I recently purchased 4 items online and a gas stove in a local store. I received one of my online orders and never received the other three. I never received any emails, phone calls, etc. Every time I call they see the order and don't know what happened. After 2 months of phone calls, they said to call them back on Monday and they might have an answer for me. Really? I need to call them? I don't think I can sit on hold for over 20 minutes while at work. The woman agreed to call me. We'll see. Now, on to the gas range---$1,700 spent in the beginning of June and every time I call it is delayed another 2 weeks. Lowe's have never contacted me to give me updates. I've ordered six things from Home Depot and received all of them within a week. I also received emails telling me what the status was. Very frustrated! I will never order from Lowes again.
I have been waiting on a whirlpool stove to arrive. Was paid in full Aug 1st. I keep getting a call from someone putting me off and giving me later dates for delivery. Then called today and said my freezer was in. I asked the guy was that a bonus for me waiting so long and Lowes using my money while I'm without? It's almost cooking season... I WANT MY STOVE!
Just horrible service. Lowe's senior management should get some training from Home Depot so that they can implement proper procedure and provide appropriate customer service. Picked up parts from Home Depot in 5 minutes and then it took an hour to get my parts from Lowe's. It seems that no one knows what they are doing or supposed to do. And they will not improve till many stop buying from Lowe's.
Wanting to purchase a ceiling fan. I needed assistance and waited around 30 min or longer. Ask associate at front to please page someone. She did page and still no one another 30 min. I went to the back and three people standing around and I ask could they help and the all started looking around like that's not my job. I told them never mind and left! Poor customer service
I bought a dishwasher from Lowe's online because the store did not have the product I wanted. Waited two (2) weeks for delivery. I had to pick the item up at the store. Later I was told they could have delivered the dishwasher to my home free of charge. The item arrived damaged, no one from Lowe's inspected the item before my husband loaded it on his truck. I asked to speak to the General manager. It took him three (3) business days to contact me and he suggested I reorder another dishwasher from Lowe's and offered a $42.00 discount if I wanted to keep the damaged item. Talked to customer care several times and was given incorrect information every time I called. There is no customer care for a Lowe's customer. BUYER BEWARE, this company has a one (1) review rating. It doesn't get any worse than this.
We do a lot of rental work and this is the place that has all we need in supplies. Come spring I go nuts buying my flowers, ferns are beautiful each year. Great place to shop. What is so nice is they honor the veterans card and we save a lot of money using that. A lot of people don! T know that if you have a VA. Card you save 10% on every purchase.
On Feb. 15, I purchased a storm door and paid for installation, a total of over $700. It is almost two months later, and I still do not have my door. I asked if I could cancel the order and was told that I would have to pay an "restocking fee." My advice: Go to Home Depot.
Baths & Kitchens R Us are the installers for Lowes, owned by Mark & Deb Witte of Colorado Springs. Their business practices are very shady and tend to lack the responsibility of their installers. I would highly not recommend using them to install your products. Their fiduciary responsibilities are lacking in moral character on top of the absorbent amount of fees left for the homeowner to pay with any project and change orders.
I ordered a fridge, not knowing Lowe's used a sketchy third party delivery company. The guys coming to my home looked a mess and were very unprofessional. My request for them to wear a mask has led me to still not having a fridge. This is day 3 now of my family's suffering. I asked them to mask up before entering my home, they asked why and told me they didn't have mask on their truck. I told them store was right up the street. They could get some there.
It took me multiple tries to get through to customer service. I spent over an hour more than once trying to get assistance. The bot is all I had to work with. Sitting on hold endlessly on a national customer service line listening to the same song in a loop the whole time, is not help. Are they trying to make the customer just hang up and go away? The agent, if you ever get one, always tell you how busy they are. Well, I would like Lowe's to know that I am busy too and so are the other customers who take the time to call for customer service.
Delivered at the end of the window, stuck all appliances in my garage and said they would be back next day. LIE LIE LIE. Wilbur who delivers in Tampa lied and falsified my paperwork. Beware of Lowes delivery. 3rd party speak no English lies... left us waiting for 4 hours one day and never showed up the next... Wilbur falsified my paperwork. Miguel and Alicia hung up on us 4 times. BEWARE! Shop at Home Depot you'll be much better off!
I hate to trample upon the voices of the irate, because those justifiably irate voices need to be heard and valued, and their experiences need to be validated. However, Lowes is my favorite stores! I have purchased all sorts of things from Lowes during the past ten years - laminate flooring, window blinds, cabinet handles, washing machine, wall paint, patio decor, fittings for plumbing, light fixtures, garden plants, tools and saws, front door, countertops, hardware, decorative items, cedar wood planks... I LOVE LOWES! I can always find helpful customer service; I can always be directed to the right item or correct location; I can always make a return if needed, no questions asked; Lowe's is pretty much the bomb. I hope I never have a bad experience - anything is possible - but fortunately it hasn't happened yet!
Perhaps the worse company that I ever purchased major appliances from. I thought that Sears was bad and we all know what eventually happened to Sears, Lowe's is headed in the same direction….bankruptcy
I was in Lowes store trying to get a linoleum piece cut, No one around, went over to another section and asked for assistance and was told he had no training in that section, fair enough. But he did direct me to the special assistance needed notice which went unanswered for about ten minutes. Then happened to see an employee with cart unloading flooring. I asked if it was possible to get assistance with linoleum. Was told he is the only one working and he has to unload this cart and then fill another order before he could get to me. That was so bad but for the way he said it. Made me feel very unimportant. I have spent a lot of money at Lowes over the years. Went to Home Depot after that and was treat very well and very quickly.
