OK expariance
September 22, 2015

After I placed my first bid on PS2 games, I read a lot of negative reviews and I was really scared that the same would happen to me. After I won auction, I received my shipment very fast. When I opened package, games were as described in the auction. Most games were new and unopened. All were clean and even open ones are in great, like new condition. Only disappointment was that 48 out of 200 games are exactly the same. Other 152 is good mix.

Now about Liquidation.com. I faxed them Re-seller Certificate but they still charged me sales tax. They claim they never received it. I faxed twice but still didn't get credit for the sales tax I paid for. When I called them, customer service rep (the female) gave me not very clear answer what will happen that 10 something dollar sales tax. Later I spoke to gentlemen who was more professional and asked me to fax the document again. I did fax them again but I have not heard form them.

I guess, it depends on seller not on liquidation.com what kind of product you receive. However, Liquidation.com customer service it not so great.

I had ordered from them in the past and had no issues so I felt okay ordering again. This time I ordered 2 pallets equaling too much money! These were salvaged pallets but the description claimed they were great for resellers, and they might have mis matched shoes, some damages, and could be good for parts. So I ordered. These pallets are literal GARBAGE! Over 50% of the shoes were slashed. SLASHED! With a box cutter or scissors. You cant use that for resell, or for parts! When they say mis matched, that to me means that the other match is in the box they just didn't put everything together. Nope they are just completely different sizes (ex: Right side is a 9 and left size is a 5.5). Nothing in the box matches. These were complete lies! I opened claims for both pallets and they were denied because they said they were salvaged and that means they can be garbage and slashed, but no where anywhere does it mention that and the fact that is says great for resellers is an absolute lie in itself. I called to dispute again and the customer service lady cussed me out and hung up on me because I wanted to talk to a manager about the accuracy of their descriptions.

Scammers of buyers
December 31, 2022

I purchased a lot of 4 Sony tv's, with the intention of selling them, I opened, they were sold as returns, which supposedly mean they are in good condition with all accessories in them, I opened one immediately and it was more than perfect, and because of the size of theses items I didn't open the test, I wanted to sell them as new in the box, I had one sold and the buyer wanted to tested and when we got it out of the box, it wa nothing but trash, I opened the rest and all was trash, and when I called liquidation customer service, they say you only get 3 days to report damage, you are screwed and have a nice day.

Wish I had read here first. Bought a lot of 15 packages from a "high end LA boutique". It was junk. Some Walmart brands, some unbranded mass produced Chinese junk, some stuff it looks like someone just had around the house and threw in jiffy bags. Out of 15 items there is one thing I can sell, children's Nikes, which I didn't know high end boutiques dealt in. $230 down the drain and no way to review sellers to warn other bidders. I saw one lot going for over $400 from the same seller and same "high end boutique".

Also it's very clear that the packages were never mailed to anyone. 1) the jiffy envelopes are in pristine shape 2) tho they have attempted to marker thru what's on the labels it's very easy to tell that the returns labels on the envelopes are all liquidation.coms mailing address. So what's apparently really happening is someone at liquidation. Com is going thru piles of junk and repackaging them to send out and lying their face off about the origins. Scrunchies and underwear with absolutely NO branding, one single pair of socks that look Dollar Tree quality, a king size set of sheets that are a Target brand. Please don't risk it and spend your money elsewhere. Something incredibly shady is going on here.

I used this site about 8 years ago. Everything was fine and went perfectly. Lately I've been looking at them and it just appears to me that I just don't think that a lot of their stuff is actually liquidation stuff. I think that manufacturers are just purposely making lots to specifically call it a liquidation but it will never run dry, that is based on certain items selling on there. Some of it is actual liquidation and a person could do well selling items bought on there but you have to get the right price including fees and you have to have the right kind of store. I've just seen some lots that I think were soley created to be liquidations and that my friend is not a liquidation. That merchandise was never in a store or never intended to be in a store. Straight from factory to liquidation.com (just my opinion.) If you see a good bargin on there, search the web for the same thing. I found some sites with the same deals on the same number of items or better (that is some of the stuff I was talking about -since its not a real liquidation, others are selling it too.) I will still look on there but with a careful eye. I myself cant use returned merchandise or pallets of stuff that look all mangled or a pallet of 5 different items but many can.

Don't deal with them, their products does not match the description, don't be fooled with the MSRP and make sure you get your money worth. One more thing, they don't accept return.

Very shady
November 30, 2022

Bought a load of Home Depot online returns. When received, I found many items missing. I looked at the photos of the pallets and there were several items listed on the manifest that would have been large enough to show on the pallets, they were not even in the pictures. I calculated the weights of everything and it was substantially below the actual weight that was shipped. So two things, they knowingly shorted the shipment before it was even listed. They then charged shipping based on the much higher weight. I addressed with them and got a very modest credit for the missing items but nothing on the shipping. The whole buy wound up being a loser because it was missing some of the best items. So a few words of caution before even considering a bid. Look at the manifest vs the pictures, you will see red flags right off the bat if the listing is short. Look at the weight, if the weight seems very off ( allowing 50lbs or so for the pallets as well) walk away. This is clearly either a conscience effort to screw buyers or pure incompetence.

I won the following Transactions: ******* on Feb 6,2017, ******* on Feb 7,2017, and ******* on Feb 8,2017.

Later, on 13 Feb 2017, I scheduled an appointment to pick up the above 3 transactions from their Brampton location. When I went to pick up the items, the staff found items of Transaction No. *******, which I picked up.

