Not what you think it is. Not sure how anyone is getting good use of this program/app. It's weird and way more time consuming than it should be. They won't refund your money even if you try to cancel 5 minutes after signing up.

BIG SCAM!

BE AWARE OF SCAM! I was curious so I took a fraudulent test online and downloaded the app. They've charged me almost £50 without my knowledge and no receipt whatsoever. I've contacted them immediately and requested a refund since I do not wish to purchase any of their services. They replied saying that they can't do anything due to "their T&C"

I never tried a styling ap prior to this and in the end of our session together, Jennie and I, came up with a cute outfit id wear together that was a bit more mature than my usual dressing style. This is what I had asked for. It took a little while but she really tried and as time goes on we will be more in sync.

Use caution company

I signed up for Lumi services through TailoredBox, but immediately I am unable to access anything, I can't even update my password. At this point, they have lost my trust. So, I have emailed them in regards to a refund and cancellation since their services are unusable and requested a refund. They sent an automated email advising that there is no account with my email address. I proceeded to send an email with a picture of the emails that I am receiving from their company. They still insist that there is no account with that email even though I am receiving emails from them. This is awful service and now I will have to go to my bank to ensure that they are not able to access my account and get a refund.

Update: I have received my requested cancellation and refund. Thank you Lumi

The stylist created an outfit I liked, but when I clicked on the links, the clothing wasn't actually available in my size. So essentially I bought a $30 pdf. I also purchased the capsule trial. The stylist didn't show up for my appointment so I reached out to customer service, but had to cancel the service to avoid being autocharged the subscription fee. They got back to me and apologized, and setup the stylist call - which I did. I was then told it would be 10 days for my capsule result. When they didn't provide it, I reached out again and was told they couldn't provide it to me because I had cancelled the subscription. So essentially, the trial is meaningless. It's for 7 days, but it takes them 10 to produce anything and if you're not subscribed at that time, you get doughnuts. Stupid.

Interview success with Lumi

With an important job interview coming up in just three days, I was panicking about what to wear. Stylist Sarah was my guardian angel! Despite the short notice, she made time for an emergency styling chat session the same day I requested help. She asked insightful questions about the company culture, role, and interview format to ensure her recommendations would be appropriate.
Sarah helped me evaluate the suits I already owned and suggested small tweaks (different shirt, accessories, shoes) that completely elevated my look. She explained why certain colors and silhouettes would project confidence for my specific industry. When I sent photos of my options, her feedback was direct but kind. The morning of my interview, she even sent a quick good luck message! I felt so confident walking into that room knowing my appearance was polished and professional. Got the job offer and will definitely be booking Sarah again to help build my new work wardrobe!

Refund Received after Much Trouble

After leaving reviews here and on several other sites, my request for refund was escalated and I did receive a refund. I encourage anyone seeking a refund use the words "Defective or inaccurate" in their request so that the company has to follow their own policy.

I still think it is in bad faith to say that there is a money back guarantee and then claim it can't be used if you don't like the app - it has to be "defective or inaccurate." I did find it to be both of those things.

Even though I have my refund, I think this is bad customer service. If someone wants a refund within hours of gaining access to your app, it should be an automatic refund.

They promote a money back guarantee but won't honor it. There's no value in the app, it's defective and the information is inaccurate. That should be covered by their refund policy but they will make you jump through hoops. It's really time consuming to get any value out of it, I can't even spend the time needed because of how defective the system is.

The worst mobile interface. It takes a very long time to correspond with a "stylist." You get a vision board of one outfit you can purchase from other sites. The fashion counsel is trite and outdated. You purchase a wardrobe outfit suggestion one time per month but get billed every 14 days. The service is so poor, I counsel everyone to avoid Lumi wardrobe. It feels all but a scam given how much I've spent compared to received.

The advertisements are misleading, the "stylist" session looks like randomly generated outfits out of a magazine, the outfits provided do not fit the survey I submitted or results I was seeking.

I spent money to only be able to message with someone via chat. I thought it was going to be a 1:1 stylist video call so they could physically see me and understand my style as an individual. I spent money for no reason at all and got nothing out of it.

It was a complete waste of time and money. 0 stars.

My first session took forever because stylist was working with other clients at same time. We got disconnected, and I was unable to reschedule. When I emailed support received email they were reviewing case and never heard from them until I requested my money back. Finally heard from them stating they cancelled my subscription and was not refunding my payment. Buyer beware

I did not like the stylist picks. I thought that was the end of it. I had paid my introductory fee to have a style done. I did not like it and it took so long I logged out and forgot about it. Fast forward a week or so and I get charged $49.99. I go to try and get my money back and I am told they do not refund due to personal reasons. I am now unsubscribed but it cost me. Don't even look in their directions. There are much better ways to get your shopping fix.

BEWARE of multiple hidden charges
