Hi my name is shubham dagar. I want to say that make my trip is a best and excellent app for booking hotels, flights and other activities. In this app you can booking aney think in low time and the customer support is very best they pick call very fast.
I called them. The guy quoted me a price $300 more than Orbitz and Hotwire and that too for I day after the date I requested. He said all airlines for the date I requested were full and I couldn't get anything. I went to Orbitz and found a ticket $200 less than what he quoted (for the next day) on the day and time I wanted. It's a sheer waste of time.
It is almost gouging to charge a cancellation fee (on top of airline cancellation fee) AND a 'Convenience' fee. I will book directly with the airline in the future and I recommend all fliers do the same.
I was very happy with the company with my first international trip in 2017 but when I booked my 2nd international trip, they ruined my whole trip and charged double in comparing with other trip providers.
They shown me the fake images of the hotel and gave the worst hotel room, they gave me the itinerary which was totally different when I reach the destination. Even they didn't send the flight tickets till the last 30 mins of my departure.
They didn't revert me on call after receiving total package cost which was actually the double cost. They gave me the worst experience this time and when I ask for the update of the hotel and refund the money no one was there to respond. I will never ever recommend anyone to go with Make My Trip for any of your international trip.
Please friends. I'm begging everyone... all indian friends and other countries friends in case if you plan to use make my trip to book your tickets that is going to be disaster in your life. Please do not do that. This is only worrest company I ever had bad experience with their customer service. All idiots are there... they are fools... please please plase please please please do not buy tickets from them. We will be in trouble
I have booked a bus ticket from goa to pune sleeper coach of paulo travel. Paulo travel bus is a 3rd grade cheap quality bus smelling like dustbin. They dont give u place to keep ur luggage u have to carry it with u. No linen. Dustbin is a second name for this bus. I think make my trip should not consult cheap buses like paulo
Worst service, i had booked my holiday by makemytrip. My holiday starts from tomorrow and i called hotel today in order to confrim my booking and hotel is saying my booking is not confirmed. I called makemytrip many times and got no reply.
This is the worst website in the whole world. I called MMT and ask them to change my travel date. The rep asked my for my PNR number and after looking at he said that one of the domestic airline which happened to be my connecting airline is "Non -operational, hence my ticket is not fully confirmed and hence no changes can be made. The reason why I had to change my tickets was my grand father was in a major car accident and was in ICU and he wanted to see me one last time. I told MMT guys that please hurry up and they said it will be done in 24 hours. I called them after 24 hours, they said it is going to take 7 days for me to get the updated tickets and there is nothing they can do, I asked them can I cancel this ticket, they said NO I cannot because the tickets are not confirmed...
The MMT people can speak proper english will not even apologies for their incompetence. Hopefully this review will help some one to avoid unnecessary stress that MT people had put me through.
You never going to get a proper refund from their end. I lost 280 AED (5750 Rs), The flight was canceled by the Indigo, and indigo paid a refund to make my trip but they deduct 280 AED (5750 Rs). Al ways better book direct flight web site.
One more thing make my trip show a low ticket price but when you book complete booking process most of the time it will higher/equal to the flight web site. When the case of a refund you will understand how they going to fraud you.

I booked delux room from Makemytrip in Peace residency, pondicherry for my family, they charged ******* for four members but they gave us single bed room budget room, even it is not cost of 2000 INR
They did not provide beds for 4 members.
We booked Park Hyaat goa with MMT and they took full payment from us and when we reached the hotel they told that the booking has been cancelled as MMT did not pay them the amount. We were tortured to the core and the rubbish call centre they have, i had to explain each person the same thing every time i was calling them. We were pasteurized to the core. It was insulting and below dignity to fight with the hotel staff too on a vacation where we went for relaxation. Hat if we hadn't had that much money since everything was prepaid. Never will i use them for any further bookings and suggest even you don't do so if you want a peaceful vacation. We landed paying to the hotel once again and that to more then we gave to MMT and now they would refund the money. God knows if i get my money back...
I made a reservation from them for United Airlines flight no.UA-712 from Chicago to Delhi on 25th September, 2022. The airlines changed the flight time which disturbed my travel plans frustating my purpose to fly. I want to cancel the flight. But their (Make My Trip) Customer Service has only Computer interface and no human interface where we can ask for support. I am exasperatd. I will never make a booking through them again.

