Down constantly. I could not go 2 mos. Without having to call the service co.
For Maytag. This goes on for a year. Now Maytag no longer makes a harness

High dollar maytag washer and dryer. Less than a year and dryer needed repair(under warranty) Had to jump through hoops though. Less than 2 years and washer quit and now needs 700.00 repair. This stuff is junk. The 10 year parts warranty does not cover the critical stuff. I'm going back to basic stuff. So disappointing to pay this much money for such a inferior product. Dont waist your money. Takes me back to the maytag repair man commercials where he had nothing to do. Now they are so busy need to hire a fleet of techs in all areas, and maybe a lawyer to defend class action suits. Product is junk!

Bought a Maytag front-load washer two years ago. The washer does not dispense soap into the laundry. A big-time LEMON of a washing machine. The warranty is only 1 year on these washing machines and to get this fixed could cost over $500.00 with tax. I would never buy a Maytag Washing Machine ever again. Model # MHW8630HC

We replaced our cheap dishwasher (had a door leak) with an 800 dollar Maytag with the garbage disposal built in. We have had Maytag appliances in the past and had good luck. At 14 months of ownership it will no longer allow water in and throws a code that the drain is plugged. Extremely disappointed. Will probably cost me $400.00 to get it repaired. I will never buy another Maytag product.

This piece of Junk I paid $1700 for a set is not worth $100 for the pair. It can't do 5 pair of jeans without screeching in the wash cycle, the output of water is greater that it overflows in older homes, and the rest of the engineering is just as bad. The first one delivered had a transmission failure out of the box, it's noisy and very, very cheaply made. I cannot open and close the door of the driver without it moving across the floor. It must weigh less than 50 lbs in its entirety. I've never been so appalled. The biggest issue, you cannot send it back, it's working as manufactured. I bought nothing but Whirlpool for 45 years, and that ended with this purchase. NEVER AGAIN!.

The washer was damaged from factory I believe, since when Lowes delivered it Box was perfect. Bottom to
Lowes made it good but their CS sucked! We had to load it and take it back to exchange it!
A QC department should of seen this damage it was very blatant. Will never buy again. Maytag did a one time have a good name. I have called them, a team was supposed to call back Nope hasn't yet. We should stand by products made in this country, this was made in Ohio.

I purchased a Maytag washing machine top loader, Didn't go cheap, wanted the best. Only a year and a half later the mother board went, an 800.00 part, basically the main function of the washer machine. I did not purchase the extended warranty. I noted then I have a lemon. I wanted a new washing machine not trusting the reliability of this one getting fixed. Maytag did replace the part at no cost except I paid for the diagnosis, Maytag would not replace the washing machine. Now another year and a half later same part went. Maytag is saying these things happen. Really, I thought appliances should last longer without problems more than one to three years.
Very disappointed in a brand I thought who would own up to acknowledging a defective product and support their customers.

Horrible, worst washer machine I ever owed. It stays unbalanced more than it washes on the cycle. Poor service representative, they don't stand behind their warranty. During several service trips, the resolution was to unplug the machine which they said resets the error codes- that was not the answer! Finally after 13 months, the washer stop working completely- it would not even power on - the transmission had went out. Don't waste your money- save yourself the frustration. I will never buy another Maytag washer! Not only did I have lots of problems, I know two others that have the same washer and they have the same problems!

This is the biggest piece of trash I've owned. Very poor quality. I thought maytag was a good name. They are garbage. It leaks. It's noisy. It squeaks. It's only 3 years old. Sad thing is that whirlpool makes maytag. They also make roper, Amana, Gen air, kitchen aid. I guess we will look at others brands besides those. Do not buy this machine.

"Covid customer service" is not uncommon these days. Unhelpful, short tempered, inefficient, and often overworked; customer service representatives acting on behalf their employer's policies and guidelines. Appliance manufacture, Maytag, has gone a step further by ostentatiously causing undue hardships on many other working class families (BBB 2,133 complaints in the last year). Please read my experience and understand the despair this has caused my family. Maytag's scheme with only one repair company in a metropolitan like Atlanta is lawful; however, it is completely unethical and minimizes the rights of the American consumer. It is my hope that lawmakers understand that Maytag exploits a crack in Lemon Law causing consumers to be repeatedly victimized and Maytag manufacture remain unaccountable.

