Bought 2 pairs of silver opal earings for Christmas. 21.99. Well 2 weeks later 1 pair turned up no box earing stems gone through envelope and we're very bent. So email after email no second pair pay pal involved sent a 2nd pair again no box earings all bent so now 2 pairs no money back had to get pay pal to deal with it. Living social will not refund. It has now been going on for about 6 weeks there Rubish. Mags
I bought voucher 2nd November Fireworks Special: 19:30 to 23:15 - Group o f 4 adults. I download the voucher and printed straight way. On 2nd we turned up to get on the board and the boat's stuff (very rude) told us that is wrong boat and probably next one will be ours. So we were waiting 0,5h for next boat which wasn't ours as well. So we came back home. On next day I have checked my email box. (I couldn't do this earlier because my laptop broke) and I saw email from livingsocial - my voucher has been cancelled. Reason: The cancellation affects all the tickets sold including the Family Halloween Cruises on all dates, and the Halloween and Fireworks Buffet Cruise on all dates. They gave us money back... but We lost time, money, and temper... NEVER AGAIN.
Just received 15 plants, offer was for another 10.
Plants arrived most dead and looked like they had been eaten by something.
Dont order off this site as no good.

I ordered two fruit fusion drinks bottles from livingsocial approximately 3 weeks ago, one in blue and one green. When they arrived, my immediate thought before even opening them was 'this will be interesting' as they were in completely different packaging, and one was well wrapped whilst the other was open at one end and could easily have fallen out. Upon opening, they had clearly come from different suppliers, as the bottles were both blue (didn't really matter) and were completely different styles - one in the style I ordered, and one very much different and not one that u would have chosen. I rang livingsocial to explain, and request a replacement bottle for the one in the style I did not order... then spent the next few days on corresponding between living social and a supplier. Neither would admit fault, and wanted me to send the wrong bottle back at MY cost... why? Not my fault they sent the wrong bottle. When I complained again, I was once again fobbed off and have not been waiting for a repose for over a week now... clearly it's not going to come! Don't touch them with a barge pole... happy to take ownership of taking your money, but when there's an issue, they are well and truly missing in action!
I have ordered and paid for 3 items which I have not received I have emailed living social twice they told me the company will email me within 48 hours that was a week ago still nothing I have come to the conclusion Iv lost my well earned money I never thought to read the reviews wish I had of I'd never use this site again and I advice others not to use it either.
Bought the jewelry offer three piece necklace, earings and bracelet so called swarovski. My advice don, t bother, complete rubbish, necklace broke before I even put it on.

To summarise - I ordered a pair of size 11 boots for my husband and Size 9.5 were delivered. They were sent to me by Supertrendinuk.com, not only 15 days later than the original delivery date (Ermi lost them) but the boots were size 9.5 - not size 11. When I asked to return them at the original cost, plus postage to me and for me to return them, I was told that I wouldn't get the return postage paid as the goods were not faulty! Irrespective of the fact that the goods were not fit for purpose! I eventually received the cost of the outbound postage, and then the cost of the item, but have yet to receive the £4.55 it cost me to return them to Supertrendinuk. I tried through Resolver to get this money back - but that proved useless. Both Supertrendinuk and Living Social are ignoring my emails now. They have lost me and all my friends as customers now, I will never use them again. Unless of course, someone from Living Social bothers to read this, and gives me back my money. There is no phone number to call them on either.
My son purchased a Second World War flight experience for me from Living Social at a cost of £89.
It was to be taken on Friday 21st October 2016, but when I phoned Blue Eye Aviation on Monday of that week I got the message that there was no one there to take the call. After trying many times to contact the company with the same result, I contacted another company at the air field.
I was told that Blue Eye Aviation had disappeared overnight about ten days before and their whereabouts are unknown.
I contacted Living Social who offered me a credit for the cost, when I refused the credit and asked for a refund they offered an additional £40, I again refused and asks for a refund.
Some days ago they sent me an e-mail informing me that my case had been referred to the finance department. Nothing has been refunded to the PayPal account that was used to pay for the flight.
As a result I am applying to the small claims court to commence proceedings to recover the money.
I would advice strongly that people avoid dealing with Living Social, you seriously risk not getting what you have paid for and losing your money.
I have bought some good deals from Living Social, but also others when I have felt cheated. On Sun. 8 May I bought a deal for a restaurant in the City where I live. It said valid until 12 August. OK, that sounded fine but when I came to print off the voucher and the email, it said valid between 3 and 12 May at the top and the email said VALIDATE NOW in bold letters. As this was a Sunday, I could not get in touch with Living Social. I sent them an email which has still not been replied to. The restaurant could not explain. On Mon. 9 May, I phoned Living Social and asked for an explanation. I was told that although the voucher is valid until 12 August, the booking must be made before 12 May. I then tried phoning the restaurant to make a booking and it was closed. Time is creeping on and I fear that I may lose the right to use the voucher and my money. How sneaky is all this!
Update: I have since managed to contact the restaurant on the evening of 10 May and made a booking for 27 May. They would not take my voucher no. And said that it was okay to just bring it along on 27 May. I have now had a response to my email to Living Social and again they are saying that I must validate the voucher by 12 May, but can use it up until 12 August. What happens if I turn up at the restaurant and they will not honour the voucher?
They are crooks. They have charged me for a more expensive deal than I booked and despite the fact that I have the email confirming my £32 spend with them, they ahve charged me £49 and won; t admit that they are wrong. 16 emails to them... 2 replys telling me I booked the £49 deal. I; ve sent them back their own email but it seems they can't read.
DON' TOUCH THESE CROOKS. I don; t know why they don; t udnerstand how quickly poor customer service spreads - I; ve spend the last hour on sites telling people and have put everyone off using them at work.

