MLB Shop I ordered a Kirk Gibson signed baseball from MLB Shop on 10/4/25 because it was advertised as a 30% discount with a GLOVE promo code. The discount was applied throughout the checkout process but when I received the order confirmation it wasn't included. When what I received did not match the description—they charged me $449.99 instead of the advertised $337.49 (see pictures) I contacted customer service multiple times, but they refused to honor what they advertised. I then returned the product and they wrote that I'd receive a refund of my money in 2-5 days. It's 16 days later and I've yet to receive a refund and they are no longer responding to my email inquiries. This company is scary and disingenuous and I'm writing to warn others of how they do business. Lastly, I posted online and they suddenly were very responsive. They asked me to take down my original post and since then they are no longer communicating. I would caution others to double-check details and be wary of this company, their offers and their refund promises.
Shorted me $9 and their solution was to send me a gift card for that amount for another purchase. Stay away from this retailer.
Can't manage to ship a product. Can't manage to cancel an order.
Pretty sure that's their business model because reading other reviews, they consistently refuse to cancel an order ("Oh no we can't." when they can, they just don't want to.) only to ship the item and charge a restocking fee if the person wants to return it.
The best way to get your order shipped is to say you want to cancel it, you'll spend 3 days getting lied to by their customer support but your order will leave so you can't cancel it.
Instead of playing their game I am just gonna keep whatever ends up at my door and I'll be asking my bank to claw the funds back. If they want to apologize with a free order, I'll accept their apology. It's obviously an apology since they said they were cancelling my order yesterday before shipping it today.
Long story short, just buy anywhere else. I hope it goes without saying that this does exclude their other website (Fanatics for sure, I think HatClub is also these idiots but if not HatClub I know they have a third site that's the same website under a different name. Avoid them all.)
It's truly shocking that MLB puts up with this with one of their approved licensees, it's painting them in a terrible light. Hopefully the league cuts ties with this awful company and arranges for someone better to handle their merchandising. Simply terrible.

I placed an order on Dec 27 that was to come second day air. I've called and chatted over 5 times about it. They made the label and said they sent a new one but it didn't go through so they sent a third one that once again is sitting with label made but not moving. Their outsourced personnel don't tell the truth, I have multiple transcripts where they blatantly contradict themselves. I used before but Never again, it's sad what's considered normal here, just read the other reviews and if you want your product don't order from this place. The worst
I ordered a customized jersey for my son for Christmas. It said it would come on the 20th but it never came. Then it said it would come on the 24th but it never came. Then it said it would come on the 30th but it still never came. I contacted the company and they told me it was lost, but they were never going to contact me and tell me that. They ruined my son's Christmas and did not give a $#*!. Nothing was offered as compensation, just told me they will refund my money within 2-7 days. What a POS company.
I ordered a hoodie fto MLB as a Christmas gift on Dec 4th, they have been providing me with a delivery date since the 13th. Every day my delivery date changes to the next day at the end of each business day. Yet the tracking history says it's in Ohio since December 11th and has not moved. You can't get a hold of anyone customer service sucks! Now I have no gift for my dad for tomorrow. I will never order from them again.
I ordered and paid for an Arizona D-Backs newborn bodysuit for my granddaughter and what was delivered was a child's S/M NHL Vegas Golden Knights hockey jersey.

I purchased a jersey through Klarna from the mlb shop. I well I returned the jersey and they stated that I would only receive an e gift card of $94.49. I informed Klarna that I returned the jersey. Payments were stopped until I redo the gift card. Well the payments started back up again. I payed the full amount to Klarna which was $102. Well MLB shop stated that since Klarna disputed it they had to deactivate the gift card. Mind you I paid the money through Klarna for the mlb e-gift card… Well Klarna received there money that was owed to them and they paid mlb shop. So now I'm out $102 and no jersey while these to companies keep my money. *******@fanatics.com was not helpful at all. She stated that they have been emailing me. When I asked her what email have they been using she gave me a totally different email. Basically mlb state they can't do anything about it. I had sent proof that I paid for price and neither one wants to give me a refund. Well. $#*! you mlb and $#*! you klarna! Scumbags stole my money!
