mower from them. The price was good. I received the mower with torn seat. Spent over 35 minutes on hold and finally hung up. Emailed them and never received a response. Emailed again with no response.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have yet to talk to or hear by email from anybody over there.

I first prayed to the Lord, upon helping me with this decision. We all should do daily, including myself. It is all HIS property, we may just have "possession" of some of it, & some of what sits on it. By HIS grace we are blessed.
I don't understand some of these peoples horrible experiences, with Mowers Direct.
Mine was very good. I bought the Hasqvarna zero turn Z254 -54" cut mower for $2,900. There is no where in southern Kentucky or northern Tennessee, that will have these big brand names & very low prices.
All around here, 46"-48" cut, $5,000-$6,000. Mowers Direct, more inches of cut & a couple thousand dollars $2,000-$3,000 cheaper. The price you see, is what you pay, except taxes, shipping is free.
Around here locally, you buy & delivery fee, your near by home town, couple hundred dollars fee, on top of mower price.
Order was submitted, 7-10 working day delivery. Got at warehouse, near home town. Scheduled my delivery from there & was in my front yard next day. Me & my son installed seat, installed steering handles, easy installation & put gas in it & mowed 2-1/2 acres, with no problems, performed very good & great smooth-clean cut. Very happy about my business with Mowers Direct. Praise the Lord. Everyone have a blessed day. JESUS STILL SAVING SOULS...
I will try to be brief. I purchased this Lawn Mower July 19,2019 from one of the local "reputable box stores". I liked the mower at first use but became concerned when I could not figure out how to adjust the handlebar but went ahead anyhow and decided I would address that in the next Springtime. Also, the drive belt failed after approximately 9 hours of use and since it was the last cut in late October, I decided to store the mower until the Springtime. I was told by a Honda CS Rep that the handlebar was not adjustable. So, after 9 hours of use the drive belt failed and I had to pay to have it repaired. To summarize; I like the Honda engine and the twin blades (the service center did not sharpen since I did not request it) and I like the self-propelled feature. However, if Honda agreed to take this mower back and refund me 80 percent of the purchase price, I would do that immediately. PS. I tried to add photo of my receipt, but the computer somehow would not let me. Sincerely,

I GOT A NEW SNAPPER. IN ORDER FOR YOU TO TEST IT, YOU HAVE TO PUT OIL AND GAS IN IT, RIGHT? THE FLYWHEEL CLICKS. I CALLED BRIGGS & STRATTON AND THEY SAID RETURN IT. BUT MOWERS DIRECT STATES ONCE YOU OIL AND GAS IT, YOU CANNOT RETURN IT! NOW I AM STUCK WITH A $500.00 DEFECTIVE ENGINE LAWN MOWER! I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT REVIEWS BEFORE I BOUGHT FROM THESE SCAMMERS.
Mower deck always needs repair and can't get parts. Mower shipped with a lesser engine than the one I paid for. Crooks
Said I needed a lift gate for delivery. (50.00) dollars. SAIA never delivered. Had to pic up myself 37miles away. Called mowers direct twice and they said they would reimburse. Haven't seen new contract removing the 50.00 Don't trust them
I bought a riding mower in the winter on sale. I went to open it up in the spring and noticed a fork lift hole through the box. Fortunately I had taken photos of the unload and it was there prior to removal from truck. I called in and was told - after 30 days - take a hike guy. And he happened to be the manager - imagine - how fortunate to have reached the manager on my first call. These guys website presents thinking you are working with professional people. I could have bought the newer version with better features for $200 less. Stay away! Too risky. I just learned take this risk with $25 items, but not with $4,000 items. Scumbags.
Answer: You should be. I bought mine locally and love it. The mower if fabulous. Mowerdirect.com is a nightmare.
