I ordered a hat as a Christmas gift for my son. It was supposedly in stock and would be delivered by 12/23/24. The tracking showed that it was delivered to UPS but it never actually made it to UPS. Now the item is no longer in stock anywhere. I will never order from this company again.
I ordered a t shirt the night the dodgers won the World Series the t shirt was a gift. It took 21 days to get it delivered. It was not a custom shirt, everyone had it. I thought it would be better going to MLB.com. It was not. Package came from Fanatics in Ohio. I could have walked it from Ohio to LA in 21 days. DO NOT use this company
I go on to look at stats and it only shows one category, i only see HRs with no drop down menu for other categories! It's a user experience disaster. I end up going to Fox. Honestly, MLB.com is so poorly managed because the sport is as well.
Mom loves baseball and watching games live on tv. We're in the Mtn. Time Zone and game start times don't match up with MLB.com's schedule. Call customer service and took 20 minutes just to locate our account, only to be told they can't seem to find the problem and I need to contact my streaming provider. Next day, the schedule timing is way off, so we give up and decide to sign up for cable + sports package. Yup, went backwards and instead of cutting the cable. Thanks mlb.com - you really bite. What a terrible service.
MLB umpiring are going from bad to worst. I am fully aware that as human we are prone to mistakes but that is not an excuse. As a professional in any field, if you cannot maintain the required standard of an organization would require that you are let go. So why doesn't MLB have such standards? Umpire Diaz and Hernandez are worst that I have witnessed at any level. That have been the case for a number of years. I can accept a new umpire make these mistakes but I cannot understand these two that I mentioned above still on a baseball field.
Astros playing in Seattle (aka 9/25/23)...WHY would they be blacked out? Why would you EVER buy this app if you can't watch the team when they play...especially when they're out of town? STUPID. Note i'm in Texas. $25 a month and SOOOOO many blackouts. Won't be doing next season.
Total scam. MLB.com tricks people by not playing the commercials in the beginning of the season, thus causing people to decide to sign up. Furthermore, I think mlb.com filters who gets hit with the commercials. If you sign up for the yearly package, a marginal savings, in the beginning of the season mlb.com has no reason to please you and hits you soon with the commercials. For the past several years I have waited a month or two to sign up for a discount and have gotten no commercials. Years ago, however, when I was signing up for the entire year, I also got commercials. Mlb.com fooled me this time. I thought commercials were gone for good and mlb.com had done away with at least one part of its slimy practices. But alas...
MLB needs to stick to baseball and leave the media to the experts. I'm tired of blurry broad casts, repetitive commercials and now cutting short post game show for my local team. I pay 3x other media subscriptions for less than one year worth of watching a sport I love. I don't live near my teams ballpark, so travel to see in person games requires planning time and money. MLB is pushing out a strong market of fans. You don't have to be in a middle upper socioeconomic class to enjoy this game. Booo on you MLB Network!
We have been MLB.com subscribers for years. Loved the service, although the blackout dates are irritating. Over the past few years MLB has begun the process of pimping games out, FOX, ESPN were kind of understandable, but Amazon Prime and Apple TV proves they don't care about their subscribers.
Today we found out that tonight's game was on Apple TV. We could not get the game on our Apple TV device. Spoke to Apple sooort and was told that our ancient 2021 operating system was not supported. 45 minutes of updating got the game to open but found out it requires a $6.99 per month subscription to Apple TV plus. Why am I paying MLB.Com if I have to pay another streaming service?
Last year.

I live in Indianapolis and got the service to watch Cubs and Sox games, While I was on the trial all those games played perfectly BUT as soon as the trial was over they were all blacked out, after they got paid of course. Why would anyone want to pay for the service if they can't watch their team, isn't that why you would get it. They are sneaky after the trial your screwed, needless to say I dropped them immediately. Why pay for this when I can watch what they give me on sports center.
I live in SW Ohio and I watch the Cleveland Guardians. This is not a blackout area, but I have had multiple issues where games are blacked out. They always blame my ISP; however, my IP address has not changed. It takes on average 20-30 minutes to fix the issue, which means that I miss multiple innings. I pay a premium for this service, and they always treat me like it's my fault.
Been trying to watch the astros this summer. Tonight it was on spectrum but mlb said it was still blacked out.
I have almost never been able to watch a single astros game (except once. I have no idea why). Even when they were out of state on mlb
It was the biggest waste of money i can think of
Worthless...don't do. If you live in a market like I do (Philadelphia)...someplace, someone will be showing this game so 'ALL" home games are blacked out and just about ALL away games. What is the point of having a network where the true fan of a team can't watch their own team? Worthless...worthless, worthless. If baseball wants to make a comeback (or they are doomed), well...they better put more FAN in the word FAN...
MLB asks me to pay big $$$ to get to watch all out of market games, but their website is an abject failure. Often freezes up, both on my phone, and on my computer. Oh, and now unless I approve of them stealing all my personal info, it doesn't load at all. Really angry with these money-grubbing losers. What happened to baseball? Rich owners decided to milk it to death, that's what.
Constantly when using audio I lose reception or it jumps back and repeats itself. And I do not mean occasionally: but rather constantly—as many as 20-30 times in a nine inning game.
I had just bought tickets to a Mets game a couple weeks ago via MLB.com. Tickets (after) transaction were different than the ones i viewed and paid for. I contacted MLB.com's customer service center they basically sent me to the Mets home page (i guess you can call it) to deal with the issue directly with them. All the voice mail boxes are full and there is not one email address to contact. Policy states i cant upgrade my tickets till the game starts. Should i be put in a position to upgrade though? Sucks because were coming in from out of town and i just want this handled before we leave for NYC. Never go any where so yeah i want this to be right... Not happy
Do yourself a favor and disregard ALL representations of products and services of MLB.com. Major League Baseball has shot itself in the foot with this outfit. They are the personification of bait and switch. When called to task, their laughable "customer support" says, in effect, "Yeah, I know; ain't it a $#*!". No explanation, no apology, just "here's how you cancel"
Beware that you DO NOT get to watch every live game, especially if you are in region to your home team. I paid to watch "my team", all of which are blacked out regardless of home or away, and any post season games are also blocked. Rip off... never again will I purchase this. It's like going to a restaurant because they have the best burgers, and you order one and its served to you but you're not allowed to eat it.
Bought 4 baseball tickets. Need to share with three others. Almost impossible to accomplish with MLB's $#*!ty software. They put up all kinds of barriers to sharing. Why?! They got their money! If I want to give a ticket to my daughter's boyfriend's sister's dad's mistress, why the hell does MLB care?! They got paid including their $17 per ticket online fee! WTF?!
I bough i hat from this place and is been 13 days and I'm still waiting for my hat and when i call customer service there is no help at all. If you are planing to buy something here. Think about it. It will be the worst experience ever.
MLB has a rating of 1.4 stars from 121 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with MLB most frequently mention customer service and last year. MLB ranks 53rd among Baseball sites.