This site delivered my order to the wrong address, denied it, when I provided proof they said they would fix the issue, provided no confirmation, I never got the items or a refund. THIS SITE SUCKS! THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU SOLVE ANY ISSUE. BUYER BEWARE!
They can't tell you when somethings shipped or when it's going to get there, their tracking doesn't get updated and when they say it's gonna ship is about a week off (late) it seems from every order I've had, which is a few.
Ordered an item on 10/23 immediately following ALCS final game. Was offered 2 business days shipping for $19.95. I paid it. Called 10/26 since it had not shipped. Was told since it was a special event item that 2 business day shipping does not apply. They would refund my money for shipping and eta of item was 11/06. I ordered the same item from Academy when I got home from work that day. My 83 year old dad received it on 10/28- two days later and free shipping. I will never order from MLB shop again. BTW, it is 10/30 and still haven't received their order.
I ordered a Dodgers shirt and hat on Tuesday for a Friday night game. It said next business day delivery for $4.95, which I paid. Got emailed saying it's on the way, just give it time. By Friday, 3 days later, I click on tracking number and it's fake. I talk to Ontrac and they say MLBshop hasn't even shipped anything yet. You put your email for updated shipping and get nothing. I signed up for updates and got nothing. Don't know if anything will ever show up, but feeling completely scammed at this point. On to dispute charges and try to get money back! Bad experience, so unprofessional and fake. Buyer beware!
Company is a scam. Don't ordered anything from this place. I ordered a bat, never got the item. They keep saying it had been delivered. Later said wrong item had been shipped, acted like it was my responsibility to find it and finally offered a 10% refund because they lost money. I asked for a proof of delivery twice and they never provided me with one. Beware!
I placed an order 2 weeks ago. When I went to check the status, it showed "order cancelled". I never received notification or acknowledgment of a refund. Contacted customer service via chat. In short, the service was slow and poor. I was told my item was out of stock and back in stock now. They offered me a 30% off 'special code' for my troubles. When I went to the site they were offering 'everyone' 30% off. When I contacted support again, the service was even worse! Additionally, in both experiences, the agent left the chat without the 'conversation' having been completed. I will not buy from them again, despite the fact they offer the exact items I want to purchase!
I purchased a Dansby Swanson replica jersey for nearly $100 from mlbshop.com. Shipping was very fast but the product i received is incredibly cheap. Huge disappointment. Now i understand why their website doesnt include customer product reviews. Overpriced junk.
STOLE, & REFUSED to refund my purchase & then blamed me! I returned 2 hats, I ordered@ the same time. The hats were delivered@ different times. I retuned the hats in the same plastic bag, rather than 2 plastic bags. MLB customer service acknowledged both hats were received@ the warehouse but were unable to process both hats only 1 of them since I did not use 2 separate plastic bags. MLB customer service said there was NO supervisor I could speak with or file a complaint, since it was MY fault since I put both hats I ordered at the same time in the same plastic bag return.
She started laughing at me & said there was nothing she could do & no one there could help me. She said sorry she could not refund me my money even though I return the item. Now my 10 yr old son is out of his birthday money.
I ordered a Mariners jersey and when I received it, the stitching on the sleeve was already unraveling. I contacted them and asked for a replacement or refund and she offered me free socks on my next order! Is that a joke?! Then she said she would send me another one but I would have to pay for shipping which is $25! I told her no way I'm going to pay more money for a sub standard product. Then she said they would refund me if I will ship it back but because I need to send it to China it will cost a lot! So these items are coming from China! Poor quality and horrible customer service. Do NOT buy anything from them! I thought they were a legit MLB site but I guess not. Don't know why MLB would allow this!
Answer: No! No success story at all. I will never order from this clown outfit again.
