App never works. Website works most of the time but still glitchy. Disputing a charge is the absolute worst thing I've ever had to do, couldn't access ANY of my money for days in a row. Refusing to help with pending charge. Looking for a new bank and will NEVER recommend money network! :)
I got the money network pay card at work for my direct deposit so I could utilize the wages now feature. This turned out to be a total nightmare. This has to be the worst app I have ever used. You can"t log in at all to access your account the wages now feature can not be accessed at all the website it self will not let me log in. I have finally decided to transfer my direct deposit to another account to another bank. I will never use money network again nor would I recommend it to anyone else. Do not trust money network.
I couldn't activate my new card issued by this company for my disability benefits because according to them there was fraudulent charges on the card which had not been activated yet. Very fishy. They claim that they have to cancel my card now and issue me a check that will get to me 7-14 days minus the charges that are currently pending. I was told that I have to dispute those charges before they can refund me that money.
I have been trying for 3 1/2 weeks to get a bank statement every time I try to access the app. It tells me my information is incorrect. I've called customer service. They've given me three different passwords to try which none of them worked. I asked them to email it to me because I need it for, they have no way to email it. They have to mail it snail mail which takes 10 to 20 days to get. The app never works. The website never works, and their customer service is horrific. Now I am at a deadline to get my bank statement turned in for my loan and I can't get it and all they can tell me is we're sorry for the inconvenience. The only reason I even used the card was because that's how our company does their payroll either that or a paper check which takes longer to get. If you don't have to use them DONT! You will regret it! The only reason I even gave them one star is because you don't have an option to do anything less. This company should not be in business. Do not trust this bank With your financial security
I've called this company 4x in a week they have taken 75.00 of my child's paycheck and locked her out of her account I'm now in the process of reporting it to the bbb and filing a police report if your minor child has these people as a pay source get rid of them immediately they are all foreign and won't help one bit I have hours of recording with these people they rip off minor children that work really hard and life lock has reported then as well... I won't stop till they are no longer in business... watch your child income they are using it and their s.s numbers...
My account was compromised I filed a complaint with Money Network I provided everything requested by them. After 14 days of waiting they told me that my money all $2600 was all sent to a the people that compromised my account and the investigation was done, After I was told that my account was compromises and it was getting closed and they saw the hack they couldn't get the money back so I'm out of luck. Money network has horrible account security and even worse customer service and their fraud investigation department is a complete joke. Keep your funds safe stay away from money network..
I am missing over $14,000 in government-issued EDD payments that were supposed to be deposited onto a Money Network prepaid card — and I haven't been able to access those funds since October 2024. This company provides no access to full transaction history, especially if your card was replaced. Even on an active card, you can only view the most recent 90 days, making it nearly impossible to confirm deposits, detect fraud, or retrieve records for taxes. There is no phone support, no email, and no secure portal. The only way to reach them is by physically mailing a letter to Georgia. I've filed complaints with the California Attorney General, Department of Financial Protection & Innovation, the BBB, and the police. Money Network is responsible for handling public benefit funds, yet offers zero transparency, zero accountability, and no clear path to recover lost payments. Avoid them if at all possible.
I would give this a 0 star if possible.im serious if your job asks you if you want this card say heck no. The app or web site never works it has not worked for 3 weeks now. It's pretty scary knowing they can get away with this that means you have no way of seeing your transactions,moving money or seeing your balance.when this card app was working half the time couldn't log in.run away from this card! Total crap and all the money you save on this card, absolutely no interest no thank you to you at all for banking with them,total sorry crap of a company!
I have not been able to access my account in months. I can't log in online, can't use the app, can change my PW. Can only see my money sitting in the "Quick Balance". Complete trash.
Automated phone service goes in loops, then rep asks for same info input to phone.
Problem: Website does not come up. Using FireFox Browser, Answer: Use Safari - On a Windows OS this is not a good option. Next use Edge. Why they don't support FireFox is beyond me. Would be a help if they had better information than a 403 - Forbidden page. They need to go the way of the Do-Do bird.
Rejected by many businesses. Ridiculous fees. No chipped cards available. I would not recommend this card to anyone. This card does not offer incentives whatsoever.
This is who I get paid through woke up last payday to 00.00 Said my pay was deposited but someone stole everything and now making me go though hell n back plus an Investigation n paperwork that won't guarantee ill get my money back. This is soo f*cked up! After I called last payday reported it they sent a new card n was suppose to void out the checks the scammers wrote why I call 5th business day, the day they told me I would receive my funds back... I still have no money I have kids and bills everyone is sorry but sorry isn't helping me at this point I'm pissed an would never recommend money network to my worst enemy! This Whole Company Is A Scam!
I've disputed charges since last December with him and I don't even get a reply back from them. They tell me to email I emailed they don't respond. I call they don't respond. I asked for dispute department. There is no such thing really you get the same person this is the worst company you ever dealt with. We need a class act
I've had a dispute open with Moneynet network since December 5 about charges that I did not make to my card and it's still not resolved. I cannot speak to anybody about it. I file complaints with FTC CPF, and we can't get anywhere. This is a terrible company to work with.

Worse card I ever had. My money goes missing a lot. My app have been compromised they will say the system flagged some suspicious activity and will not give me any other reason I had to get a check in the mail that I couldn't cash at my bank. The app and website doesn't work. The customer service sucks they just keep repeating themselves sounding like robots I can't get my money to go anywhere else.
In all honesty you'd get better customer service from a meth dealer. The website seems to be designed to keep hold of your money for as long as they can. I did eventually get through to customer service and the person I spoke to was spectacularly unhelpful and I gave up. I still don't have my money.
I received my Money Network card for CA EDD benefits. I attempted to register on the Money Network website to find out that somehow someone had already registered my card with an unknown email. Money Network said the only way I could proceed would be to tell them the exact amount and date of a specific transaction from 5 transactions ago. I never even made 5 transactions. Hence this information was impossible to provide. That was the end of the road. I have been robbed of all my benefits and Money Network facilitated this by having absolutely no other way for me to prove my identity.
I asked for direct deposit and instead I was given a crap card that rejects your information, says you card isn't verifiable. Why does anyone want to go through this hassle with not one legit CSRep! Pennsylvania Unemployment PLEASE do better and get another vendor.
I would never do business with money network. The only reason I have to use them is because I'm currently on disability. So a month ago, I rented a hotel room, and like most hotels they asked for $100 deposit. No problem, the deposit is usually back on my card a day or 2 after I check out. We'll here I am, almost 1 month later, and the hotel did its part...but money network has held my money this entire time. They tried saying I need a written letter from the hotel, and that even then it can take 31 days for money to be returned to me! Absolutely not! We'll trying to speak someone, and then to speak with a supervisor or at least have a supervisor call you back...they do not help you at all! I've been trying for the last week to have a supervisor call me back...AND THEY DONT DO IT...and they still haven't posted my money back to my account so I can use it. Money network tries to steal your money.
