I wanted to modify my return dates so I sent an email to customer support.
I got the reply and in the reply there was a link to change the booking.
I clicked on that link 1000 times but it did not work.
So I called customer care.
After 40 minutes talking to extension 4084, he told me there is some problem with the system and asked me to call after 30 minutes. The price he asked me to pay was *******.
I called after 30 minutes and tried to use the extension 4084, but it was wrong extension.
After some time I talked with Shipra for 35 minutes. After that she told me the price I have to pay is *******.
This is 1500 more than the previous call.
She said she cant update the system and transferred to extension 8245.
This guy with fake British accent put me on hold for 24 minutes.
Why are you harassing your customers? While on hold you make me listen to your offers, deals, discounts?
Because of your system fault my money and time is wasted. I need the money back.
I know this email wont make any difference to your service. But I will post it on facebook and also on twitter.
In india people are afraid of 2 types of department which are made to help people.
1.POLICE
2. Customer care.
Both harass everyone for no reason.
I will never use this site and make sure no one in my friends circle on FB and twitter use that.
The policies about date changes are **ABSURD** to say the least. The agent helping us to do the booking did tell us that there would be a Fee for any date changes but when I did have to change the date I did not realize that the I ended up paying 85% of the original value of my ticket. So there will never be a **NEXT TRIP** for me from make my trip
Started with Geetha Sharma, then taken outrageously by Gurjot kaur, then by Ashim Rana and then tortured by Lata Rawat, Suman and again by Geetha Sharma. Geetha Sharma was so rude that she started blaming me for no mistake of mine. Their customer service is very sluggish. This all happened for one simple flight from Chicago to Mumbai. Faded the colors of Indian Customer service. Outrageous and heinous. Genuinely do not book with them... Try Airline's website or local agencies like novatravels. They respond much better and also treat you with respect. We are customer and customers are always right even if we commit mistakes, it is their responsibility to treat us good, they are at our feet, not us. Beware of MAKEMYTRIP. If u want a good experience do not do through Makemytrip.
Recently booked a hotel, it was located at very isolates place. Was a bit scary.
We reqyested makemytrip to change my hotel, they gave me full refund. Good service, as the booking was non rwfundable.

My name is Harjinder singh, booking ref: KD6VWJ. We were 3 family members boarding in air canada flight no: AC0143 on 11 march 2021 which was cancel and then rebooked ticket for 13 may 2021 which was also cancelled.
So we requested you guys to refund our money on 25 april3 and called so many times. You repeatedly reply on phone calls that air Canada didn't issue any refund.
Now i just called air canada helpline about my refund they answered my REFUND IS ALREADY ISSUED ON JUNE 7.
So why you guys fooling your customers. I have all the paperwork work related to this issue. I am requesting last time kindly release my fund as soon as possible or I will have to think about further inquiries.