I booked ticket and got booking confirmation but did not receive Eticket. I tried calling their Bahrain number which always says "all lines are busy" from morning 7 to 1 pm and i stopped trying. Their email ID "*******@makesmytrip.com" is not even receiving any mail, it fails to deliver everytime. Then I called their India number which takes ages to connect to a person who said in two hours my ticket will be sent but from next time they did not answer call from my phone. If I had read the reviews i would have never done a ticket booking from makemy trip. It's very sad that my family lost the entire mood for holidaying. Be careful guys.
Make My Trip Hyderabad Banjara Office opp. To care hospital was the worst office i have ever worked for since Mohammed Adil had joined as the Manager, till then things where going fine until he joined. Totally to describe him totally an illiterate person who does not have manners to talk with his employees. He uses filthy languages with everyone. Eg, Chuitya, M***C*** etc. Work environment had completely changed since he joined. He even uesd to yell at his employees in fornt of the customers. I cant understand who on earth appointed this a******. What was worst was that once during a fight he threatened me that i wil not get job in Hyderabad and will ruin my life.
Guys don't trust Make my trip.
I missed my flight in indigo some reason but the airline refunded partially amount but Make my trip deducted from the refund amount.
And their executive told that it's service charge but the service which I have not getting bcoz I missed it and my amount gone.dont book ticket or hotels, anything through MMT. It's a lootera company.
How can you deduct when I have not taken any service apart that airline has already refunded...
So be careful please uninstall the app. Bcoz I have already experienced it guys.

We booked the resort from MakeMyTrip on 5th to 7th July. 1stly after completion of 1st booking immediately it raised the pricing. 2ndly during our travel we had accident due to which we couldn't reach to our resort. Immediately we called resort and MakeMyTrip. Last 1 week we are taking continuous followup for date change. Everytime they assure that they will help us in date change but now they are saying we can't help. I don't know where is humanity? Are the policies are more important than human life? No one should book from them
Did 3 hotel bookings with make my trip on 27th June 2015 at 11 am for Hotel Ranikhet Grand.
When guest reached the hotel guest were told that hotel received only 1 confirmation so they cant give 3 rooms despite showing the Confirmation code. Guest asked for refund.Hotel said that you should talk to Make my trip as you are required to fill a form for cancellation and refund.
I called Make my trip back and they in turn put me on hold for 45 mins and said they could not do any think about it and could not refund.
Guest did not get the room for which they have done the payment, they have to struggle for room in Ranikhet as it's a peak season moreover MakeMyTrip did not even care to refund the money.
Their customer support staff Jyotika was too rude to talk. Despite putting me on hold for 45 mins she did not refund the money which is a loss from every side for me.
Avoid using this pathetic site.
I booked 4 rooms of "Hotel Grand Sunset" in Chail from your app.On reaching Chail all the way from Delhi on 21st at the hotel we were told by the hotel that they have only three rooms and cannot do anything about it.we were placed on numerous calls with MakeMytrip Custome care and Hotel owner and finally after a lot of discussions and request from hotel management we agreed to manage with three rooms provided we get refund on one room.
We have called your customer care several times and every time we were told that your amount will get refunded in 7 working days and the amount comes to Rs2030.
Finally when i wrote on Facebook, they initiated my refund but just of Rs101. Really that pissed me off as i paid 4899 for two rooms and if one room is cancelled i am entitled to get 2499 Rs.
Ultimate cheaters and worst app and customer service. Deal for yourself and you will get to know them better.,
Honestly the worst experience ever. The worst customer service call centre in India with no solutions and so rude reading from a script. No help at all. Did not even try. Lied on call and on messages written on system.
They cancelled my ticket partially. Could not find another flight would not refund told me the morning of my flight that partial refund no return flight after promising they would get me a return flight. Absolved all responsibility by saying not us not us its the airline. Blame everything on airline saying its out of their hands. Sorry makemytrip offered a service so they must fulfil it.
Literally they had 16 days to sort out my ticket and the night before cancelled it without refund. Spent more than 8 hours on call with these people and nothing. Going in circles. Drove me insane. I was going mad.
Save yourself don't do it. Never using again ever. Requested my bank to reverse payment.

I spoke to many agents asking for management / complaint email address and they refused to provide. I see from the replies they do indeed have an email address. They then lied and said they called multiple times. Makemytrip pls dont bother replying to this review if you could not privately help on the 12 phone-calls i made and 10 emails i sent.

Answer: I had a tough time getting back my refund as flight was cancelled. Flight cancellation hassle was due to airline which was a different story, but they surely did not help in refund. Finally got refund after 4 months. Cant comment on other aspects but getting Refund from them was painful and difficult, to say the least.
