I'm just wondering if it's typical for all Lowe's stores to pull the Christmas decorations off the shelves a week and a half before Christmas. Went into my local Lowe's to buy some ornaments I'd been wanting and the only things left out were clearance laser lights and trees. The shelves that previously held the decorations were all full of storage containers, or just empty. It was bizarre. I asked 2 salespeople roaming around why all the decorations were already put away and the only answer I got was "Yeah, we put that stuff away. We already sold a lot." Huh?

Lowes
December 14, 2018

What I'm noticing here in FL local to me is Lowes puts an Out of Order sign up on their wood cutting saw about 1.5 hrs before closing time! I get they want to go home and get task done but it also means we take our business ElseWhere! They need to get their act together! If you cut wood that means you either need to make a timeframe for these things for customers OR quit allowing employees to put sign up before they actually close!

Never received item
December 13, 2018

Ordered item on Black Friday online. The email receipt states that they will send me other emails on the order/delivery status, this was never done. I called Lowes helpdesk and they stated that it was delivered when it was never received by me. They opened a tracking ticket with FedEx and had me follow up with FedEx on the delivery. I called Fedex and they stated that the package was lost and to call Lowes to start lost package processing. I called Lowes and asked for the item to be reshipped. They said ok and a store manager will call me in 24hrs. That never happened. I call Lowes again and this time they said that they sent the request to the wrong store and that a store manager from the correct store will call me in 24 hrs. Again that never happened. Lowes failures:- email updates on delivery status was never sent- store managers never called- why should I be the one to call FedEx when it wasn't me who contracted with them to deliver the item. Take away: NEVER shop online with Lowes. Go to there competitors instead or even better Amazon as they will make sure everything is right.

Never Again
December 7, 2018

I had the worst experience from start to finish with Lowes delivery for a new dryer. This was my first and last thing I will every buy from Lowes that needs delivery. I ordered it online and received the email conformation. About a week later I get the second email with the estimated delivery date a few weeks out. It said in the email I would get a call the night before or the morning of with my 2 hour window for delivery. The night before I didn't get a call. Today I waited to 9am and still didn't get a call about the time. I called the 800 number on the email and the first lady says I cant see anything here about the delivery time. She transferred me to another lady that was able to tell me I am number 6 on the delivery route today. I asked about what time she thinks that will be? She said there is no way to tell. The driver will call you when he leaves drop off number 5 on his way to your house. I gave her my cell number and told her to have them call me on the cell as I have to go to work. I didn't hear anything all day. I returned home and there was a message at the house saying we will be there between 2-4 today. I got home just before 2 and was thankful I didn't miss them. The delivery truck arrived in that time frame. I was outside working and spoke to the guys as they got out of the truck. They dropped the lift and asked If I wanted the dryer in the box or out? Then They asked if they can leave it right there at the street. After I said I would like it in the garage with the washer he did. He had me sign off on it and walked out. They didn't hook up the dryer vent, power cord or plug it in to make sure it was working fine. In all my years of having things delivered to my home this was by far the worst experience I have ever had hands down.

Refused to honor warranty
November 30, 2018

Lowe's installed a new floor in our home. The floor is defective. We tried for a full year to get Lowe's to make it right, and they simply ignored us. Dozens of emails, phone calls and letters were sent. Lowe's contracts have an arbitration clause forbidding the customer from suing them. When we finally sent an arbitration demand, they ignored that also. In desperation, we did sue them. The judge agreed and sympathized, but ruled that their arbitration clause is enforceable, even if they ignore our demand. People who do business with Lowe's should be aware that if they screw up, you're stuck. All they have to do is ignore you

Poor store layout, poor product organization on shelves, poor product quantities, many many sales people who are totally inept. Only good thing and the reason I shop there at all is the military discount they give. I can't believe they are still in business, I'm sure it's just a matter or time that their managers and sales people are on the unemployment line with former sears employees. Sad, they could have been as good as Home Depot if they copied them.

Not stand by customer
November 19, 2018

This company does not stand behind the product. If it may be the product defect or installation, was given the run around and told nothing could be done about our flooring that is only 2 years old. Was told to call pergo, service pro is a joke with their installation and just push you around with the comment. It's out of warranty... how can it be out of warranty if it was in fact never installed correctly. We will never shop at lowes again since they dont stand by the customer but are more than happy to take your money.