Hi, I wanted to share my recent experience of Make my trip. So, I wanted to extend my flight from NY to New Delhi and by mistake the customer representative I was talking to earlier extend my father flight ticket instead of mine. I called back immediately to get it corrected after a few tries, where I only received the answer to wait, and they would give me a call back. By gods grace, I got connected to the amazing and ver helpful person named "Rahul". He told me he knows about the situation and the he will work on correcting it ASAP. He was the only individual who actual understood and concern and got my flight tickets corrected within 24hrs of my call. He assured me that make my trip will do the best, they can and fix this problem. There was no extra charges taken from me. I was very glad to be connected to this representative and truly believe that this kind of customer service should be highly appreciated. Thank you Rahul this would not have been possible without you, as I only received replies like "we will call you back"
Worst company ever. They are fraud. Booked ticket from them. They made error in last name eventhough they had passport and details. Realized after received ticket. Called them, their support had no clue what to do next. Said supervisor call back in 24 hours. Nothing. Called back again, same story and supervisor will call in 48 hours.
15 days in same way past. Meanwhile contacted airline. Airline said since it's booked by agent, they cannot hijack the ticket and override. So asked to push to get the issue resolved as they are happy to fix it but agent has to contact them.
After 20 days makemytrip supervisor called and asked for another 48 hours (Kishan Kumar from Makemytrip).
Asked we can conference to airline for you as airline said call us when agent is on the line so we can clear this out. Said network is not good.
Can you believe call center is calling me and saying network is not good. I said I can add them on the call, said don't bother. Will call and call me back in 48 hours.
And issue is not resolved. Other agents I knew have fixed this kind issue multiple times but due to booking tied to agent others can't help but totally fixable but nothing.
And if they were trying and still airline not helping would have been genuine but they didn't even try.
Total fraud company.
Day by day, MMT is graduating from bad to worse
I used MMT for booking my stay at a beach house in Kannur
Kannur not being a tourist centric town, I chose the best accommodation in the best available property for a 2 nights' stay
The property is in a village & after reading the description and facilities, I was quite surprised that such a place can exist in a small village in Kannur.
I even confirmed the details by talking over the phone with MMT support & the property owner.
To my utter shock & disbelief, out of 28 promised facilities, 20 were absent, 2 I didn't require.
Most importantly, there was no security, neither for the guests (any outsider could come & go at their own free will), nor for the law enforcement (Our IDs were not checked, any person can stay claiming someone else's identity).
The accommodation was filthy, broken floors & full of jumbo sized cockroaches.
And when these were brought to the notice of MMT, the response came that they will resolve this by 48 hours, i. E. 24 hours beyond my stay at the property.
Finally, their resolution was to issue a voucher to me with a definite expiry period.
It means, for the resolution to be effective, I would need to avail the MMT services again
Once beaten, twice shy. NEVER AGAIN
Make My Trip is a great company. The support team is always there to help. I have travelled to lot of places and I always booked with Make My Trip. Always the best services.
I planned my solo trip on my birthday and booked my hotel and buses through MakeMyTrip. I was worried about the safety. But I was wrong, I got the best services from the hotel partner.
I really experienced of traveling by Good package from make my trip. I travelled three time international package by Make my trip. There are good facility and service provided.
I've booked a ticket from Makemytrip and the services was really appreciable.my experience was amazing with Makemytrip bcz they are giving valuable services to their customers.
They gave around 2800 rupees in my wallet and I cannot redeem it. Giving fake offers to attract people. It's a cheep company which make money by fraud
I booked a 7 day Dubai trip - So Many issues I faced
1) Booking amount agreed with Travel Adviser Swati Matta was 2.99L for 3 people, while their website keep showing 3.08L
2) Date of births in Travel insurance were all entered wrongly
3) After booking Swati Matta/ her Manager Shivani vijay will not answer queries, unless I threaten them that I will escalate to their CEO
4) Pickup /drop - Never came on time
5) We entered into wrong cruise ship as per make my trip instruction and we were ejected out within 10 min
6) Make my trip charge 30% more than if we book ourselves
7) very bad experience overall so never again
Had a kuala lumpur/malaysia holiday package thru MMT for 12 passengers. Dont wanna write long stories, just wanna say its your money and don't waste it on MMT!
I have made a booking for singapore and thailand and before i could make the advance payment MMT staff / team will be respective full, very patient( Ms. Preeti Jain) and give you all false hope and mould you to do the booing after that they will not answer your calls, they will not respond, will not reply mail. You will be left high and dry they why book through them we can plan on our own. No customer delight all the value Mr. Deep Founder and co put in various reviews are false. HAVE BOOKED Ooty- Kodiakanal HOLIDAY FROM MAKE MY TRIP. It was really horrible experience, the Hotel provided at Kodiakanal - JC residency was very dirty and we had very bad service. The Makemytrip did not do anything regarding this and we were completely helpless. I recommend do not opt for MakeMyTrip
I bought my tickets through makemytrip mobile app at the time of booking I selected 17.50 airindia flight from goa to mumbai as soon I entered my card details started processing my tickets I got message saying due to error we can't process wait for 10mins or call toll free number after few I received email from makemytrip my tickets are confirmed but when I checked timings it was totally different timings 8 approached makemytrip very next day on 21st July raised my concerns they assured me they look into it and reply me in 4 days it has been over a month I have been calling them from london nobody seems to know what's happening everytime call them they give us 2 days we will sort it out there staff is very rude they hang phone on you they don't want to know you once they have our monies in there accounts this company very big fraud guys be careful when you do any purchases from there website especially to all NRI those who planning there holidays for india.
I dont understand why those sucking people dont have life. Seriosaly there coupns trap and there big sale crap. Blow our mind, please dont believe this app and save your hard earn money.
I tried to book an IRCTC train with MMT.
They took the money from my account.
The Booking Failed.
Sent me a refund notice
20 days later, no refund to my account.
And no way to contact them
Answer: I had a tough time getting back my refund as flight was cancelled. Flight cancellation hassle was due to airline which was a different story, but they surely did not help in refund. Finally got refund after 4 months. Cant comment on other aspects but getting Refund from them was painful and difficult, to say the least.

Answer: It is better you raise a request through make my trip website if you had any recent booking with them. Simply log on to their website - go to my trip section and then select the booking id and press on need help/connect. You can also write at CS-Head@makemytrip.com. They do connect pretty fast.
