I purchased a microwave oven from Lowes in Carlstadt, NJ on Route 17. Well first they did come to early for me the day before. No problem they came back on another scheduled time and they did an excellent job installing the microwave. They were so kind and respectful I will never forget how good they were. I live in Elmwood Park, NJ and I will go back to Carlstadt, NJ just to go to Lowes for two large appliances and I hope the installers for the a washer/dryer are as good as the microwave installers just not here at 7am LOL.

Stock nightmare
October 1, 2023

This is for the Lowe's in Madisonville,KY.
First is there inventory maintenance. I looked on their website for tongue and groove pine boards. It said they had them at like $5 per 8ft board. So I put 20 in my cart. Went to cart and the price was double! But my store didn't carry them so I would have to drive 60miles round trip to get them at another store. Second; my wife went to the website for boxwood shrubs. Said it wasn't in stock so she drove to Evansville, Indiana. 100 mile round trip. So my neighbor wants some too after seeing hers. She went to Lowe's here in town to see if they could order them. The girl in lawn and garden looked and said nope the didn't have them in stock and wouldn't get another truck. As she was leaving the store she seen six boxwoods on the racks outside. She bought three. All this because Lowes can't update their inventory correctly. We need a different store to shop at here.

After the hurricane I needed to replace my fence. I ordered fence boards and other items from Lowes via the internet. The items were scheduled for delivery. A few days later, on the day of delivery, I get a phone call stating the order was going to be cancelled because of lack of the boards. When I purchased and Lowes took my money, they were showing available online.

After several days and hours of phone calls with Lowes customer care, I thought the issue was resolved. They were to deliver the items on a specific day and ensured me they were available.

The items were once again cancelled and this time I wanted my money back. After several phone calls, and speaking with supervisors, Lowes ultimately decided that I never paid them and picked up my merchandise in Orlando.

Lowes suggested I deal with my bank in regards to this issue.

Lowes took advantage of me and my situation after the hurricane. Their employees play the I dont know role while corporate backs them up.

I have contacted the Better Business Burea and several other sites. I am considering small claims court because of the false allegations and 700 bucks Im out.

Wish I could do a negative star review the one star is. Way to high. I am on the 3rd attempt to have a refrigerator delivered.
They are unable to maintain a time that has been set by a manager.

Having been a Lowes customer for 30 years it looks like it's time to make a change. Lowes decided to screw up our carpet order and send brown carpet in place of the Good Vibes color ordered. Since the wrong color came and they admitted their fault and mistake, after having an install date approved for almost 30 days, they now want us to wait 2-3 weeks additional, for their mistake. This is absolutely unacceptable from a faithful customer of over 30 years. Shamefully, this is not the only issue over the past 18 months. Tried to buy a washer and dryer, couldn't get help for over an hour, then went to Jetsons. Tried to recently buy $4,400 worth of appliances, ended up buying online from Home Depot after waiting in Lowes for over an hour. Customer service today is a real thing and not an issue to take lightly. I am sure we are not Lowes most important issue and they proved it again and again. Just know, we don't appreciate the shortcomings you have caused and the lack of care for a swift resolution.

Lowes is a scam

I have always thought Lowes is a reputable company compares to the orange store... apparently I am dead wrong about that. I have ordered an above ground swimming pool from Lowes and have received notification for the order. Knowing the order is in, I have ordered a new pump and construction material to build a deck around it. Just when I was trying to find out when the item is shipping, I received a notification that my order have been cancelled. When I confronted Lowes about it, they said they sold out. I tried to order the pool from other places and found out everywhere else is selling the pool for twice as much due to COVID 19. I have a feeling Lowes is holding out, so they can do some price gouging like all the other stores... so disappointing.

Can anyone tells me if this is a violation of contract since both party have agreed on the price and they have issued me a notification and an invoice #? It may very possible be a glitch on Lowes' end, but they should still honor the price with a loss or provide me with an option of the same price when they restock. This leaves a very bad taste in my mouth and I will for sure tell everyone I know not to shop there.