Poor Employee Training
November 18, 2018

Very disappointed in Lowes, Hanford, Ca. I Will limit my shopping there. 'Good News" is Lowes seems to have to more employees then Home Depot. 'Not so good news' is that half of them are of little help. Some seem to just walk around like Zombies. Others seem to be on some kind of a 'Walkathon'. If asked a question or you seeking assistance, they may stop for a very brief period only to give a quick vague answer, usually referring you to "ask some one else in that department." Then they resume their never ending 'walkathon'. Going to customer service was another indication of poor employee training. Usually 'manned' by females with attitudes, I felt most uncomfortable and will never seek CS again. One actually made an effort to face away. Maybe because she didn't like my face or my political T Shirt Logo?
Nonetheless, they should be trained to be respectful and courteous to ALL customers.
The young female who is CSA at lumber checkout, also hardly smiled, almost no eye contact at all, whose attitude was also borderline rude. Even if I am an old and ugly guy with a controversal T Shirt, I am a customer. I pay your salary via purchases. I spent $1500 this one visit alone.
To the other half of desireable employees, "keep up the good work!"
To the other half of the ' notso desireable' employees, "shape up or ship out!"
On second thought, "YOU 'NOTSOs' ARE ALL FIRED!" IF I was upper management

Bought refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. Spent $6,000.00@ Lowes on these. Delivery failed to show up yesterday, no one called. We sold all the old appliances so we had everything from freezer in coolers and end up losing all our food. Rescheduled for today between 11 and 2 at 230 I called to find out they may show up around 4pm. Just plain terrible service and Lowes didn't really care. We request 1st delivery today were told they couldn't tell Schneider delivery how to schedule the deliveries.

We recently bought a stove and refrigerator from Lowes in Queensborough British Columbia, Sales people were great, the delivery and haul away was terrible. When they delivered the stove and fridge, the delivery guy will not remove the fridge, insisting that we had to remove the fridge doors so that he could remove the fridge through the kitchen door.We were not told by LOWES that we had to remove the fridge door for the delivery guys To haul away the fridge, They left with the fridge and told me to remove the door so that can move the fridge when they return with the new fridge. Further to this we wanted the delivery guys to leave the fridge downstairs and take away the one that is there, instead of taking away the one they brought from upstairs, which we already moved to the entrance hall, they said they cannot do this since it now becomes 3 moves, All we want then to do is leave the fridge down stairs and take the one that is already downstairs. They said they cannot do that. We still have not received our fridge, we are expecting delivery tomorrow, I have removed the doors of the fridge for the delivery guys, it took me no more than ten minutes to do that. Incidently when Sears delivered the same fridge some 15 years ago they did not have to remove the doors to bring the fridge upstairs

I ordered R-13 insulation from lowes.com over 4 weeks ago, was given an estimated delivery date of 10/3 and still haven't received the insulation yet. Lowe's continues to blame the vendor, but I placed the order with Lowe's, they are responsible for fulfilling that order, keep giving me information that is incorrect and don't seem very motivated to complete the order or "make the customer happy."

Multiple times I have been told someone would call me back and no one has; multiple times I have been given delivery dates which have come and gone with no delivery of the insulation. On top of that, Lowe's has billed my credit card already! That charge will clearly be contested.

We went to Lowe's on July 3,2018 to begin the process of having blinds installed in our new home. Since then the process has been a nightmare. There is absolutely NO communication between the installer and Lowe's. After the installer measured, he said Lowe's would have our measurements within an hour, but when we went the next day we were turned away beacause Lowe's hadn't received them. When we finally picked our blinds it took TWO HOURS in the store to have them ordered and sign a contract. Our blinds arrived in the mail two weeks later, yet it took another week to hear from installer, and a week after that to have them come out. When they finally arrived, half the blinds were the wrong size! It was hell to have them reordered (another month long process) and when the installer came out again there were pieces missing and one of the blinds was still too long! We couldn't believe the incompetence, inconvenience and lack of response from Lowe's. We made multiple calls to the store manager and even corporate office with official complaints with promises to receive calls back, which never came. It is now mid-October ( a whole month after contract expired) and we still don't gave all the blinds we paid for. We have not even received any kind of call with an apology or so much as a coupon for reimbursement. I paid Lowe's in full in July and haven't even been offered a discount! We urge anyone reading this to avoid Lowe's installation services at all costs! We definitely will never be using them again!

