Pick up has always been very easy and everyone at the sites have been wonderful. I referred several people to your site.
We have had many great experiences with purchases through MaxSold, even buying items for less then we thought we should, but thats how it goes for the seller. We do not resell, they are for our own home.
Unfortunately, our most recent experience did not go so well. We purchased three furniture items from a site an hour away from our home. Upon pickup time, one was missing. The staff recalled someone walking out with it, had her contact information and everything. I guess they don't validate that people are leaving with what they actually bought? Almost two weeks later now, the person who has our item agreed to exchange it with the item she left behind, the individual we are dealing with on this assumed we had it instead. Why would we have her item? I guess we would have been able to leave with it? The offer still stands for us to go retrieve our item, but i'm not accepting it. It was at the fault of MaxSold that it left the site with the wrong person and I want them to have it retrieved and delivered, or a full refund for all three pieces as compensation for the entire mess. Why should any of this be at my expense? There seems to be no taking responsibility for the situation. Through all the calls and emails, we have been made to feel as if this is our fault and they are doing us a big favour by tracking the item down. We've been forwarded to the COO now to try and get this resolved, lets see how it goes.
Just beware, if you get there and one or more items is already gone, good luck! Also, all the phone numbers on the site, all go to the same endless loop of not being able to get a real person unless you go the option of wanting to sell.
Update: COO agreed to refund for all pieces, but in return we are band from using Maxsold. I'm OK with that... Recently saw the missing piece being resold in another Maxsold auction.
The got rid of over 90% of items from our house in June 2018. Their staff was extremely helpful and professional.
I have bid several times on local lots. Easy to pick up locations. Always have met with cheerful and helpful people.
I have been able to find some good deals on collectibles and Im always looking for more. Fun and profitable.

Dear Public, Sandra and Celia who have never returned phone calls. I guess you are still in, "meetings." I recently contacted Maxsold to auction off items when I was moving. I have 70% of 68 lots auctioned. There were 37 bidders and all items whether the lot had a $20 or $500 value or more, all start at $1. If you do not reach the $10 commission you owe them the difference. Does this make sense to anyone, really? Every lot that was sold was auctioned off at ridiculous prices. I allowed this company and the buyers to come into my home and steal my possessions. Does anyone have a conscience anymore. The few lots that actually were auctioned at a decent price, below value, but at lease a few hundred dollars was also taken by Maxsold. The 45 lots sold, which is the 70% of the 68 I made a total of $118. The total sales were $987- Less fees $150, commissions!, 000. DO NOT use this company for anything but items that have little to no value. I should have given the many precious items to family and friends. So live and learn. This is a warning to anyone thinking of using this company. Their first deception was that I was expecting a "team" and one very sweet lady showed up at 10 and stayed till 6. Many lots did not even get photographed and properly presented. I informed the phone rep that I was selling 1/2 of the contents in my 2400 sq ft home. One example is a trunk full of awesome Lord of the Rings items valued at a minimum of 250 sold for $6. I actually lost $4. The "team" of 1 never even bothered to take out items, I should have only let the buyer take what was photographed. This happened again and again. Their second error is the fact that they start all bidding at $1. Bidding should start at least 1/2 the value of the item. I along with the rest of world would rather not sell an item than to be robbed. You have been warned, I should have stopped the process when one lady showed up instead of a team. This company is deceptive on every level and won't return a phone calls after repeated efforts which is why I resorted to this review. Linda

I love Maxsold! Im about to do my 4th seller managed auction with them I intend to write a very in-depth review very soon so people can really see what a great company this is and why it works so well and things that they should know to avoid any hiccups in there process but I have to say The team there is stellar Patti Ridlon leads a team that again and again goes above and beyond and sets you up to succeed. I think its worth noting that you can truely judge a company when there is an issue or problem with the resolution in their fingertips and when you do have problems along the way its impressive to say the least to see a company that is SO able to communicate, take action, resolve and to be Ready to improve the situation so QUICKLY and always with a great attitude. They have different people for different parts of the process and theyre all so quick to respond to you and so easily accessible even the director for THE WHOLE U.S. Patti Ridlon is easily reachable quick attentive communicative and dedicated its not only beyond whats expected its invaluable. So I wanted to update this to let everyone know that i have been contacted by the very pleasant and very problem solving Ms.Patti Ridlon . who i have to mention was super attentive and very easy to talk to..( I really think this is important to note because I was feeling like when I finally got in touch with someone it would be very awkward but it absolutely wasn't and i appreciate the heck out of that)..anyway ...i'm happy to say that they are handling it and as soon as its finalized ill definatly be correcting

Wow i.ve been trying to get in touch with this company for 3 weeks and have not had any luck getting them to reply to me but looks like they sure have the time to reply to reviews. I wish i could attach photos to prove how many lies are in the bottom response. But all i can say to everyone reading this is TRUST ME ! There are so many companys out there that do this. Check out your MANY options before you choose to be treated like dirt from this company. They are about to crash and burn

Answer: The site states clearly that you must pick up your article at the specific time and place. If you cannot do that or arrange for someone to do it for you... then don't bid.