In 2019 we purchased 3 doors from Lowes which we also had installed. I had requested a metal exterior door. As rainy season was here I kept smelling a musty damp order on that side of the house. Upon inspection I found the carpet soaked and the new wood casing damaged. I called the location I purchased them from and the first thing that was said to me is that they are out of warranty and I needed to call the manufacturer. I requested some one to come to my home to see why reluctantly they did so. I found that the original installers did not put the rubber weather strip on the bottom of the door, did not caulk and most of all it was a wooden door which is now damaged. The person that came out was not the original installers but took pictures and was going to e mail them to Lowe's that was Nov 2020 I called again in Feb 2021 and they were going to call back asap. Here it is in April and no call. So I guess I'm SOL as rainy season is almost here and I have to buy a another door. I had no problems in the past with the widows & doors installed in my other home. The sad thing now is Lowe's lost my window replacement they are losing my carpet replacement but most of all you lost a long standing customer. Shame on you and business is based on your customers

I am a long time customer, spending tens of thousands of dollars at Lowes in the past but getting no help with my present situation.
We purchased 2,300 sqft of LVP flooring in 2021 and within 12 months it was falling apart, splintering. In Nov 2022 I went back to the local Lowes (Fultondale, AL) and was told they do not help with warranty claims.
So, I contacted the manufacturer (Shaw), sending pictures, dates of purchase, etc. I called at least 5 times and spoke to different people each time who promised to do something (get an adjuster out, make it priority, etc) but after the phone call was over they ghosted me. Finally, a couple months ago, Shaw said they needed a form from the local Lowes store. I would have been saved all this had Lowes helped me back in Nov 2022.
Shaw emailed the manager over the local flooring department, asking for the necessary form and copied me in the email. He never replied. I have emailed him 3 more times, been back in the store to talk to 2 employees, made several phone calls (when I was told that manager was actually in the store!), left messages for him, but he has never come to the phone, or come to the service desk to meet me, or ever returned my calls.
*** Our flooring is a trip hazard as it is splintering so badly. But Shaw wants to send an adjuster to view it so we have still not taken it up. But I need to take it up now before someone gets hurt!

Never again
August 6, 2020

I will never order another appliance from Lowes. I'm renovating a house and ordered 6 appliances from Lowes over 2 months ago. When I ordered them they said they were all "in stock". One day after I placed the order the circus began. First call was to say they're waiting on 3 of the products which were back ordered and the order would be delayed a month. A month later the day the appliances were supposed to be delivered I got a call saying 2 of the appliances were still not in stock and it would be 2 more weeks. 2 weeks later on the day they were supposed to be delivered I got a call and they said they didn't know when they would be in stock and would call me back "sometime soon". I've never ordered appliances from Lowes before and I will never order appliances from Lowes again. My customers angry, I'm angry, and Lowes just says sorry nothing we can do. In all my years on this earth I've never seen anything like this. Totally incompetent and most definitely unprofessional. When this is over I will NEVER AGAIN make a major purchase from Lowes!

Great appliances

I love looking at the latest appliances on the market my mother and I go there for flowers and patio needs. They keep the most reasonably priced patio chairs or individual seating for outdoors.

Lowe's, as others have decided to give all PPE away, and screwing the general public with NOTHING. It is the GOVERNMENTS JOB to provide PPE, not Lowe's. I'm sure the corporate scumbags have plenty for them, and their families, as the rest of us have NOTHING.

Do not purchase appliances or any other major home products. Staff is not knowledgeable on products and Lowes is completely unable to manage delivery.

In South Jacksonville half of the customers do not wear masks. While there is a sign on the front door to wear masks there is no sales person upfront reinforcing it.

We ordered items that we need to replace our back porch, we originally ordered materials from Home Depot, but some of the items they did not have in stock so we contacted Lowes on Monday. Order went ok, told us they will call us to tell us the delivery date, the same with Home Depot, Lowes did not call us back. When called Lowes to confirm the delivery date. Was told to call next day which was Wednesday. Called Wednesday, was told to call the next morning (Thursday). Called Thursday morning, was told the material is being loaded on the truck now should be there in a couple of hours. Several hours past, called again, was told the material was never loaded on the truck, the manager got on, said she is looking into it and will call us back. Nothing, called the same night, same freaking thing, will call us back. Home Depot was a lot smoother, at least they told me the truth that the items will be delivered in about 3 days. Horrible experience, only I will be from Lowes is maybe batteries in case of emergency, left a bad taste in my mouth.