Appliances... these men that are working there. Are very rude and unhelpful... I wanted to ask a question. They acted like I was bothering them... wanted to sit on their fat asses. And do nothing... I suppose. Then I think they made it a point to give me screwed up directions. Needless to say I had to walk all over that store for nothing... I will not buy there again..
I stopped at Lowe's and bought 4 bags of mulch. Because I have a still neck, I was unable to lift and put them in my car. I asked for some help and waited 10 to 15 minutes for someone. The cashier asked a lady and she paged someone even though she said they had no one to lift. Finally, a female named Annika came and helped me. Everyone else just standing around joking. I swear it is so hard to keep your patience at Lowes. The people are so dam lazy. Thanks, Annika for your help. She lifted 4 bags and put them in my vehicle without an attitude. Lowes needs more workers like her. She gets 5 stars from me but Lowes gets 1 star for hiring lazy people who hide when there is work to do... Train your workers to have integrity, pride, and manners please.
I went in Lowes 22 Sep to inquire about a cabinet built for my marble table. I paid the $75 charge on my credit card and that is the only proof. Lowes guy said they could do the job and Mckinley from Carolina Construction came out on 28 Sep. And took measuremnets for table and wall. I told her the cabinet and measurements were for the table not wall. I went into Lowes on 5 Oct because I heard nothing from them. I waited 2 hours that morning so I went back that afternoon and waited 2 1/2 hrs. I left and went back the next morning and Juan was busy loading for someone is what the guy said. This guy said he was the boss, skinny black guy that seemed to be irritated at me because I asked what was taking so long. He was explaining how busy Juan was and I told him why don't u help. I said I waited and waited and paid the money and cannot get a call or contact from Juan to get my cabinet for my table cause he is so busy. To make a long story short, Juan was doing all himself. I finally got to sit down with him and he and the other guy made it seem like Mckinley didn't give measurements for the table but for the wall. They were guessing figures and Juan gave me the figure the skinny black guy guessed so I knew it was a scam. Juan never gave me any paperwork but showed me a cabinet no matter how I told him I wanted it to be cost efficient. He said when done I would hear from him by Friday but I didn't. I called him Tuesday Oct 11th and he said he was just getting back to work and was about to call me. He said I could get the cabinet for $1500 but they couldn't put the marble on top of it cause it was a liability since I didn't get it from them.If I buy the marble from them it they would do the job. HOGWASH. These lazy liars are a bunch of crap. I can't believe them. I called another company and they came out and will be doing the same project for half the price and didn't give me the figures like Juan and his boss guessed. This Lowes on 1701 Freedom Blvd florence employees are the worst. They all should be fired for lying and for thinking because I am a female that came in the store alone, I didn't know they were liars. They were mad because I called them out on how long it took on the days I went to the store. They act as if we customers got all day to wait on them while they walk around doing nothing but blowing smoke. It is ridiculous and a shame. Hire more competent people and for godsakes get rid of that little lying wanna be boss doing nothing. Help Juan out! Do something besides run your mouth and not know what ur talking about. Lowes People, You are working in a store. Not a 5 Star store dressed in a suit. STOP ACTING LIKE IT AND DO YOUR JOBS. Stop lying to the customers because I am one that investigates. All they do is pass the job to the one or 2 people that does work. FIRE THE REST THAT SAYS THEY DON'T WORK IN THAT DEPARTMENT OR GUESSING PRICES AND NOT GIVING ANY PAPERWORK. They are full of crap. PEOPLE BE WARE OF THE CABINET DEPARTMENT PEOPLE AT LOWES ON 1701 FEEDOM BLVD. FLORENCE SC. I am and will be. If I could I would give them a BIG FAT ZERO and terminate that skinny black guy that had so much to say but doing nothing.
There are several lumber companies in the Clarksburg, West Virginia area. LOWES makes shopping a breeze. If I need electrical, hobby, construction, or plumbing supplies. Employees are always willing to assist me. Thank you!
Lowes IRIS
So much promise, and so little delivery. The Lowe's Iris system promises home automation, but delivers frustration. Apparently, Lowes failed to properly beta-test the system before shipping it to the public; consequently, you the consumer are now Lowe's beta-tester. Here are some of the recurrent defects: a hub which connects to the Internet controls all of the operable devices, but the hub systematically fails and must be reset as frequently as every day. Then, devices such as cameras etc. mysteriously fail to find the hub after working properly. Finally, the Lowe's Iris customer support people, although very polite, are completely clueless. Recommendation: save your money and wait until Lowes works out the problems.
Ordered multiple items in 2 separate orders for a stair railing set to be delivered on june 6th. 7 reschedule from 5 diffrent stores later i hade to cancel both orders because one item out of about 60 got delivered. Customer service was nice but just kept saying everything will be deliver the next day to no avail... this was the first and last time i order from lowe... you can only use corona virus as an excuse so much... same order from home depot one week later and free shipping.
Waited 6 weeks for an estimate on a kitchen. Still waiting at this point I'm done. From management to cashiers attitude and customer service is awful. Cashier just reminded me yesterday that Lowe's has plenty of customers without my business. That's the mentality from the top down. Such ashame. Use to love Lowe's now I won't spend a penny in there stores
Answer: They aren't a s cam but their incompetency will make you pay extra for shopping with them
Answer: Same here and Lowes is no help! All they tell me is there is a delay, sorry
Answer: The price will be less but you will overpay with your time
Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
Lowe's has a rating of 1.6 stars from 1,376 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Lowe's most frequently mention customer service, home depot and next day. Lowe's ranks 3180th among Home Improvement sites.
