Horrible experience with the website booking. They cheat harass and just want to make money. Did bus booking from Mumbai a day before. On reaching the pick up spot and waiting for bus for half an hour with famiky bus operators saying they don't have booking my name when I had valid email ticket with PNR number. I called makemytrip they had no information they said wait there for 24 hours to solve the query with family when trip was already planned and hotel booking done. They don't know how to deal with customers. Lost my money and had a mental torture. Never book on this website.
Make my trip seems to be more of a scam. Beware!
The sales person Shalini Agarwal was very patient in getting our trip together and quoted a certain price but when we made the payment we were charged 3000 inr extra than the quoted price. When talked to her, she and her superiors denied our request for the credit and we have to bear the extra amount.
No solutions have been done. Very annoyed and disappointed. Probably never ever gonna recommend their services to anyone.
Be aware of them and do not fall trap under them.

The MMT doesn't validate photos versus actual. They just rely on photos given by hotel itself.
The customer service don't help but they tell they keep in engaging you in conversation for long time so that you loose on time
I booked a hotel in mount abu through MMT. The hotel was completely different from photos. The rooms were dripping hygiene, stinking. When I told this to MMT they said they are solving but they weren't doing anything. I paid 5.2k per night for the room and room wasn't even 1k worth. There was electric current in staircase. They didn't help me to change hotel neither they refunded. Very bad experience. Henceforth I would never book from MMT.
Second bad experience. In the past I had to pay so much for the luggage's and worst hotel. Now no refund due to Covid-19. I was ready to fly on may24. Now they are saying they can only give voucher after keeping 5k charge. Nobody picked up phone. Replies are just cut and paste... completely illegal and fraudulent
Useless site and useless employee. I have been asked to pay ******* for a date change of my air ticket. I got date change from airline directly by paying just *******. Employee have no experience and not compitent.
Our stay with The Destination hotel Dharamshala was an Awesome experience with their great hospitality and service, their Food is equally good. The location is great and in the laps of Nature away from hustle bustle crowd. I recommend it with my experience.
I booked a hotel using MMT and booking went fine, and I paid up the entire amount of stay,
Later when I wanted to cancell, they came up with various policies though their voucher clearly said there was a cancellation policy before one day of checkin.
I lost my money and they just did not co-operate.
Dont use Make My trip ever!
The car booking service of Make My Trip is horrible. I booked a car from Agra to Delhi for 26th August 2018. It was mentioned that I will get the driver details and car number two hours prior to my mentioned pick up time. But I didnt received any information, when I called the customer care, I use to talk to the concerned representative after long waiting and then use to wait for another 15 minutes for talking to their senior executives. Every time they told will get back to you in 15 minutes, but never called. After wasting more than 2 hours like this, and calling several times, finally they told no driver is available and I should look for alternate arrangement. I had a flight to catch from Delhi to Mumbai and accordingly I planned my travel. But at the last moment when I had to leave for delhi they cancelled the ride. I had too much of problem to reach Delhi airport, very narrow escape in missing the flight. My experience with them was horrible!
Never ever book ticket thru this aap because it is useless with my experience.
I will never ever use this aap in future people should book thru the airline site only. Or one must use other aap but no makemytrip.
I recently experienced that, MAKEMYTRIP is worst travel site to book air tickets. Very Recently while booking the tickets my wife by mistake swapped the boarding ports. For this mistake I need to cancel the complete booking and I got peanuts in return.
I tried everything from calling Makemytrip CC to Jet Airways and finally on my request Jet Airways second support level team informed me that this is a complete blunder from makemytrip team.
Therefore, I humbly request all the mates reading this article, please don't get attracted to foolish offers provided by makemytrip team they are all only eye catching offers. Please don't expect any kind of support from makemytrip Customer care team and don't get trapped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and were extremly satisfied with tge customer service provided by makemytrip. In fact, we are already considering booking another one of your deals. The hotel was clean and the location was convenint.
I requested for a name update on one if my tickets through the MMT app. I received a call from the customer services and they asked for my login details and otp so that they can update the name. My tickets got cancelled suddenly. Basically my app was hacked by the scammers and they cancelled my tickets because I didn't supply my credit card details. MMT customer service people are passing details to the scammers. I am shocked, truly a worst customer service and very bad company. I am going to raise an FIR against this unprofessional and cheat company.
I booked the Hotel Walnut Creek Nainital for 8th sept from Make My Trip on 3rd September and due to some medical issue i tried to cancelled it on 6th Sept but they showed me their 0% refund policy on their Hotel booking.
I Paid Rs.4730/- for this booking and I received 0 amount on cancellation.
This is the kind of service Make My Trip provides by being such a brand.
It is unfair to keep the entire amount without providing any service. It is our Hard earn money and i can not waste it by giving it you, I am not demanding a full refund, but at least 80% of the amount should be refunded, with the remaining 20% being deducted.
As a reputed brand, it is your responsibility to provide quality services to your customers to ensure their mental peace. Providing such services can cause trauma to customers, which is not desirable.
I am disappointed and ashamed of the disgusting services provided by Make My Trip, and I hope that you will take appropriate action to address my concerns.
Made the Booking from make my trip but select the wrong booking call customer support...they helped me really alot as the told me about the policy I was expecting the refund of almost 10-20% but they gave me more than half of my amount really appreciated

The website and Makemytrip.com people are involved in bigtime scam. Cancelled orders are rarely refunded. Their support is mostly unaccessible. Also cancelled flights are rarely accounted for. People may find some of there bookings going smoothly until they get the shock of there life in case of cancelled flights, cancelled orders or failed banking or credit card transaction.
Be it SpeakAsia or Makemytrip.com there business is handled by Punjabis. Now punjabis are the most corrupt and rogue people in India.
Unfortunately I have used the services of Makemytrip for the first time - and surely and certainly the last time. I booked a holiday to leh and i have no confirmation even the day before my travel. My payment is lying with them for over a month now and the stupid "customer irritating officers" do not know what to say. Instead of them contacting me, i have followed up for a week now to no avail.
I have had better experience backpacking and making my own plans.

An indian site with indian attitude. No customer orientedness. The reps doesn't know talking at all. Most of the time they have same phrase when they don't have any answer. Also, often they blam the software that it is not working, delaying the process of booking so that customer end up paying more because they missed the window of opportunity and this is all because of software glitch. Why don't they fix the software which always has glitch. They don't have call tracking system so that a customer can refer when the rep says- "I wil call you back in 10 min" and never calls you back.
These people are straight scammers. They have no knowledge of travel restrictions and just want to book your ticket which people can do themselves. I used this company during Covid times just so i dont get held back becouse of travel restrictions, turns out these scammers dont know nothing about it. They booked the ticket without knowing Canadian Passports werent allowed to travel through London. After months of emailing they still havent resolved the matter, no refund no nothing.
I booked a ticket by makemytrip app (Dubai to Amritsar). I booked 30kg/7kg luggage bag.and in my ticket also clearly showen 30kg/7kg. But check in time airline staff told me only 20 kg carry to allowed. And he said me it's makemytrip mistake. And now I'm never use this site in my life.

Tickets bouhgt online not confirmed tickets, customer service asking 175.00 more for the same ticket and on top of it refuse to refund the money.
Always lower fares dsiplayed and not able to confirm the booking, but we get call from someone in india, who is not realy in to this ticket bookings experienced.

Answer: I had a tough time getting back my refund as flight was cancelled. Flight cancellation hassle was due to airline which was a different story, but they surely did not help in refund. Finally got refund after 4 months. Cant comment on other aspects but getting Refund from them was painful and difficult, to say the least.
