Like an idiot I purchased the Husqvarna 7021P on June 5th. I love the mower should have purchased somewhere else. PED sent me the machine that they knew was assembled wrong. They ordered parts but, still the parts have not arrived. It's been 3 weeks still have a mower i can't use. I should have returned the mower and went to Home Depot and got a mower there. At least I know I could use it out of the box.

Received our mower. Poured in gasoline and it ran out from the air cleaner. Called mower direct the same day it was delivered and they said it was now my responsibility to spend the time and money to get it fixed. It has never even been operated once. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Stay away form MowersDirect at all costs. Horrible company.

Wrong mower

Finally got refund 12 days later after they sent me the wrong one and told me they no longer had the one I wanted! Don't buy from this company its not worth the hassle or you time.

Terrible place dont buy from them sent me the wrong mower. I believe they do this alot and home owners dont realize. Sell you one description with a good honda mower and you get the base model. Tried to get the actual one I wanted and they said they no longer have that model. Its been 10 days and no refund yet. Buy from anywhere else

Issue resolved
June 13, 2017

I submitted a complaint yesterday regarding mowers direct and synchrony financial. Since that time, they have both had a change of heart. I got a partial refund or at least a promise of one from mowers direct. And a Credit is being issued from synchrony financial corporate offices. It's unfortunate that I could not work with customer service and have this resolved immediately

Waited a week for a cub cadet rear engine rider and when it finally arrived it was half out of the box with parts all over. I refused delivery and called them. They are sending me a new one but you would think to keep a customer happy they'ed rush it. They didn't even bother calling back. I'll never use them again.

Too expensive

Mowers Direct charged me the factory price of $199.99 for a Greenworks mower. I later found out I could have purchased the same mower from Amazon for $142.00 and a shipping time of less than half that of MD.

I'm currently trying to get my order from Mowers Direct but we are still waiting. When I ordered the mower the stated delivery date was for Friday and now its turned into Monday. I called MD and the customer service lady was basically telling me it was my fault as I should have expedited the order for Friday delivery. She also tried to blame the shipping company as it was out of MD control. She blamed everyone but MD. Not very happy with customer service so far and I probably will not purchase from them again.

Delivery was simply dumped on front porch with no attempt contact me for inspection of product therefor their is no signature for acceptance or denial of delivery. Box was delivered sealed with no obvious signs of damage to box, when opened it was discovered right rear wheel with axle and height adjustments parts not installed. Not only were they not installed, the parts were thrown loose in bottom of box with no attempt at packaging them or including directions on how to install wheel assembly. Who knows if they shipped all or the proper parts Therefore I will be returning mower and expect 100% refund because - #1... No opportunity to inspect package for acceptance or refusal. - #2... Visa chargeback code # 30 - #3... Improper disclosure of return policy by Visa merchant.

Great service

I had a dilemma. I was leaning toward a ZTR because of all of our trees, but my wife preferred a steering wheel. I spoke with Jennifer at Mowers Direct, she helped me pick the Husqvarna U turn 46 inch with a very short turn radius (6 inch). We closed the deal, the mower arrived in 3 days in a crate, unpacked hooked up the battery, added gas and started mowing. Works AWESOME and a good price.

I ordered the best push mower they had( a husqvarna hu800awdx bbc) and they sent it... with bent height adjusters and I run a business... with mowers and that was supposed to be a new one to try out... so I called them and the lady I talked to was very nice, very direct and seemed great... all after that they connected me to the "mower specialist"... so he said he'd have it sent... I got an email half a week later that they finally ordered it when they told me they ordered it like 4 days before and then I asked how long it should take and he said "5 to 7 days" so I asked from what day... then he said from Friday so I thought "okay whatever 5 to 7 days"... another email I then got said 7 to 10 days... apparently that means business days but we'll see Tuesday because that's the 10th business day. They have been an absolute nightmare to deal with and I expected a ton more from a business that's supposed to be professionals and especially after I spend about 750 dollars there they have truly treated me pretty damn bad keep backing up the date yet they keep apologizing. If they're that sorry they would've sent it priority mail, not 10 business days

