Don't bother. Items found more cheaply by shopping around. Postal charges push the price up even further. Delivery is a joke. Avoid.

Unable to stop Living Social from sending emails even after I blocked them. What don't they understand about "unsubscribe"
Like many others I wish I had read reviews before using. 10 weeks after purchase, still no product. Living social would only give me the companies name (D2D Distibutors) and an expensive phone number for them. Living Social don't care that honest, hard working people are losing money to the scams they are promoting. AVOID. DON'T BE SCAMMED AND CONNED LIKE I HAVE BEEN.
Be aware before shopping with living social. They just persuading costumer to buy a deal when you paid the bill then it's show please allow 5days to delivery but unfortunately then the delivery is taking a long even month or mor. In my item isn't arrived since 15th August and still waiting for them. I was bought a Geneva Luxary watch. Just loose my money.

The following is a slightly altered (for clarity only) extract from the last of a long series of e-mails I have exchanged with Living Social re. A pair of flip flops I purchased 29 days ago through this group discount site from Beauty Fit (UK), which never arrived. I think it speaks for itself.
"In order for your fine print to accurately represent the T & C of our contract it should state:
"Please allow 14 days for delivery of the product from the date of redemption of the voucher. If however, your product is not delivered by the merchant within this period despite multiple attempts by you to resolve the problem directly with the merchant, the merchant not being contactable by telephone because it does not not answer it and does not accept voicemail and not replying to e-mails re. Refunds whilst also lying to you twice about the date of delivery and most, importantly, never sending the product, we will send you repeated fob off e-mails in reply to your complaint about the merchant we chose to represent. Then, if you persist in your complaint, we will eventually pay lip service to sorting the problem out with the merchant but then do nothing except send you factually incorrect, self justifying e-mails, explaining that it is not our problem that you are out of pocket owing to the at best shoddy business practices of our merchant. Finally, when we have decided that you are indeed something of a nuisance, we will offer you credit to purchase items on our website, rather than actually offer you a full refund including the additional shipment and delivery costs."

Once they have scammed you there's no way of contacting them, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING They take your money and shut up shop
I am writing from UAE, Dubai. I ordered philips home theatre system to my friends who is living in london. They sent me an order confirmeation e-mail. Ok it seems everything fine. But after order passed 18 days nobody has contacted me and didnt give a news or any info. So i wrote an e-mail to them 2 days ago. I didnt get any answer. After that i called them and i learned that MY ORDER HAS CANCELED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE and PERMISSION. $#*! happens, i was waiting for the shipping news but they are telling me that order has canceled! And if i didnt call them im not going to learn my order is canceled. Ok so after that i tried to log in to my livingsocial account, and then i tried all passwords i used in whole my life but it didnt logged in. So i tried to reset my password and it says ''There was a problem sending your password reset link: invalid email''? THEY ALSO deleted my account without my permission. Haha i will not use this lame company again. They can contact me and send me an order confirmation mail but their excuse is 'we cannot contact with you about the shipping so we canceled your order'. They are the worst deal company i have ever seen. Groupon is much better than this.
I paid $435 US dollars to buy a vacation and they sold me bad vouchers and will not give me a refund. Now they are ignoring my emails.
Answer: Not surprised. I have a problem on my hands cos they've taken payment of £60+ but should have been £49 so I knew something was wrong, but they've got my credit card details, so too late. Spoke with. My cc account to stop payment but they can only pay up and then deal with it as if it's a dispute. This company are obviously crooks.
Answer: HI Iris, I'm in a similar situation to you. I bought a dashcam off living social/ef mail on the 2nd december to post off to poland to my friend in time for xmas and it has not shown up to my home in london and ef are not replying to emails asking for information.If the truth be told i think it is not uk held stock and is poss being sent from china as all directors are chinese. Last time i bought some razor cartridges they took a month and came from china but was not ef selling them. I think a lot of chinese list on living social knowing they have no chance of matching the 7 working days delivery promise as it is not UK stock and needs to be and from abroad.If you were lucky and paid through paypal open a dispute with them and get a refund or if you used a debit/credit card ask the issuer to help you get your money back. I paid through paypal and have told living social if no camera delivered by mid day tomorrow I'm opening a dispute through paypal and asking for a full refund as i do not want the dashcam if it is not here for posting off to poland and will buy one for cash from maplins and post that off intead.
