I recently started using Maxsold working with an appraiser to auction the contents of a clients home. It was a very simple process. The final day of the auction I was reviewing it online and my partner happened to see something he wanted. We set up an account and bid on a few items and the process was so easy! I will definitely be using this website more!
I have made several purchases through max sold. I have been able to get a great deal in all the items that I have purchased. It is an auction site and people do get carried away with bidding. If you know the value of the item and you do not get carried away with your bids then there are great deals out there. Pick up of the items is really good also. You get a confirmation e mail and must check in with the staff
I've been buying on Maxsold for years now, it's like a treasure hunt! My favourite being the MCM items, what a ƒabulous place to decorate on a budget. It is a very easy process to get your items. I bid on a few things, a few hours later, I got an email with the full address of where I had to go to pick up the items. I went there, the workers were nice, they found me my items, and I left. The whole process took like 5 mins, it was smooth.

I've recently gotten into collecting old books and old cameras. I was wary of going to pawn shops in town, and thrift shops turned up nothing. I then turned to MaxSold auctions and instantly I was sold. I have gotten some amazing purchases. Recently I bought three vintage cameras and I could not be happier. I had paid a lot for them, and that was ok. The service upon pick-up was fast and polite. Not once did I worry about the security of my items or damage. The items were as pictured on the catalogue. I'm a regular bidder now and I love it!

I recently started attending MaxSold auctions. The first few were wonderful, like a garage sale with friendly, courteous and kind homeowners parting with their history.
Then, I attended a "managed" auction by Timothy Loughmiller estate sales. It was awful. Much worse than lack of customer service skills, more like lack of humanity skills. If you deal with them for your safety Video record your encounter.
MaxSold gave me a refund which I appreciate, however, they took Mr Loughmiller a side because I had no proof

Reliable solution to help you move items you no longer want. But the best part is, people will pay you, then come to remove the items. If it weren't for maxsold I would have to pay someone to take some of the (heavy) items out - for example a curio cabinet, couch and loveseat - removed without the risk of strangers "tire kicking" or casing my house!

I've had several wonderful experiences buying through MaxSold. I haven't been in a position where I've needed to sell through them, but if it ever came up, I wouldn't hesitate. All the sellers I've met at pickups seem very happy. I would definitely recommend MaxSold to all my friends and family.
I am a very frequent user of Max Sold. I collect certain things and I always look for them on the Max Sold auctions. There are many auctions, so I usually check them daily. I can say I have never had a problem with Max Sold - pick up is efficient and always perfect. Staff is courteous and I am never surprised with my items as they are described and pictured perfectly.

Do yourself a favor, find another hobby it's all fake. You are bidding against a computer as soon as you bid the computer outbids you to raise the price, and it goes on like that until the final minute, if they don't get their prices it gets extended, wasted time it should be illegal.

So long as another bidder has a higher maxbid, underbidders will continue to drive up the hammer price while remaining ‘outbid’, just like if a bidder in a live auction kept their paddle in the air for the auctioneer while other bidders attempted to outbid them.

If the bidder felt compelled to meet an actual winning bidder, they would find them at the pickup (where 98% of everything is sold and removed on average - further demonstrating that bidding is occurring among other valid bidders only and without intervention from Maxsold).

I needed to get rid of 40+ years worth of household items and tools. As a first-time seller, managing my own sale, I found this to be a great experience! I was happy with the money I made, and all but one item sold. The buyers at pickup were all pleasant and Covid-compliant. Online help was mostly good. Email response was pretty quick and everyone I spoke with was friendly. Sometimes I got conflicting information. I suggest trying to contact the same person if possible. Andrea and especially James were willing to go above and beyond to help me have a good experience. I would recommend this company to quickly help you move your items along to someone else who will be happy to have them!

I watched all the videos before hiring MaxSold and was skeptical they could really live up to what I'd seen. The team that came to the house was very professional and respectful of our situation. They worked a 12 hour day to get everything ready. On the day of the sale they escorted all buyers to their lots and even tried to help us get rid of the few things that didn't sell.
