I dealt with intoxicated drivers, drivers that were canceling or driving away, driving in an unsafe mode, as Lyft was always looking to the side I got my account suspended today and when inquiring they were unable to provide with a reason or evidence Lyft runs out of cars and the ones in use are old dirty with upset drivers Will ner use this company again
Lyft hasn't paid me for several rides and refuses to email back. They are a shady company. No one should ride or drive with them for the sheer fact that they're thieves.
They are never on time and do not give precise timing it's always late and the app is horrible not something I will ever use again better off getting a cab
Lyft has raised their rates to ridiculous levels. They put taxis out of business and are now exploiting us as well. Don't reinforce the greed. Delete the app.
For $5-7 you can get anywhere in San Francisco. That's a pretty good deal. I'm not sure when Lyft is planning to offer the service in other areas, but it's great.
They keep asking me to repeat my problem but not really giving me any real answers except what is in their training handbook. A bunch of uneducated illiterate morons.
Hello Everyone,
Wasn't expecting such a wonderful ride home from Hyundai on N.E. 2nd and 20th street. Mr. Luis is truly a gentleman, I wish him well in his endeavors. He is vey courteous, he doesn't speak English well but my Spanish is not to good either. We conversed anyway, what a bread human being.
I decided to try Lyft for the first time and will never do it again. Booked 3 days in advance to make sure I had a ride for the night I needed, and got confirmed with a driver named Chris. The night of he must have cancelled leading us to be passed through about 7 different drivers who we would be notified is on the way to pick us up, and then be switched to another time and time again. After the time kept getting pushed back for hours I gave up and found a different way home. This was terrifying to be in an unfamiliar city left stranded, ESPECIALLY WHEN I HAD GOT A RIDE IN ADVANCE. This was pathetic and I would recommend Lyft to absolutely no one.
Terrible service to Manhattan. Take an hour and a half to get home. Normally only take 30 minutes. Picked people up all around town and dropped them off no where near I live. Will NEVER use it again.
It is now more expensive than Uber in Saint Louis during last two days. I don't know the reason but observed on the same route that I used over months.
Lyft has always been good to me. Their drivers are friendlier on average than Uber and the service doesn't seem quite so much out to take money from their customers.
No matter what you are reported for you will be locked out for 3months while they 'investigate' or but while they do that they ignore your emails. This is the 2nd time I've been locked down due to having a carseat in my front seat since I don't let anyone in that seat. But because I don't have a dashcam for photo proof I will be locked for 3 months yet again because in their eyes the customer is always right. I'll say this I love Uber more in this aspect they investigate and have an answer for you within 48 hours.
I'm normally an UBER user however; I was sent an invitation for LYFT which included three rides $25 each. Friday I decided to see what LYFT was all about.
My normal fare for this particular route is normally $40-45 LYFT charged me $71 almost double. UBER has great customer service whenever you contact them the respond within 24 hours. I cannot say the same for LYFT they have yet to address the issue of them overcharging me for the ride. I spoke to some other people i know and they've had similar issue with LYFT. LYFT is a SCAM & they need to be addressed about their bad business practices.
I just signed up with lift about two weeks ago I bought $100 gift card up tried to apply to my account and according to them it is not valid but they have absolutely no customer service I'm sure it is nothing but AI that answers everything nobody works there there is no phone number nor can they pick you up most the time from where they dropped you off conveniently enough don't get it what a horrible company Uber is not much better but at least they don't steal your money!
ATTENTION TO PHILADELPHIA RESIDENTS: Stop using Lyft. One of their drivers is using fake photos to accuse riders of damaging their car to rob them of $100-250 worth of damage fees. Even after providing photo proof that this did not occur, Lyft customer service continues to ignore the issue and not issue a refund. On Twitter, multiple people in Philadelphia have experienced the same issue and LYFT HAS DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT. Avoid Lyft at all costs until this criminal driver is caught and the passengers affected are refunded.
I have contacted Lyft multiple times through multiple platforms with multiple requests for a follow-up and received no response.
They will screw you over every single time, they laugh all the way to the bank after they screwed you over and there is no way for you to talk to a live scammer.
Their online support reflects what this company is GARBAGE!
So this crackhead $#*! named wanda came acted like she picked me up an also acted like she dropped me off at my destination aswell i told lyft she never came but they wont refund me smfh i did message her if yur in Columbia sc do not ride lyft and do not accept a ride wit a $#*! named wanda. Thats some crackhead $#*! $#*! to do WANDA!
Worked well for me when I was in San Francisco about a year ago, I'd definitely recommend it in the city. Drivers were interesting and rides were cheap!
They made it right though and I am happy and that is the only momentary issue we have ever had, better prices than Uber too. Can be quite a bit cheaper than Uber actually.
First time customer this stupid company charged me TWICE for one ride and it was to be FREE! Then they turned around and used my cc to charge $95.90 worth of pizza. I had to cancel my cc - dispute all claims with the bank. Terrible inconvenience - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY PEOPLE THEY ARE SCUM BAGS! Start using taxis do not put your cc on ANY APP like UBER OR LYFT. They are all unethical! DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
Answer: They randomly out of the blue deactivated my account. This was there explanation. We found your account to be violating our Terms of Service and you will no longer be able to use the Lyft platform. I can honestly I have not violated anything so clearly there is something wrong with there information but the worst thing is they dont even tell you what the problem is. Oh well guess take my business to uber instead.
Answer: Lft runs different promotions and depending on promotion they promise a signup bonus(500-1100$). Now if they really pay the bonus it's totally up to their discretion.in my case they didn't pay. I completed the 60 Rides required in the first 30 days, which was the requirment to qualify for the bonus but they still didn't pay. After a brief email exchange with a lyft employee(they do not give their position or full name) they stopped answering. Now I am filing a complain with BBB and I will let you know where it goes when I have updates.
Answer: Lyft's customer service is terrible. If they won't correct it, file a dispute with your credit card company.
The company faces significant challenges in customer satisfaction and service reliability, as numerous reviews highlight issues such as unexpected charges, poor communication, and inadequate customer support. Many customers express frustration over billing discrepancies and difficulties in reaching live assistance, leading to perceptions of the company as untrustworthy. While some drivers receive praise for their service, the overall sentiment indicates a growing dissatisfaction with the app's functionality and the company's handling of complaints. To improve its reputation, the company must enhance its customer service responsiveness and address billing transparency.