Had to order 3 times and every time my order was cancelled but they charged my account 3 times which after 2 weeks I still haven't received my 3184$. Costumer service is rude telling me I was never charged even though I have to deal with my bank now. Very bad business

I just ordered my first Cub Cadet XT1 LT50 mower for our first home as a family yesterday. I paid the extra $50 for same day, ordered a snow plow, weight kit and chains all in the same order. They are based in IL and I am in Western Maryland and the thing is already in Ohio and should be here Monday. The soonest Home Depot said they'd have it here is the freaking 13th thru the 19th and they didn't have the plow and chains in stock! Secondly, you folks need to realize they are not a DEALER of these brands. They are a retail distributor with no obligations to fulfill warranties, so stop complaining about that! Third, when AAAANNNNYYYTHHHIINNG comes off a truck, who is NOT affiliated with the seller, you need to take 5 minutes and check the package before signing your damn name! These folks have a very small window of opportunity to file a claim with the freighter for damages. Return shipping, again, they are at the mercy of the freighter. I have contacted Jeremy twice by email, he has answered all my questions clearly and now all I have to do is be patient and wait to get the package from Saia Freight, get up in the truck before I unload it and check it over and if there's anything wrong, don't sign and receive it, call him and he said he will take care of it! Fingers crossed and get over yourselves and start taking care of stuff yourselves instead of expecting everyone else to.

I had the same negative issues with Mower Direct as most of the consumers that have complained on this blog. I had to work the issue through the Better Business Bureau of Chicago, VISA USA, My credit card company and the Attorney General of the State I live in. I finally got MD to back down and refund ALL my money. Their return policy does not meet the requirements of VISA USA... so if you use a VISA card for payment, work through your bank and use VISA chargeback Reason code 30... and reference improper disclosure of return policy by a Visa Merchant. I am still working with my State's Attorney General to get MD banned from selling in this state.

We bought this the YTH22V42 in Sept. We received it and started using it same day. It worked for 1 hour. We called the local Husqvarna dealer and had them look at it. The carburetor was gummed up from old fuel. We explained that it was brand new, new gas, new gas can, etc. They said it already had 38 hours on the engine so MOWERS DIRECT sold us a rebuilt mower for $1900... What a scam. I called them and tried to talk to a Manager but they transfer me into voicemail. I tried to explain what happened and they said because we didn't call them first, we went to the Husqvarna dealer, they couldn't do anything for us.? This is a scary company, who will sell something that's used and market it as new. Buyer beware. Seriously.

Purchase your outdoor equipment at a big box store or business who stocks your preferred brand. It is not worth saving sales tax and free shipping. This company should train their employees to understand their own return policies. Disrespectful also.

I bought a reel push mower from this company. I assembled it pretty easily, but when I tried to raise the height of the blades, the bolts you had to unscrew were impossible to open. I had already tossed the box, so I called the company and asked them to send me a box. They said they didn't have any! Really. So I had to buy my own, disassemble the mower, and send it off. Needless to say, I should have just gone to Home Depot. You live and learn.

We waited on the delivery, it never came. The next day, it finally did but was missing parts. Now after contacting them for the second time, it has been 10 more days but nothing has been done. My advice to you is RUN from this site if you are even thinking of a purchase from them. Their customer service sucks, and I will probably have to sue them to get the missing part of our mower. Wish I had bought from Home Depot or Lowes, at least they have to address you as they are brick and mortar not a piece of crap online bunch of horse hockey site who promises and does not deliver, on time or otherwise.

I spent almost $2,000 on a tow behind mower. I had paid the $50.00 extra for the rush shipping and it was shipped the day after it was ordered. Definitely not worth it at all.
I was not very happy with the situation and contacted MD just to be talked to rudely. I tried to cancel and was told if I did it would be $350.00 to pay for freight making it difficult to even return. I believe this is the way they make a profit. I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN!
