These guys are crooks. I cancelled my warranty, received a confirmation that after 9/25/21 no further bank drafts would be made from my checking account. On 10/27/21, they indeed drafted my checking account and when contacted refused to return my money. Time to get an attorney!

I purchased an Echo PE-225 Edger from a distributor. The units engine locked down on 3rd pull of the starter cord. For three weeks Echo-USA and their distributor (Mowers Direct) have done nothing but be totally dishonest and neither of them will support the product. I called all the way up to Echo corporate office and was given the same run around I've been getting for the past three weeks..."I'm passing this issue up to Management and it will be handled. I've always purchased either Stihl or Husqvarna power equipment but decided to give Echo a try. My advice... stay far away from Echo product. It is inferior and you WILL not have the support of the manufacturer. Neither they nor their distributors will support. I'm out of 254.00 bucks. Very expensive lesson.
Purchased brand new Echo PE 225 Edger for@250.00. Unit arrived on 9/14/20. Prepped it and on third pull of starter rope the engine locked down and won't budge. Total junk. Forget about calling customer service. I was on hold for more than 35 minutes and finally hang up. No way to get through to the company. I'm stuck with a piece of junk and the worst service ever. Stick with Home Depot. Their edgers work and their customer service really does serve the customer. Be warned of these scammers.
Ordered an item almost a month ago. Advertised that item would ship within 5 days. Almost a month later I called for status and was told that the item was out of stock at the manufacturer. If I had not called, I wouldn't have known. Highly unlikely that I'll order from them again. Looking at the historic poor reviews, I wish I'd listened...