PURCHASED ONLINE GRILL 5/12/21. IT WAS TO BE DELIVERED 5/22/21.1ST TEXT NOTIFICATION FROM SPIRIT LOGISTICS STATED DELIVERY TIME BETWEEN 8:00 AM AND 12:00 PM. 2ND TEXT MESSAGE UPDATE STATED DELIVERY TIME BETWEEN 3:30 PM AND 7:30 PM. GUESS WHAT? NEVER SHOWED. TRIED TO CONTACT THE DOUGLASVILLE GEORGIA STORE WHERE GRILL WAS TO BE PICKED UP FOR DELIVERY. 4 ATTEMPTS AND NEVER COULD GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER. STORE MANAGER DIDN'T BOTHER TO PICK UP PHONE PAGE. SO I HAD TO DRIVE 30 MINUTES TO DOUGLASVILLE GEORGIA LOWES FOR FACE TO FACE CONVERSATION. ACCORDING TO MANAGER " SPIRIT LOGISTICS TRUCK NEVER SHOWED UP TO PICK UP GRILL. ORDER CANCELLED. MORALE TO THIS STORY " NEVER BUY FROM LOWES AND IF YOU IGNORE THIS ADVICE. DON'T TRUST THEIR DELIVERY PROMISE!. ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT LOWES CUSTOMER SERVICE *******937 ON HOLD FOR OVER 50 MINUTES THEN PHONE CALL DISCONNECTED!

Manager Melissa needs to be fired. She is completely unprofessional and lacks courtesy to customers. I have since cancelled my Lowes charge because of the Newton store and their unprofessionalism. I will shop at Home depot now. REGIONAL MANAGER NEEDS TO REVIEW THE MANAGEMENT TEAM AT THIS STORE.

So the worst experience ever. What a joke of a company. The store keeps screwing up so i called the coporate headqtrs spoke with Chardonay her idea of customer care is to say there is nothing they( corporate) can do you need to talk with the store... the store says they cant do anything. So if you need someone who cant do anything. Lowes iks the Place. Say Nowes to Lowes

Worst service ever
April 13, 2021

Lowe's is terrible. I wish I could give a negative-star review. First, Lowe's took my $2,000 for a washer and dryer, but then failed to show on the confirmed delivery date and didn't even call to warn me. When I finally got a live human on a Lowe's 800 number - after repeated unanswered calls to the store - I was told, oops, my store hadn't even received the merchandise ordered two weeks earlier and couldn't make delivery for another two weeks. When the washer and dryer did arrive on the new delivery date, I was told, oops, these were European models and couldn't be installed in the US. When I called the store to complain, the Lowe's representative blamed ME for ordering European machines. Which struck me as odd since Lowe's website, which was so happy to take my $2,000, didn't say anything about selling non-US-compliant merchandise from a US store for delivery to a US address to replace (US-compliant) appliances made by the same European manufacturer. The guy didn't even apologize. I'll never do business with them again.

Terrible experience
September 2, 2022

Bought a Frigidaire induction cooktop from Lowes in early August for delivery within a week. After first accepting my credit card during the transaction, they e-mailed me a couple of days later to say that there was an issue with the payment. I had used this credit card both before and after with no issue but had to re-input it and though they now accepted it, it had pushed my delivery out by 3 weeks.

The cooktop finally arrived and I had a third party installer install it only to discover that the unit did not work at all. Lowes came and picked up the defective unit but when I asked about a replacement that model was no longer available so I could by another unit (more expensive) and would have to pay for another install since I hadn't ordered my first install through them. I will get a full refund but I wanted a working cooktop.

End result. Hours on the phone, days, potentially weeks without a working cooktop and I have to pay for another install. Needless to say, I will not be shopping appliances from Lowes ever again.
