I ordered three times - or I should say try to order. They cancelled the order and were not able to explain why. Order was paid, still waiting on the money. If you want to waste time in front of the computer than they are great. In all other cases... shop somewhere else!

They sent me the wrong order. I called, waited 20 minutes on hold. I said I wanted the correct order in time for a birthday gift 8 days later. They told me I'd have to start over, with no guarantee of arrival date. They refused to make good on the order. Worst customer service I've ever seen.

I ordered 7 items which were divided into 5 separate shipments. Only 2 of the 5 arrived, despite MLB.com generated emails announcing the deliveries had been completed. Their website nonfunctional for this circumstance; sole option telephone contact. Someone on another continent whose language skills reflected that answers. After clearly noting by inventory number the items NOT received, I was told I would receive replacements. Next an email arrives that an item I had already received was on its way!

This site is a big big rip-off! They have so much false advertisement! I ordered a memorial
Baseball with case showing in their picture, for $50.00!, all I got was the cheap plastic case, no baseball! Sorry for the inconvenience they said.
What a bad site for sports apparel!

Lost Order
October 13, 2022

Ordered item in September, 3 weeks later it still hadn't arrived. You can only contact them through chat bubble. Starts with a robot and after 15 minutes, you finally chat with a human. They said order must be "lost in transit". Based on the number of poor reviews of folks not receiving their items, their warehouse must be a disaster.

The person on the other end of chat was fine, but offered no resolution other than "reorder or refund". I asked how soon the item could be delivered, they couldn't tell me. I immediately said REFUND. Fortunately the refund to Pay Pal account was immediate and correct.

As someone who realizes businesses need good service, this shocked me. I would have offered to overnight item or a discount.

Wish I would have read the reviews on MLB shop prior to ordering. I see why they have a 1.1 out of 5 star rating. MLB needs to separate themselves from this entity. It seems to be a continuation of MLB not knowing how to market themselves.

Very dissatisfied with this company. Order shirts at two different times since May, 2021. Both were for birthdays and were ordered more than 2 weeks ahead. Both failed to arrive on time even though the items were shown to be in stock and ready to ship and the delivery date was well within our timeframe.
The second order took almost a month to arrive. I tracked it all around the country and was given three different arrival dates. Thought maybe the label had been damaged, but when it arrived the packaging looked fine.
When I opened the package I was very disappointed. The shirt was so thin that I could almost see through it and the screen printing was very poor. This was a $39 shirt. I have undershirts that cost $4 or $5 dollars that are much better quality.
Very disappointed. I will not use this company and do not recommend it to anyone else.

This site and their service is such a complete joke! Placed an order, called and verified the order after receiving an email with verification issue and they will not process because of an unprocessed order 2 years ago to someone else! WTF is wrong with this company!
They have no realistic resolution capabilities, and they really do not seem to give a crap.

Terrible service
September 30, 2021

I ordered a shirt 3 months ago. I have been patiently waiting and it never came, I didn't even receive a tracking number. After being in contact with them I realised it'd be sitting at the post office for a week, I went to the post office, it wasn't even there. I got in contact again and there is a different operator each time and each one is educated differently and it's so frustrating. I was advised since I moved addresses I could change the address once I physically filled out the form, another agent told me I cannot change the address. I'm so over this website. I am never ordering of it again.

HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE

This site is the absolute worst. They take your money, wait weeks, then tell you that most of the order is not available. Why take the money when they know it is out of stock? Communication is terrible.

Caveat Emptor! Buyer beware! Stay away at all costs.

All the terrible reviews you read about this website are true. They take forever to get your items to you, yet they have no trouble taking the money out of your account or bill your card immediately. When you have to take time out of your day to make MULTIPLE calls about the status of your order, the customer service representatives blame you or give you every excuse they can think of. Buyer Beware! Find another site to purchase your baseball items from. I know I will from now on.

Customer service sucks

This site delivered my order to the wrong address, denied it, when I provided proof they said they would fix the issue, provided no confirmation, I never got the items or a refund. THIS SITE SUCKS! THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU SOLVE ANY ISSUE. BUYER BEWARE!

Return Policy Sucks
August 21, 2022

Because MLBShop does not sell Women's jerseys with Tom Seaver and number on back, I had to order a custom jersey with Seaver's name and number. According to the size chart, the Medium would be bigger than I needed but my wife likes her shirts loose. When it arrived, the Medium was too tight. Because it was a custom shirt, I was not able to send it back and get a larger size so I'm out over $160. Since their size chart is not correct, they should allow me to return it and get the larger size. That will only happen in my alternative universe.

Deceptive guarantees
January 19, 2017

Big Letters, Order Before December 22 and Guaranteed before Christmas. I entered the code, made the order, arrived well after Christmas. Didn't read the fine print, "only on selected items". My local JC Penny had item in stock the day I made the online order. If not for the "Guarantee" I would have gone there and it would have been under the tree instead of an empty promise.

Still Waiting
August 26, 2021

I ordered a jersey about four weeks ago, I expedited the jersey to get it one to two business days and it's been four weeks... and still no jersey. It was suppose to be a birthday present and now it's a belated birthday presents. I will not be using mob shop to purchase anymore of my gear, because there delivery service time is inadequate.

IMPOSSIBLE to return. Total waste of time. There was no paperwork with my order so I did not have their order number. But you can't return it if you don't have your order number. Customer service was no help at all.

LOST MY ORDER
April 26, 2022

I had purchased a jacket online on the mlbshop.com thinking it was from the official MLB. It was a Starter Boston Red Sox windbreaker pullover. After almost 2 weeks the order didn't move and never got any tracking updates. Every agent was useless gathering it was live chat and no contact # at all. Finally 2 days before the estimated delivery date the tracking finally updated only to be lost (probably stolen by a Landmark carrier employee) or must've fell off the truck. ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I ordered something on November 17th. I received the wrong order on December 10th. Not a big deal. Got online. Got the return ready. Was told by one agent my package would still be delivered on December 21st. (It's a Christmas present) I check back today and was told it won't SHIP until January 18th. I asked multiple times and made sure I was very clear in getting it for Christmas.I will never order from them again. Was sent the wrong package and was lied too about my actual

Both a hoodie and a TShirt I ordered from there are already coming apart at the seams (literally) after wearing 1 and 2 times. The quality of both items is below average and the customer service when I commented about it, was generic in nature. We will send you a return label and replace the items with the same items. Clearly the items are crap... so I don't want more crap and to go through the hassle of returning it, and getting more crap. Seriously disappointed.

Nothing I CAN DO!

This companies customer service is a JOKE. I waited for a personalized item for 8weeks! 8 weeks! For them to cancel my order afterwards. I know things have changed for all of us this year with Covid-19 so I figured order ahead n have it in time. During my waiting process I called to check on the order several times.