The staff member said they could not find the whole Transaction No. *******, and few items are missing in Transaction No. *******. They said they will look around again, if found, will send them by courier, otherwise will ISSUE ME A CREDIT for missing items.

I waited for another 9 days for their response until 22 February 2017, then I sent an email inquiring about the status of missing items, and requested them to hold the items, if found, as I was travelling next day for a month.

When I came back from my travel I found one box of Transaction No *******, with all the items in it. But from the Transaction No. *******, we received only 2 TVs of 32", missing one 48" TV and another 32" TV.

I requested them to find out whether they were able to find the missing TVs of Transaction No. *******, if not, to issue a credit for the missing TVs. I phoned and emailed their customer service several times. At the end they asked me to file a formal dispute. I filed the dispute and still waiting for several months for refund. No response.

Liquidation S. Liquidation.com Rep
over a year old

Hi Mohammad, I am so sorry to hear about your experience with Liquidation.com last year, and I thank you for reaching out with the details you've provided. Upon reviewing the transactions, it became clear to me you were treated unfairly by the claims department. The agent who was in charge of your case did not give you the best service and I do apologize for that, and want you to know that agent is no longer with the company.

I have since been in touch with our claims department to reevaluate your case, and they will be in touch with you shortly to make this right in the form of a partial refund for the missing TVs. This resolution should have been given last year, and we do apologize, but we hope it's not too late to make this right.

I ordered 2 pallets from Liquidation.com (my first), and I have had a number of issues getting my shipment. First, the shipment was a month late, but this is probably because Fedex Freight tried to deliver it somewhere in Baltimore (I'm in Louisiana). I called UPS Freight, and the woman I spoke to was able to help me find out where my pallets were and give me information on it, including the tracking number (which was not provided to me when I ordered my pallets). She also told me that Liquidation.com is notorious for not labeling shipments correctly and that you might get what you ordered, and you might not. Fast forward to when I receive my shipment, and I get one of the 2 pallets I ordered. I asked the UPS guy about it, and he said they only received the one. I did not sign anything but let them leave the one pallet I received in my garage since the guy had to walk it down my street. So, someone at UPS kept helping me try to locate the second pallet, but they never were able to. After 2 weeks, they finally told me to file a dispute so that Liquidation.com can get in touch with UPS to find out what happened. But, they won't do that. Liquidation.com says I signed for the shipment (which I did not), and that basically they weren't going to even try to find out what happened to my missing pallet. They don't care that I spent $1200 (most of which being shipping) to receive half of what I ordered. Do not waste your money. They do not care about you.

I bought several auctions from this company in the same week. 2 were for "mystery packages" that were said to be valued at approx. $3750... NOT EVEN CLOSE! It was all utter garbage with a retail value (if new) of no more that $200 for each box of 25 unmanifested packages. Then another auction was for 150 "High End Designer Ties" from a seller called TheTieShop. The shredded box came with ties hanging out and NOT A SINGLE TIE was from a high end designer. The pictures this seller used are not at all what was in the box and they are still using the same pictures and descriptions to sell complete stained, ripped garbage. Liquidation.com will not accept a dispute on this auction because it was "salvage" which I knew, but it was the false pictures, description and outright lies that I dispute. Had they been honest and said "box of useless garbage ties that you cannot wear or sell" I would have simply scrolled on past it. Lesson learned, but do your homework. Liquidation.com has MANY negative reviews out there including with consumer affairs, yet they still get away with scamming people. Buyer beware.

On both occasions I bought Cosmetic lots - I got burned.
They allow the sellers to put up nice photos of their cosmetics all spread out - sometimes 20+ photos with all the items they will include in the cosmetic lots. And then they create a "estimated Retail Value" for that lot. Well, that might be close IF you actually receive the items represented in the photos. For example, my most recent Lot that I won, said I was to receive a 400 pc Lot which would have a retail of something like $1,200 - the box I got was over 300 pieces of 99cent Jordana lip liners that you can get at Walgreens. I got almost NOTHING else of the other items shown in photos. I opened a case with Liquidation, sent them the photos of everything the seller sent me. Literally - I never even got a reply from Liquidation. It was totally Ignored.
They don't care if the sellers misrepresent the lots they are listing. As long as they get their Listing Fees, they don't care. They are even more useless than ebay and that is saying a lot. PLEASE don't waste your time or money - You just will not be HAPPY with whatever it is you will "Win." And it won't be worth anywhere near what they say, but since its not actually Liquidation stating what the items should be worth, they can just wash their hands of any wrong-doing because they are busy finding Suckers to bid on the next dishonest listing.

Everything started when I purchased 4 cell phones, they never sent them so I called them... They said they were missing 2 of the 4 cell phones... I told them to give me a refund and they took 2 weeks but they did... stupid me, I purchased again $ 2000 worth of tables. After I paid and I received my tracking #, I tracked in the UPS website just to find out that they intercepted the boxes and ups return them back to them... Their claim is that records show they also sent me the phones and I need to pay for them... 2 days later I received the 2 phones and I sent them right back... now they suspended my account even though it was their mistake and they won't refund me my 2 grand... I called customer support and OMG. First of all, the same people have like 3 different names... I spoke to Alex, he told me they won't give me a refund till I open a dispute. I told him that They intercepted the boxes, how is my dispute.? Then he hung up the phone, I called again and Alex answer again, I asked for a manager and he hung up again, I called again and now Alex became Eric... lol... Now I being waiting for Eric to hear from the warehouse to make sure the items are in the same conditions they sent them... Hellooo... I never received them... well its being two weeks and I m still waiting for a refund,,,, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Don't buy from this people. Don't make the same mistake I did..
