Horrible company, pathetic management, biggest frauds in its sector, mmt has failed badly this time.
I want to file a consumer case for these reasons-
1. Using my money and not giving e ticket for 18 days.
2. Cancelling my ticket without my permission
3. Lying about comments done on calls.
4. Not standing by to the commitments done.
5. Deleting call records that were in the favour of customer.
6. Cheating customer by dragging the case everyday by saying 24 hours, 48 hours etc. And not solving it ever.
7. Delay in refunds.
8. Worst management ever.

Highly disappointed with the service. Pathetic experience.
I was booking hotel Deccan Serai, Hyderabad. On the front page it shows cost Rs 2419/ night per room. Just then I downloaded the MMT app with a referral code which gave Rs 1200 in my MMT wallet. Then I opened the same hotel - front page it shows same cost (Rs 2419/ night per room). Then when I clicked book now, price increased to Rs 3410 (how?) and wallet money deducted 800 (now it was Rs 400 left after deducting Rs 800 from Rs 1200) and there was one code which I applied to get Rs 300 discount (on applying this coupon code it showed code applied successfully) but I was charged Rs 3500 finally (again how?). On the fare details page I was shown hotel cost Rs 3281 (even after applying Rs 300 coupon code) and MMT charges Rs 219.
Since it was necessary to book a room in that hotel, so inspite of this I booked a room and just after the booking, when I viewed the same hotel again this time final total charge was Rs 2899 (with no coupon code and wallet money not being used).
Seriously MMT thinks customers are fool? Lots of hidden charges. No transparency in fare details. MMT now just wants to make money and nothing else.
I raised a complaint for the issue, no response, escalated the compaint still, no contact nothing. When I tried calling for that issue they would always say all our members are busy. But the same time I called for a flight booking issue, member available (how?)
I mailed also many times still no response.
That is very disappointing from such a company. Would never use that app again nor would recommend anyone.
I have given so much time to write this complain on quora so that atleast people will read and know how badly MMT treats some issues. I feel cheated and wasted my money.
The wallet money and coupon codes are extremely fraud. They are now on a money making business.

Recently I booked a cab in make my trip from pune to kolhapur.when I booked a cab they said cost was 5600 and 14rs/km..5600 package is with 480 kms...I travelled 540 kms total..I travelled 60 kms more..So 60*14=840 extra..5600+840=6440 I have to pay..But they charged 8000 from..Most horrible reason they gave is cab came from 30 kms to my house and again 30 kms back he has to go ...so total 60kms extra I have to pay unnecessarily.
Dont go for make my trip cabs..Cheating customers for money.

I am not expected this kind of worst services like cancellation booked cab & informed us before 1-2 hours from pickup time, me & my family faced to much problems to getting cab in very short notice, & we was paid double charges for cab because your company was not cancelled my further booking & due to this we are not enjoying our holiday & your whole team is not supported & co operate to us during this thing, I am not using Makemytrip again in my life.

This is Hasmukh Parmar from vadodara. I had recently booked hotel Pause At Manali through Make my trip. 4 days before the booking date, my son aged 4 years suffered from severe abdominal pain. Due to this I requested Make my trip for cancellation of my hotel booking.In reply Make my trip asked me for Doctors prescriptions. I provided them all the Doctors prescriptions as per their requirements but though no refund has been made till date. It is a big disappointment for me as the requested refund was due Medical emergency.

I made a request a week before arrival and was only answered when I was checking in. There was no solution and my father had to check in a different hotel triplicating our expenses. The request was made because my father suffers from heights so he could not go over the 9 floor. I also requested for two single beds instead of a double but I was told at check in that it was not possible. I was never informed that the room was not going to be cleaned so that was another sad surprise when I got back. I phoned the lady that had received my request but had no solution, asked for me to wait for her to call back but she never did, neither answered her phone again (the receptionists at the hotel tried to help us in all they could but they couldn't even get in touch with the lady that was in charge of my reservation). I found the hotel through booking.com and chose Coconut Grove Sunny side Retreats, which now I kind of regret.

Stay away from MMT website. They are not clear in their information and you will stand to loose. Booked IXE-BLR-MAA return flight on Makemytrip.com in March 2017. Ticket said "refundable" - but that information is not for the customer (as we discovered) - it si for the MMT staff to calculate refund if any and tell you if you call them. No information or help on that option. Lost money on a rebooking and also foudn out that the ticket is NOT REFUNDABLE. Other sites are more reliable and clear.
Am not surprised at a low rating. After 8 years of using MMT, wil NEVER use MMT gain. Would like to warn others to be wary too.

First of all... my tickets were not confirmed... then refund was to be done,,,, i dint get that too. Now it is about a month make my trip has not returned my 35$ yet so mean of them...

They are time saver. Mobile App is down sometimes but still good to go with. Sometimes the Mobile app didnt refresh so quickly. I am sure they might be working on that. Experience on PC is good. :)

I'm a frequent MakeMyTrip customer but their treatment today has left me disgusted with their absolutely pathetic customer service and unprofessional attitude. I had purchased my train tickets from Delhi to Punjab reference no. ************** and have had a harrowing experience doing it as the site deducted the amount but could not complete the booking and have said the refund could take as much as 14 days. What I didn't understand was that why should I wait for a single hour to have the amount refunded to me when it did not take a minute to deduct the amount and not give the desired tickets in return.
It is highly irritating that one has to go through the entire process right from scratch when there might be an emergency for which services of the agency is requested or the buyer himself is under extreme duress and ill-health while doing the necessary booking.lt leaves me furious that I'm being charged for something I haven't got back in return and will have to wait for so long when I needed work done immediately for personal reasons.
So I just wanted to let All know that MakeMyTrip is a total scam and does not know how to deal with their customers and leaves me in contempt of it. Never again will I even bother doing business with them after this ridiculous, traumatic and deleterious experience.

Hi, i have booked a ticket from Kolkata to Bangalore but after making the payment, i discovered that the destination and boarding point has interchanged and even the departure date also have been changed. It has changed to 5th Mar instead of 7th March. Transaction ID: NF*******007.
I have booked a ticket for 7th March from MMT only. I hoped that they will detect and able to resolve the issue. But now they are telling that according to logs it is my fault. I have double checked my entry before proceed for booking. I am a regular traveler of MMT. But after this incident, i have lost my faith on MMT aap. One of MMT associate has told me that they will come back on this issue but that didn't happened. Has somebody experienced the same in recent past?

"I GIVE THEM ZERO RATINGS... They are are crooks, took my money but did not give me a train booking, I don't feel it was safe for me to make a payment to them online, people should beware... worst website, most dysfunctional site I've ever used in my life- wasted hours of my time, I missed my work... This company should be ashamed- abuses people's trust, causes them financial and emotional distress and wastes their time...

This website is a SCAM! When I tried to use it I booked for one day and then because of some technical glitch I got a ticket for another day! When I called them up immediately to correct it they refused to refund my ticket! They said I just had to buy another one! Any other airline or booking agency would correct such a mistake, because they are obligated by LAW to do so to make sure that mistakes like this are corrected! But this one refused to! I now have to take legal action against them just to get my ticket refunded! This website is a scam site, they don't care if you return as a customer as long as they can get whatever money from you they can whenever you are on the site. AVOID BOOKING HERE!
