My mom informed me about this site. I placed my lost dog on here. The local humane society pciked him up the next day and called me because lostmydoggie sent out the alerts to the local shelters. Thank you so much lostmydoggie.com! Definitely a great site for anyone with a missing animal.
You guys are awesome! I signed up for the 500 phone call package and it was a complete hit! Between those calls and the 300 flyers that we posted, Nelli was found and she is now back home safe and sound where she belongs! Thank you! It also scared the heck out of the creep(s) who had her for 5 days!
Thank God for Lost My Doggie.com! Lost for almost for three days, Haley was found and taken to a local animal hospital which had the flyer produced through your service, and notification from your service to the hospital. We received a call from the couple who found her while she was being checked out at the hospital. Without your wonderful service, they would not have been able to put us back together.
We hoped to find her, but were afraid that our pampered pet may not have survived the low temperatures of the time she was missing. I can not thank you enough for the quick action that you took in notifying the area pet hospitals, and sending us a list of them so that we could fill in the blanks. Also, the tips you have on the site helped us to notify others, like the sub-station police station.
What a service you provide to loving pet owners, who treat our pets like a well-loved family member. I cannot recommend you enough.
Thanks again from our family, including our Haley.
Our indoor cat Scout ran out the door when we had someone feeding our furkids. We posted on LostMyKitty and got the signs and emails sent as well as FB posting. The tips people put out were great and that is actually how our cat got back home to us. He was back in less than a day after posting and us doing ALL the things suggested.
The lost sign the site created was much better than the crude one I tried to construct!
Thank you for helping to get Scout home!
Thanks to this service i found my doggy I was afraid it could be lost forever because its small and hangs out in the back yard. Service found my doggy with in 4 hours. They called me and soon i got my dear back safe ans sound:)
Thank you so much
Our cat managed to travel 100 miles away from our home! lostmykitty.com sent posters with his information to the vets and shelters local to where his collar was found, and a resident of the area recognized him as the stray who was living in front of her house! Thank you lostmykitty.com!
The number one thing I did was canvas the neighborhood but no luck. I came back inside and posted on lostmydoggie.com. There are flyers that come with the package and I posted these everywhere. Early next morning, I received a call from a neighbor that took him in 2 blocks away and then cam back while walking his dogs to see the posted flyers. Acting fast was the best thing I could have done. If I waited to post the flyers, the neighbor may have never been able to trace him back to me. Diesel is home safe and sound and we're getting microchipped and ID tags as well.
Just so you are all clear, I am not being compensated for this review nor am I related in any way. I am just grateful for this resource...
We found a dog on New Years Eve and used the LostDoggie.com website to make a free posting of his picture. He was chipped but the new owner never updated the
Chip information so we were at a loss to contact them. We also put flyers up in
The neighborhood and surrounding area. The owner saw our post on LostDoggie.com and called. The dog was an inside dog that had been let out to potty, and bolted out the gate when the fireworks began. He had wandered over 5 miles before we found him. Thank you LostDoggie.com! If you find a lost pet, you can scan for a chip at Petsmart for free.
As soon as I paid for the top option to help me find my lost pet, I got a (spam) text message saying someone had my dog. I had a sudden burst of hope after countless hours of unsuccessful searching and tears. The person said they needed verification from a code. I sent a picture of the dog and a description. They continued to reply asking for a code. I asked if it was spam snd they said OMG no. Then said I was spam. I asked where they found my dog-what town. Their texts weren't very clear, seemed foreign. Ended up having to block the number as they continued despite many attempts to clarify his looks or location. Praying on people when they are vulnerable and desperate is truly terrible.
It is sad that some people who have nothing better to do write such negative things. I can attest to the fact that this site is NOT a SCAM by any means. The employees are compassionate, and will go out of their way to do everything possible to help find missing pets. I have used this service and will do so again, if need be. I have no hesitation in referring this service to others who may have a lost pet. Read the testamonials on their site and make your own decisions.
