Belive me if could post on their site i would however thank u site jabber first off i bought a riding mower from direct mower (P E D). THE FIRST ONE CAME DAMAGED BY THE SHIPPER. The second one came in about 5 days later with issues. The intake and the engine guard were both damaged bent, warped what ever so i contacted them (mowers direct). I was asked if i put gas in it I said yes because that was the only way to see the engine damage while the intake is spining on top. Heres where it gets interesting. They told me to take it to a service center to have it looked at. Howerer we me and them called three or four service centers no one wanted to touch the mower with out being paid frist! When they found out it was bought on the net they all! Refused to look at it. Buyer beware local dealers dont or rather i say very reluctant to deal with any thing bought off the net. I just paid 1700 dollars for something that dosent work kept calling coustomer service trying to find some one to service it> The managers their are no HELP! And very arogant all i heard was well were not taking it back because you put gas in it. How in the hell would i have found the problem with out puting gas in it! Please be carefull local shops feel your taking away from them trying to make a living buy purchasing on line and once the find out you purchased on line and need service they shut you down and rightly so. After i see how i was treated after a online purchase. Anyhow i found a honest briggs and stratton guy who looked at it and didnt judge me for where i bought it and fixed it for me. Lets see no i had to borow a trailer three times gas in my truck 2# days off early from work and nothing from the company in the form of any compensation for the inconvenace they told me to produce a bill that i paid. I have to say jose who works for the company realy tryed to help and jeniffer in shipping is great the rest including those smug managers suck! They say on the site that once u put gas in they cant ship it back ok no problem. How about checking it before it goes out! Instead of asking the customer to shell out more money to fix a brand new tractor (mower) do your self a favor buy local less problems quicker recourse to the seller
First I placed an order with mowers direct for a new Snapper riding lawn mower and waited to see if I would get a confirmation that my order went through, no such thing, so I placed three more orders in two days and on the fourth attempt I finally received a confirmation via email with a receipt. I then contacted the company and found out there were four lawn mowers heading my way and I said I could only use one at a time and one is all I really needed. The lawn mower came and it is a good looking Snapper model number SPX2246, problem number one was there is no key to start the unit, no manual etc. So I contacted the company and requested a KEY so I can mow my lawn. I figured out that if you unplug the wires off the ignition switch the machine will start. I put gas in it checked the oil and started mowing my lawn with in an hour of mowing the belt on the deck broke, I called the company again and asked them to send me a new belt, the reply was we don't do warranty work, and they gave me the nearest Snapper Dealer in my area, those clowns didn't want to help me out so I called several snapper dealers and finally found some jerk that sounded put out and he told me it would be six weeks to get to my mower, I said I need a new belt and he said it would be six weeks. So I called mowers direct again and left a message that I purchased a new snapper and would like to mow my yard. Jose called me back and was suppose to help me out and said he would call me the next day after he talked to a Snapper Rep. No frigen phone call. Beware of Snapper lawn mowers! I thought they were suppose to be a good machine, WRONG! I like the machine if you're just going to use it as a toy to ride around your place. The first belt lasted an hour and after I figured out how to put a new belt on with out a manual, and it was a belt that I paid thirty five dollars for, that one lasted about forty five minutes, so now I have a Snapper riding lawn mower that cost me twenty six hundred dollars and it is going to take about four belts to mow my place, I figure it is going to cost me one hundred forty dollars worth of belts each time I mow my grass, two times a week and that will be two hundred and eighty dollars a week, eleven hundred twenty dollars a month. My advice don't buy from mowers direct and don't buy a snapper riding lawn mower.
