SHOULD BE ZERO STARS! I thought maybe I was being too critical but I see by the rest of the reviews that most customers would rather deal with another company. I waited 4 weeks when I first ordered a nebulizer cup replacement. When I called Lincare to see how much longer it would be they had no order on file for me! Two days later I received a nebulizer cup but it was a cheap version. When I called they said they don't carry the better cup that came with the original Pari nebulizer. The cheap version needs to be replaced every two weeks. I have made THREE phone calls to order another nebulizer cup and no replacement cup yet! I think I will return the nebulizer to Lincare (if they are still in business) and order a new one on line. And then going forward I will order my own replacement parts. Also on my last statement they added back some nebulizer co-pay charges that I had already paid months ago. I would call that fraud.
I picked up a CPAP and told them I would need to get another outlet installed to use it. There was a delay in getting the outlet and I was billed for a month I could not use this device.
Apparently they would rather lose a customer than post pone payment on the bill for 1 month.
Horrible customer derive in my opinion
I work for an answering service for Lincare and I hear a LOT of dissatisfied customers. They don't receive calls back, some employees are rude, and to me they don't care about their patients. Lincare would be the last place I would try to use. I wouldn't want my family to be treated like I see their patients treated. No good!
Run! I've been dealing with them for only 3 months and they are terrible. It took me calling my doctors office and telling them I want another company to supply my CPAC after trying to get my machine scheduled for a month. Then they said try this mask, and you can change it within 20 days. After a week, I called them numerous times to change it to a nose mask and gave up due to no response/call back (past the 20 days - couldn't get anyone to actually pick up the phone!). Then the mask /hose broke and I'm on day 5 without using it, calling every day without a call back! On hold for over 20 minutes, then they just hang up on you, or they answer after 20 minutes, take your information and you never hear back. Horrible! If I could have given them zero stars I would have!
Once they get your debit/credit card number it's almost impossible to get them to stop deducting funds. When you call them they refer you different places/people in hopes of wearing you down and letting them keep the Money they deducted from your account wrongfully. I'll never buy another pc of medical equipment from them and if you "MUST" pay cash or check because they'll continue deducting money until you "MAKE" them stop!
They are VERY rude and they think they own you once you sign up with them... they refused to deliver my hospital bed because they claimed I owed them money for a home oxygen concentraitor which was paid off 2 yrs ago... they are rude to their patients! Medicare approved my Hospital bed and I cant get it now.
I have been fighting with this company over everything... they come up with bogus excuse after bogus excuse fought for portable concentrator for two years before I got one and it turns out by the time I got it my decease had progressed to the point where it was useless. Now trying to get high flo oxgen conentrator delivered to home so I can go home and it is not happening... ( I have been in hospital since Aug. 10 today is Sept 5...) driver has to go to 7 places today in the city that boarders min before bringing it to my house... my ride had to be there to recieve it... just another frustration in a long list..
Do not ever do business with these people for CPAP machines and supplies. They will bill you constantly and their bills are very confusing and complicated. They're very difficult to understand what you're being built for they will bill you for a CPAP face mask and they will code it as part of your deductible. Why my insurance (HAP)even allows this is beyond me but they're crooked as $#*! as well...
It took Lincare three months to fill my CPAP order. The mask they sent was different from the one my doctor fitted me for and arrived only after multiple phone calls over many weeks to so-called customer service. So now I will have to continue Lincare torture. But Maybe I will be successful finding the right mask on Craigslist or EBAY and avoid my gem of a supplier that I gladly rate as one star because zero is not an option.
If i request something to be done, nothing happens. I have to keep bugging them until it is accomplished, Recently they gave me a defective portable osygen machinethat ruined a reunion i attended. Now they say they must send this machine to their warehouse for repair and won't give me a backup machine--i have to wait for the defective one to be repaired. Meanwhile, what do i do if oxygen is needed. Avoid this company if you can
My cpap supplies are automatically sent to me except the water chamber... my doctor told me that I can order this whenever i need it changed. I called Lincare supplies dept a month ago that i need a new water chamber which the lady took all my information and even told me that I am being recorded for their record. Before, she told me that I will received within a week or so. After three weeks, I called Lincare and I was told that they took this supplies in my cpap supplies and the lady just told that there is nothing processed. She just told she does not know. So she tried to help me and I was again told that I will received the water chamber a week or so. After two weeks, there is nothing on the mail... I will be calling them again and will find another company other than LINCARE,, THEY SUCK.
