You're a horrible company. I've decided I will work actively to tell people the truth about Modlily. I ordered a gift and it didn't fit. In the year 2017, the common courtesy is that there is an exchange. Modlily said that all I would get is a twenty percent off of a future purchase. That's shameful. Sure, they said I could return it, but the company is in China! Stay away. Stay away... Stay away!
I ordered a couple of items that ended up being not at all true to size and didn't even look like what I ordered. They have no way to make returns and I emailed them and received no response. Worst experience ever!
Ordered two items took 40 days to receive. Clothing is cheaply made sizes are not accurate and cut & stiching does not lie correctly. Clothing absolutely not as described or pictured and any positive reviews are made the company themselves. Read the fine print and realize where this clothing is made and shipped from. Save your money and do not order from this site. Lessened learned.
Oh boy did I make a mistake. The clothes I bought are actually cute but the size chart is totally inaccurate! The clothes were about four sizes smaller than they should have been for the size listed. I am still waiting for a refund. They offered me 20% which is so utterly ridiculous! I am donating the two items to charity so I can at least feel good about that but I sure wish I had read these reviews before making my purchase! Never again.
I usually wear a size 18 this is a 1X in America, I had read reviews that sizes ran small. So, I ordered a 3X received product and it was too small. I thought my daughter would fit she is a size 12 (U.S.) it was to small for her also. I paid $53. For the coat which I felt was a really good price. However, they wanted their product back for a refund. I went to the post office and the cost for returning it was $60. I almost choked. I wrote to them asking for a return label, The coat was marked 3X but the zip in lining was marked 2X. I explained to them and sent them a picture of the mixup. They refused to send a return label and wanted to give me a 40% refund and I keep the coat. I tried to explain the error in the coat and the lining and requested a 50% return they said NO. They said 40% and you keep the coat. What choice did I have so I got $21 back I have a coat that won't fit as well.
I f I could give them no stars I would. I ordered a sweater in large ( am size 10) according to their website sizes. First, it took forever to get it. ThenI found out why... it comes from China! I tried to put it on and I could not even get the sweater on my arm! I told them I wanted a refund and they did not respond> I could not get anyone to answer me. I emailed them and told them I was sending it back for refund. They told me after I sent it with tracking number that they did not want it sent back! They would give me partial credit. I said NO! I finally escalated to PayPal and gave them the US tracking number. After a month they closed my case saying that the tracking info was not valid! I got it from the Post office it was LA*******US. I saw it got to Miami then no further updates. I am beyond miffed I lost my original purchase plus the $22 to mail it back to CHina! Stay away. It is not worth it! And i am mad at paypal too. They should not support this company. I had no idea how bad they were and now the internet has exploded with bad ratings for modlily.
Scam stay away... dont waste your money, cheaply made in china and the company is worth millions selling this stuff all over the world. They need to be arrested and the key thrown away... Run Fast don't look back! Wish I could give no stars!
You send your hard earned money, they take forever (3 months) to send you a very cheap imitation (halloween costume polyester rather than linnen) of what they advertised. In the wrong size. Then they make it difficult and expensive to return the item, and offer you a paltry refund to "save you the trouble." SCAM!
I ordered a dress, which when it arrived looks like a shoddy replica of the photo. The fabric is so cheap you can see through it. And it was marked the size I ordered, but was 4 inches smaller than the size chart. Even though it was their fault, in the end they only returned 40% of my money. After 6 weeks of negotiations. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I will no longer go looking for bargains for companies outside of the United States.
I purchased without realizing the shipment would come from China which meant returns would be problematic. Well, the three garments are not true to size and way too small. I opened a claim with PayPal (who were great to work with), because I could not get them to send me a return form. The response back from ModLily was they would only give a 60% refund, max, and I had pay for shipping back to China. I settled for a 20% refund, closed the claim and will donate the clothing. DO NOT DO business with these people! I do not even rate them a one star... that is too generous, but that is not an option
I ordered 4 shirts. Two of them didn't fit. They refused to give me an RMA. I sure wish I read the reviews before buying from them. Lesson learned.
Tracking showed no movement for two months. I complained to PayPal who did nothing. The shirt I ordered showed up after three months looking nothing like what was ordered. I threw away $40.
Why does a coat that I purchased size 2x not fit, I also purchased a dress 3x doesn't fit in arms the arms in these are so skinny that no one can put it on. Am stuck with a coat & dress that can't be used. Would like a return label for these two items
Tracking status on my order did not change for weeks (stuck in China). Customer service swore my items were in the States and should be on my doorstep in a few days, but after weeks, I had my credit card company reverse the charges. My items never arrived.
Their intent is to steal your money and never fulfill the order and prevent you from getting satisfaction

I paid 34.00 (NOT cheap) for a top, waited a month to get it, and am so very disappointed in the size, color, material, and quality. I wouldn't GIVE it away to anyone. Now fighting the battle to return it and get a refund. THIS SITE IS A SCAM! Wish I had checked out the reviews prior to ordering. I have posted this site on FB so that people are aware if they are considering an order. Come on Modlily - be a respected company and honor your ads! Usually the comment is "you get what you pay for"... in this instance I paid a lot of money and got a piece of junk. Doesn't even rate a 1 star but even in their review process they don't give an option of zero stars. Smh
Shame on me for not checking reviews first and I should've known that I get what I pay for. It has been over a month since I placed an order and still haven't received it. The tracker says it's in China, support your local businesses and stay clear of this scam!

My husband bought me a dress for Christmas, it did not arrive in time, when it did it was the wrong size so he communicated over several days with the admin via email, he has sent the dress back for a full refund, which we have yet to receive, postage costing us over £12.00. Today we receive papers from TNTcharging £25.00 for the postage from China! Its a massively underhanded business and I am now dreading that we won't be reimbursed.
Saw this on facebook and thought the items were very cute and inexpensive. I ordered two different dresses/long tops to wear with tights. It did take a very long time to get my items, but they did fit and they are really cute. Lots of compliments on the two items that I got when I wear them. I got lucky I think as they are so many negatives about this company. I did not read the reviews prior to ordering, but would consider ordering again as I was pleased with my purchases.

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