On Feb. 4th two of our three dogs took off our a back door that was left open by my 5 yr. Old. My entire family was devastated. We searched for hours with no luck. My sister in law's friend suggested we try lostmydoggie.com, I gave her friend all the info I thought she might need and I continued to search in my car and on foot. About an hour later I received a call on my cell phone that included my name and phone number and a description of my dogs that were missing. That phone call I got went out to 500 people within 1 mile of our home. My cell phone started ringing off the hook with complete strangers telling me they saw our dogs. It took a while but eventually we were able to pinpoint both of them. I could not believe strangers cared enough to take the time to look for my dogs and then call me. Both of my dogs are safe because of lostmydoggie.com and complete strangers. Thank you, Tammy Eblen
My newly adopted dog, Ludvig, slipped out of his collar and took off. I was devastated and spent 10 hours driving around my neighborhood, putting up flyers. It was so comforting to know that I could also put the notice out via Lost My Doggie to increase the number of people who were on the look-out for him. Amazingly, we did get a report from one of the social media sites we put his picture on that a neighbor about 2 miles away thought they spotted him in his backyard. Without that caring neighbor, and the assistance of sites like Lost My Doggie, I would still be wondering what happened to Ludvig! Thank you for the service you provide.
The service this site provides is truly a blessing for animal lovers! I'm not certain if it was a result of the efforts of the flyer from this website, or other media I posted in, but my entire family is just Overjoyed at the return of our pet! She was delivered to our door by a member of the local Humane Society, who also showed much
Compassion for us during these 4 days that we were so worried about her well being.
Thank You to this website for doing exactly as they said they would by getting the word out and creating a perfect flyer to all the local veterinary clinics and the Humane Society! I Definitely recommend this service to anyone who has to experience the sudden loss of their pet.
Thank You!
Thank You!
Thank You!
After 16 days, One Eye is back home with her family. I want to thank everyone who took the time to pray and watch for her. To those who are still looking for their 4 legged babies, I have one thing to suggest, NEVER give up FAITH... Thank you Christy... Kimberly Roberts
This site is amazing! My dog was found within a few hours of posting of him being missing. Even the clinic that scanned him was not helpful as they gave me the wrong names and numbers of the people who found him. If he hadn't been posted to this site, we might have never gotten our baby back.
((I didn't use the dog Amber Alert feature but it's amazing that they offer such a feature!))
About a month after posting that our dog was lost, one of the vet clinics that got the fax from Lostmydoggie said someone had brought in a stray dog that matched our dog's description. Sure enough we were able to get in contact with them and got our dog back. Made the wife real happy to get him back. :)
I am extremely pleased with the lostmydoggie.com experience. Knowing that I had all local shelters, vets, etc on alert to keep an eye out for my cat via email and fax meant that I was able to concentrate on what we could do - print flyers, walk around the neighborhood and talk to everyone we could, try to make noises that reminded him of home - all while I knew we weren't the only ones trying to locate him.
I got my Christmas present early. Wow, I can't believe it. Buddy (my cat) snuck out of my apartment and went into my neighbors apartment (Buddy had never been outside in his life) and hid in her cabinets under the sink. My neighbor came over the next day and said that she thinks my cat is in her apartment. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.
It is with great thankfulness to lostmydoggie.com that we reunited with our Max. Calling our neighbors made ALL the difference! We would be without him, if we didn't use this service. We live in a rural part of Virginia and this made it possible to cover lots of area. We will sing the praises of your service to everyone! Thanks for our dogs return.
I can not thing this website enough, because of their fast acting responses Brody has been found! Thank you so much for the fast help, a lady that picked Brody up by the road saw the missing dog poster you all made and called me this morning! Me and my roommate have had Brody for around 10 years and we were so upset when he got out and ran off. With the help of you guys we were able to have him returned. Thank you sooo much! We can't thank you enough!
Answer: They have free services and priced packages by tier. We paid $150 for their biggest package.
Answer: The pricing tier that you choose determines how many people are contacted: the higher the price, the more people are contacted. When you sign up your missing pet, you enter in the last seen address. I believe the Amber alert starts with that general area and works it's way out.
Answer: They send you email with all the people they contact.
Answer: They posted to vets, nearby businesses and so many lost pet websites. Saved me so much time and it was quick and they created fliers. They also sent me the list to prove it, which I verified some. They also were in touch with me and sent photos when a dog matched my description. I can't say enough about them... they rock!
Answer: Company emailed & called to let me know she was possible located. Gave me the finders info, I called the person who found her and we met up!
Answer: Great because we have less neighbors nearby so the area covered is greater due to starting nearby and spreading out until they contact the number requested. Populated cities will have smaller radius for same number of amber alerts.
Answer: I paid the finder personally using their cash app once my pet was found. I'm sure other payment methods are ok. That's the one we agreed on.
Answer: I don't know the answer if it is part of PETA or not.