Please save your self some grief. If you think buying a maytag will save you money you are wrong. After a little bit over 1 year my new maytag washer stopped draining. My warranty was expired so 160 bucks service guy got i working. Then the same thing happened now another 400 dollars for replacemnet drain motor and service fee. Do not buy a maytag. Their washing machines do not last.

I purchased a new Maytag washer dryer. Less than one year and the dryer is broken. Still under warranty so called to get it repaired. Took 10 days for someone to show up and they weren't able to fix. Ordered parts but will take over one month to get parts in. Making multiple trips to the laundry mat every week. Spending hundreds of dollars on coin operated machines not to mention the time spent away from home during the holidays to do laundry. I called the customer service, held for over one hour to speak to someone only to be transferred to a "specialist". Held for 1 hour 12 mins and then the girl hung up on me. Unbelievable. I will NEVER buy another Maytag piece of junk with the worst customer service.

Crap fridge. Cabinet defective, waiting on replacement since July. Bought end of March, went to crap by May. I'm still waiting on my replacement and it's oct. It's been pushed out 3x + and I've been lied to about delivery dates. I keep my child's insulin in the fridge and with it being defective it's not hardly keeping cool. Lost thousands of dollars in insulin. Pissed off parent! Customer service does nothing but try to throw a $50 card at me.

My high capacity top load washer is the worst washer I've had in 45 years. For a high capacity washer where you can only wash less than a set of sheets before it stops duty unbalanced. As for high capacity if you have a large blanket even if you use towels to level out the load it still stops. With a lid lock you have to turn the machine off sort the load accordingly and then restart the load not efficient at all. I will never buy another Maytag top load Machine and it's run from a circuit board. I want to control my laundry not my washer control what I can wash. For a high-efficiency washer this is not a good washer.

I miss a quick 20 minute cycle, also the computer sensing sucks. I open the lid just so it re-senses and more water goes in to actually wet the clothes on most cycles. The options on the panel don't make any sense. Whatever happened to sm, med and lg fills. It also is hit or miss on spinning clothes out dry. Finally figured out after cycle if its not spun out enough u can drain and spin to make clothes less wet so it doesn't take as long to dry. Unfortunately we bought the MCT so its suppose to last! 0 years! UGH!

I bought a front load machine and I am Soo unhappy with my purchase. Worst machine ever, breaks down all the time and the company doesn't do returns. They send contractors to fix the machine several times and the machine still doesn't work up to standards. I do not recommend this machine to know one it's a waste of money and a lot of stress. You will regret sending your money.

I purchased the Maytag washer in Jan 2021 and by July 2021 i had to phone in a repsir request. As I'm writing I've had 4 more repair calls. The last one, the repairman replaced the drive train and the controller, but that has NOT solved the issue. This machine is a piece of junk. It is not reliable.

I have a Maytag top load with agitator, washing machine, and a Maytag dishwasher. Neither one. Machine leaves, fluff, and laundry, and wraps things around the agitator and stretches them out of shape. There was a software update that made it a bit better, before that, it ruined several of my favourite pieces of clothing. I was extremely unhappy. I now have to do an extra rinse. I love having to use extea of water. Clothes are not clean, I got much better with my Kenmore front load high-efficiency. My brothers cottage has an apartment size stacking washer, and dryer that does a far far better job. And the dishwasher is almost useless. It doesn't get inside mugs, it leaves watermarks everywhere even with a red seed, I can't get peanut butter or egg off, even if fresh. Again, before this, I had a Kenmore dishwasher and it would do everything. Maytag is terrible. Do not buy

4 month old maytag dryer timer and knob broke. Oops too bad parts on backorder and we have policy to wait 21 days before we decide if you wait longer or we replace your dryer... No more maytag or whirlpool products. EVER.