Lazy workers
October 8, 2018

I purchase a John deer zero turn on sep 30th and the store delivered it two days later when they deliver it I couldn't get it started because they brought me a mower that had a dead battery i was mad because why would you deliver a mower that don't run at least do a check point before you deliver a riding mower to a customer home and when I took the battery to the store the employees and one female manager didn't know what to do and the manager told me they always have dead batteries in there mowers. For her to be a manager I wouldn't tell a customer that but it was a male manager that was able to order me a battery that he said it will take five days instead of them having John deer batteries in stock I have to wait but they wasn't going to order me a battery they want me to call John deer because it's a John deer mower and I paid for the three year warranty but when I talk to John deer about my issue with my battery they told me it was the store responsibility but after I pay off my Lowe's card I will be doing bussiness with Home Depot for now on the $#*!erson pike Nashville location need to get it together a five minute just order a customer a battery or call another store to see if they have one in stock turn into a 30 minute I don't know what to do situation.

I recently purchased an item on Lowes.com for an in store pick up. I was searching for Trim for doors and window. I found a trim that was priced amazing and available at my preferred pick up location. I placed the order, received an email about my order was in process. Later that week, I decided to check on my Lowes account to find my order was CANCLED! And without an explanation. I did not receive any kind of notification from Lowes regarding the plans to cancel my order. I wish there was an attempt to correct the issue. It was advertised as a low price and I proceeded to purchase the item at the price listed. Most stores will not allow you click the purchase button if they are unable to complete the order. But not Lowes, I thought I purchased something, but hey, they can just change their mind and price whenever, even when it's an error on their part. Very unsatisfied, and this was only my second time ordering from Lowes. At least I learned fairly early.

Baths & Kitchens R Us are the installers for Lowes, owned by Mark & Deb Witte of Colorado Springs. Their business practices are very shady and tend to lack the responsibility of their installers. I would highly not recommend using them to install your products. Their fiduciary responsibilities are lacking in moral character on top of the absorbent amount of fees left for the homeowner to pay with any project and change orders.

Bad Business Practice
October 1, 2018

I have a contract with Lowe's Home Improvements for a Tile Floor Installation. We set
Up an installation date for October 1,2018. They called us on Friday
Sept 28, and gave us the time for the work to start. We cleared all
The areas for the work, kitchen, laundry room, and guest bathroom and
Moved everything to my living room. At 8:30am on Monday October 1,
They called us to postpone the installation for Wednesday. After
Talking with a bunch of managers on Lowe's, all they can say was "We
Apologize for the inconvenience." So we do not have a kitchen,
Or a laundry room just because Lowe's decided they do not have a crew
Ready. Is that a Way to Do Business?

Two years ago we did
Half of our house with Wood flooring through Home Depot, 5 Stars,
Perfect and on time. So we learned the lesson.

Recommendation: Do
Yourself a favor and save some headache, Lowe's is not worth it.

Had Lowes install carpet in my home. We got high quality carpet and paid over $8,000.00. After 15 months the carpet developed rolls and ridges due to poor installation. Lowes has a one year warranty but many carpet issues develop after the 12 month warranty. I called both the local and corporate office and they were unwilling to budge on the installation issues. They didn't even acknowledge that they would look into the subcontracted installers, so the chance of this happening to someone else is a possibility. Do not allow Lowes to install carpet in your home

This store has the worst customer service. The employees are rude and impatient. They need intensive training to improve customer service from top to bottom. Management needs to be made accountable for the quality of service subordinates provide. HD Supplies and HomeDepot provide much better service for customers in this area. I filed a complaint last year when I had a similar negative experience. Waste of my time, management is still not accountable for the poor customer service. Today they hanged up on me 3 times and when I asked for the manager they did it again. Pacoima Lowe's is a disgrace to our community.
