I went ahead and purchased the plan, then after purchasing and finalizing everything, a new page opened which showed additional options, with a button showing add, I added as one would when you are shopping (remember this additional thing was after I have purchased and confirmed what I have purchased). And when you hit add, they basically did not process your payment when 1st you confirmed, they take you to that screen and they add that additional offer in your plan and then charge you for that additional in the same receipt which is clearly like scamming. And it does not pop up with a screen to confirm, you add and that's it.
In terms of the app usage and availability, despite me choosing I don't like particular exercises, it still add those exercises in your workout plan and if you click swap which is an option in the app, it gives error and says we are working on other options and keeps that exercise as it is.
I wish I had read the reviews before going ahead with the purchase and trust me, for a newbie like me, it is a NO NO!
And above all, did not use the app or the workout as I did not like it, requested for a refund which was denied straight away saying it does not fall under our cancellation/refund policy.

Make sure you are not subscribing to it unless you want to loose money.
I registered only for 12 week program total cost 25.99, however when i looked at my card they charged me 3 payment and themselves automatically registered me in subscription plan without my consent.
I Contacted then 2-3 times and asked to stop the autorenewal subscription. The support person told me that they unsubscribed, and they will refund the amount still no progress yet, when I logged in and check my subscriptions it was still there and not removed, I had to delete everything from my PayPal and apps.

Watch out, these guys are just scammers who first of all sneak into your purchase other "products" and so you are charged the double. Then when you try to use their routine you find out that you can't possibly follow because you are supposed to keep your mobile in your hands as the verbal cues are insufficient. When you ask for refund they refuse to give your money back.

I had a terrible experience with MadMuscle. Their app interface is incredibly misleading, and I was tricked into purchasing expensive extra features I never wanted. It felt like they designed the interface to intentionally confuse users into buying things they don't need.
When I contacted customer support to request a refund, they outright denied it, showing no willingness to help or even acknowledge the problem. I feel completely scammed.
If you're considering using MadMuscle, I would strongly advise against it. There are plenty of other fitness apps out there with better transparency and customer support. Save your money and avoid the frustration.

I bought this subscription and i didn't want to continue. They charged my card again, and within the first hour of being charged, i emailed them. They jerked me for about 4 days back and fourth in emails, then tell me it's 4-5 additional days to come up with a decision, then they sent me an email the same day denying any refunds! Absolute scam, the workouts are mediocre at best and they do not stand for the customer. Stay away!

Mad Muscles is one of the most deceptive and unethical companies I've ever dealt with. Their subscription policy is intentionally unclear, and they charge customers without proper notification or consent. I was charged £83.99 for a renewal I did not authorize, with no reminders or transparency.
Even worse, when I tried to resolve the issue, their customer service was dismissive, offering only useless "free extensions" instead of a refund. It's obvious they are only interested in scamming as many people as possible, not providing a legitimate service.
To make matters worse, even PayPal refused to refund the unauthorized payment despite the countless negative reviews from others who have also fallen victim to this company. It's outrageous that this company is allowed to continue these practices, and I'm appalled that PayPal hasn't taken action against them.
Avoid Mad Muscles at all costs. Their presence in the fitness app community is harmful and exploitative. I will continue reporting their predatory practices to consumer protection agencies and warning others not to fall for this scam.

Joined for the chair exercises. While looking at other options, somehow the coaching option suddenly was charged for $45.99. I immediately contacted them and told them I did not want coaching and to refund it. They kept making offers and linking the refund policy. They have no common sense to take care of issues like this, only to keep repeating they could not refund unless I followed the refund procedure. Since they were not being reasonable, I canceled both and kept getting more and more offers to come back, etc etc. Waiting out the 14 day refund period and contacted them again with no results. I checked after canceling the services could not access the exercise program. More BS...they locked me out anyways and now they say have not met the criteria for refund and that once that was made it could not be undone. Have taken this to Paypal in the hopes they will get my refund. Beware, they are deceptive and practice shady business polices. Not at all honest.

SCAM Alert Another victim here like thousands other. I did ONLY signed up for their 1 Time fees of 19.99 and NO MENTION of subscription or recurring charge at their time but they mischievously take your consent for a Subscription as well and will charge ridiculous amount (70$) for a garbage content. There are thousands of other victims here pouring out their frustrations against this horrible and mischievous business practices. This SCAM should be off the market ASAP.
It is impossible to get a refund from them. Their blunt customer sevice will say "you gave us a consent to charge you. We never charge without taking consent" "we are a transparent business". I can see their transparency which have stripped off thousands of customers by at least 1 month of 70$CAD fees. They refuse to refund citing their policy and give few months free in the name of generosity.
Garbage content and filthy Mad Muscles Team. This is just a sophisticated SCAM based in Greece, Cyprus mostly operating from USA.

Mad muscles even make it difficult to write a review on their web, and try prevent you writing negativly on other platforms! I was stung with a £90 fee after around a year of not using (actually only briefly using) the app. No correspondence during this period. Customer service is poor with no support to rectify my issue.

Purchase the trial and got charge 2 automatic renewal without my consent nearing 100$ each 2 months apart?!? Reached their customers service who responded very quickly but refused to refund a program I have not even used and they can see from the login activity. They say that the automatic renewal is in their fine print and only if you cancel, it will stop. I am glad I have checked my bank account activity otherwise the scam would go on endlessly. Very poor response to a fair client request for refund… I recommend to not engage with such a scamming business… Very Bad

Right after subscribing, I received an email about a secondary charge I had no idea I was agreeing to. This fee was buried in the fine print, a classic example of deceptive pricing practices. I immediately contacted customer support, requesting a refund. Instead of honoring my simple and reasonable request, they kept pushing a 3-month free extension — something I explicitly rejected multiple times.
After seven back-and-forth emails, this was their final response:
"I re-escalated your refund request with our Billing Manager and, after reconsideration, was told that the decision is final and could not be changed."
This wasn't just a refusal — it was a complete disregard for customer rights. Despite canceling the subscription within an hour and making it clear that I felt misled, they hid behind rigid policies rather than showing basic decency. Their repeated refusal and robotic responses were a slap in the face, making it clear they value squeezing money out of users over fair treatment.
Mad Muscles has proven to be a company that relies on hidden fees, fine-print tricks, and dismissive customer service. A free extension is an insult when trust is already broken.

I paid for the trial and used it once and then never again as I didn't like it. I forgot to cancel as o just got busy. I was billed for 70 bucks and immediately with in mins contacted them asking for a refund. I was told they can not based on their policy. I then said I understand that but can we make an exception as you can see I have kit used the app or website in months since the initial day and they said there was nothing they can do. I can not afford to just lose 70 dollars and I have voiced that to them and they did not care. All they want is your money they don't care about the consumer. They can very easily make an exception just like any well run business does ie. Dept stores, Credit card companies, banks, most companies can and will make a one time exception but not them. Beware they will take your money and don't care about you! I am not the only one who this has happened to read the reviews! They do this a lot! Hope I can save others from the same pain in financial issues this is causing me.

The website is visually intriguing and appear to offer simple effective work out plans. The payment options are vague. They start with a questionnaire about your health goals that includes some personal information. Now comes required payment information. Once entered you are automatically charged a fee before seeing the total charges and what you actually paid for. I wrote their customer service immediately to contest the charges and corresponded with them for 4 days. They refused any refund. In their last correspondence they stated they are not doing anything illegal. Clearly a SCAM.