This company is a joke I miss homecare new England I never had a problem sent they change it its been nothing but problem 1 month waiting for a return slip trying to order my suplies left messages no one ever return my call not even the supervisor not happy at all going to chance to a different company done with lincare
For 7 months I have been unable to resolve billing errors despite mumerous calls. They never updste insurer info and almost never answer phone calls. The numbers on invoices are also incorrect. Management must be non existant.
Harass you with robo calls to order, then when you do, nothing comes. When questioned, they have no idea why your bipap supplies were not shipped. Manager of Roanoke, VA store is rude, irritable, obviously hates his job and blames the customer. Changed companies instantly after meeting him.
So they have called aleast 20 days out of 30, and when I answer the phone someone ask for me and say will you verify your by your full name and birth date like they're the FBI. My response is you called me you ought to know who you called. Their response I need you to identify yourself to order supplies, my response is why not find out if I even want to order supplies before demanding that I identify myself by birth date that's personal information not to be shared with some random person claiming to be my medical supply company.
1st shipment this year (for 6 mo supply) was missing 5 nasal pillows. Contacted them - received only 1 of 5. Contacted them - received the remaining missing 4 nasal pillows, but Lincare sent P&K Eson 2 (never ordered, ever) vs P&K Bravia (which has been my order for years). Contacted Lincare and was told because I had opened one pillow pkg, never considering they would get this wrong again, that Lincare would not replace that one. Finally I requested that they send post paid paperwork/label - you guessed it — no. Leaving me with the final insult of paying for return shipping for their mistake. Incredulous! After contacting Lincare on 4 separate occasions and still missing 4 correct nasal pillows it's time to switch DME providers.
I have been on the phone with lincare 3 times in 8 days just to get cannulas and a water catcher. Each time ive been toold ill make sure they are sent out today! Nothing yet! But after doing a little research, ive realized just how many of us here have respetory problems! Its a VAST AMOUNT. So my apologies from my heart to mr Steve and Mrs Cindy for all these negative remarks i have read. They are very respectful and kind. I cant imagine how they deal with the case load they carry. God bless all of you that work there. The other two oxygen companies get the same bad reviews. Im sorry yall get so much crap. I need my supplies but i understand yall cant possibly keep up with all who need you. Ill wait my turn even if i have to stay home and clean my canulas until you get to me. I wouldn't waste the time to even give them 1 star! This outfit has been billing out insurance between the two of us over $1000 per month! We got out cpaps back in December of 2019 and were told to pay a fee each month of $130 each and in 1 year out macjines would be ours. Over $12,000 later really? We have contacted the better business bureau and will be filing an official complaint and request an investigation! I am sure we are not the only folks who has been ripped off! We are going after that company for misrepresentation. Unbelievable! Law suit time is around the corner I can guarantee it!
They tell me they wont pick up my tanks with out me singing a paper saying i refuse it! This is a scam, calling insurane company and see if thats any help, they paying for or should i say YOU are paying for this for me, (disable)
I order tube feeding supplies every month. Every single month for almost a year, the order I receive is wrong. Every. Single. Month. I ALWAYS have the person repeat the order and it is correct when said back to me. By the time the order comes usually multiple things are wrong. Sometimes I am shorted items. Sometimes I am sent items I haven't ordered, but I'm sure insurance is billed for their mistake! Once an order came and I had not even placed an order! I talked to a supervisor who said she listened to the phone recordings and heard me place an order! When I realized that even a supervisor will out right lie to me, was a horrible, helpless feeling. I have tried to find a new provider that will offer the special items we need and take our insurance and their reviews are not any better. I will keep trying because Lincare seems to hire mostly morons.
Answer: Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state

Answer: Really? Then ask someone why I tried for over 3 weeks to get a new c-pap mask and hose from the HOME office in Florida and it never showed up! I'm not indigent like some of your customers, I don't accept incompetence. My sleep clinic simply changed me to a new supplier and I am now very, very happy with them.
Answer: DONNA, I REPLACE THE FILTER BY ASKING MY SUPPLIER, THEY USUALLY ARE VERY ACCOMADATING AND GIVE ME ONE. LINCARE, NORCO, AND SUPPLIER WILL REPLACE IT. I ALWAYS CLEAN THE VENTS MYSELF, BUT I LET THE COMPANY REPLACE IT.