I booked a VIP Studio Recording Party for my Daughters 9th Birthday advertised at rrp £100.
When we turned up the recording studio was closed, we waited 15 mins for the man to turn up after 3 phone calls. He smelt of alcohol with glazed eyes and seemed knackered. We even thought he had gone to sleep at one point during the session.
The studio smelt of weed at which the recorder sprayed air freshner around the studio.
There were no lyrics provided for the children and no advance warning of this, Me and my husband were told to download the words on our phones for the children.
Given that it was my daughters birthday the producer never even wished her happy birthday. He said about 10 words in the whole session.
And surprise surprise I never received a disc from the studio of the children singing even after chasing.
On ringing living social, I was not even offered a full refund. I was offered £10 credit on my account, as if I would ever buy anything from them again!
My daughters birthday was ruined by this company and it's something we cannot get back!
Beware when purchasing from this company on special occasions.

I only purchase local deals from Living Social for my area Leeds and Wakefield. However did you know that if you purchase goods and it has to be returned…. They make you return to the manufacturer…. NOT the local dealer! I purchased a £169 item and I was unable to even get into it… so had to return it as unusable by myself… I HAD TO SEND IT BACK TO GERMANY AT A COST OF £58.60 TO MYSELF! I just want my friends to be aware that a local deal is not always local and you can be well out of pocket! DO NOT BUY GOODS FROM THIS COMPANY IF THERE IS EVEN A DOUBT IN YOUR MIND ABOUT IT'S USABILITY! I don't know if the goods worked or not as I couldn't get into them to try so I expected to have to pay a return LOCAL delivery charge but £58.60 to have to return it to Germany is totally unacceptable.
Answer: Not surprised. I have a problem on my hands cos they've taken payment of £60+ but should have been £49 so I knew something was wrong, but they've got my credit card details, so too late. Spoke with. My cc account to stop payment but they can only pay up and then deal with it as if it's a dispute. This company are obviously crooks.

I bought a dashcam off living social/ef mail on the 2nd december to post off to poland to my friend in time for xmas and it has not shown up to my home in london and ef are not replying to emails asking for information.If the truth be told i think it is not uk held stock and is poss being sent from china as all directors are chinese. Last time i bought some razor cartridges they took a month and came from china but was not ef selling them. I think a lot of chinese list on living social knowing they have no chance of matching the 7 working days delivery promise as it is not UK stock and needs to be and from abroad.If you were lucky and paid through paypal open a dispute with them and get a refund or if you used a debit/credit card ask the issuer to help you get your money back. I paid through paypal and have told living social if no camera delivered by mid day tomorrow I'm opening a dispute through paypal and asking for a full refund as i do not want the dashcam if it is not here for posting off to poland and will buy one for cash from maplins and post that off intead.
