I typically abstain from auctions as shipping and house % on items occasionally exceeds the value. However, I decided to once again dabble in the excitement. Of course, paid too much once the fees were all calculated, but the customer service was outstanding…at least for one auction house. With the current Covid situation, staff is short for processing invoices, packaging and shipping. I was pleased my item was sent quickly, personally attended to by Julie.
I never had a truly bad experience with LiveAuctioneers. The auction houses are 99.99% great. I've only had maybe 1 issue with a house, other than that, I've gotten so many great items that are in my collection now! Love to bid and win!
This website does not help its customers. It not even possible to find a help contact form or help email address on the site. One simply uses the info email address (after assuming it's the only way to do it when finished searched to no end) to move forward. They appear extremely untrustworthy. I have tried to close my account multiple times and each time I am told the account is closed, but after waiting a week or two, I login to the account, no problem. It still has all of my information on it and works fine. Customer service will reply and tell me it isn't open, it is closed. They are worthless and likely a scam to collect personal information. Beware.
I won a book for 80 USD but had to pay more than 150 USD for postage and packing! Be very careful. They do not operate postage and packaging themselves. They have hired a company that gives extremely overpriced prices.
I bought a number of emeralds from Jasper 52 on Sept.7,2022.Paid for same.Did not receive them.They claimed took 2 months to get stone here.After that time they sd. Would send me back $ but would take 10 days.Still nothing.then found the 2 biggest emeralds lot no.0841 and 0078 were now listed as passed but the same detail shows this was sold to me and auction was no reserve.looked at billing statement and they no longer showed but the total was wrong.They gave me a tracking number which goes to India post RT******* that showed was delivered by USPS.The tracking number per USPS states a label was created,not in system.package never delivered to them. In my opinion this is fraud and theft by Jasper 52 and LiveAuctioneers.

Purchased four items from different auctioneers all turned out to be fakes! Then when reported to Live Auctioneers, they side with the seller because that's where and how they their monies, off the sellers and not from the buyers. Don't waste your time...

After calling liveauctioneers about a dispute concerning a "late" fee on a purchase from a auction. They did absolutely nothing about me being charged 75.00 late fee even though I called the auction house many times following the auction and got no answer nor an answer machine. I believe it is a scam of the auction house. The only thing liveauctioneers said was for me to call the auction house and if I walked away without paying it would be a non-payment on my record. Liveauctioneers customer support is the pits, there is none. I had to pay this $75.00 out of no fault of my own because liveauctioneers would not support the very people who keep them in business.

Have used Liveauctioners for a few years and never had a problem. The app. Is easy to use and the pre warning of lots I am interested in is very useful, don't always follow up but have found a number of items that fit in my collection. So I fully recommend this auction site, and well done to the analysts, designers and coders who created it.

Good site for getting auction notices for topics of interest. Unfortunately each auction sponsor have their own rules so buyer premiums can range from 11% to 27% so be sure you check with each sale to vonfirm what the premium is.
I started to purchase from a couple of their auctioneers. I was always well treated and have been very happy with the companies they represent. A lot of great companies and good buys, but still be aware of the reputation of the actual company you will be dealing with. I truly enjoy using this site. Thanks live auctioneers.

Don't trust or do biz with either canuck auction or liveAuctioneers wouldn't return my call or email so unless you like bad biz and hidden charges there dishonest, late on payments and charge extras and don't mail product till they feel like lie in adds what a joke
This site has items you can't find anywhere else. It's relatively easy to find information for each auction house and details about the items. There could be better filters for searches and finding order information post-auction could be easier, but otherwise it's a great tool.
They take your belongings, and undersell them, and don't honor the reserves you may want to put on certain items. They are incompetent at paperwork, and simply don't keep records or have proof of sale. They don't communicate. Small claims court here we come.
I follow a number of auction companies. There are interesting items all the time.
However, I have trouble scrolling through items in an auction, because I often expand items I don't want to look at. The spacing between items should be enlarged or a scroll bar added on the right.
I enjoyed seeing the variety of materials on sale, but it is to much heavily weighted for jewelry and watch's, neither of which I'm in the market for.
I did participate and purchase several items on the diving equipment auction and I look at the auctions that are selling firearms.
I like using Live Auctions to peruse auctions, ask questions of the auction houses, make preliminary bids and also do live bidding. This gives me access to auctions all over the country and for items I am willing to pay shipping for, it's worth it. Also more convenient and comfortable for local auctions rather than sitting in the auction room itself.
