Scam and dirty business company

Do not buy anything from this place as they are dirty business. I bought a pair shoes size 13 for my daughter. It took almost a month to come from China and it didnt fit. I contacted customer service to return. They told me I have to send 3 pictures: a measurement of my daughters foot, a size tag of a shoe, and the SKU number. Picture has to be. Jpg file and 2MB only. Must have all 3 pictures taken. And they dont accept you send pictures through mobile app, Must send via computer. And only accept within 3 days from the day they sent you notification.

What kind of return policy is that? And guess what? The shoes they sent me had no size tag and SKU number!

They didnt clearly tell you about how difficult to return on their website until you purchase. You just stuck with the product. I would never come back to them,

I will never order here again. Ordered 2 fidget spinners back in 2017 and paid 28 USD. The order never arrived. After many emails, I was told to wait more than half a year when purchase protection would become valid. After contacting them again, they claim the order is closed and cannot be opened anymore. Don't trust this company! Don't buy at lightinthebox.

Sorry products

Wish I could send a picture of what was advertised and what I received. Never will I order anything from them again. Whoever gave good remarks were lying on their behave. Pictures are photoshop for deception and they send you something of horrible quality. I'm sorry for those that get caught up in this scam

Scammed?

The dresses looked beautiful until I tried them on. Based on my normal size AND their size chart, they should have easily fit. Unfortunately, I could barely fit in them. They felt similar to any cheap apparel from China you get even though I thought I was buying from the USA... until I looked at the bags they came in, which appeared to have some kind of Asian scribbles written below the English name. I tried to return it. I was told it is a non-returnable item and they included a chart I never saw when I placed the order. Buyer beware. I don't know where the good reviews are coming from.

Beware of no returns
February 12, 2024

Despite following the sizing chart and taking measurements, my dress didn't fit me that I ordered from the bridal section for the mother of the bride. I bought two and neither fit. I didn't following the "order a size up" advice. I measured. No luck. I went to return and was told they were "custom made for me", which I find very hard to believe because custom making to me means someone asks for your measurements and makes an outfit following those measurements. I wasn't asked for my measurements. I just followed the recommended "how to measure yourself to make sure you order the right size according to our chart" directions. They didn't want to return my items. Spent $370 and shipping. Taking them off my order list and spreading the word. Better off finding a sale at a local shop or by a reputable designer online. Fighting this one.

Just another China based retailer tricking women into buying super cheap clothes. The dress I got looks like a blue ruffled Halloween costume, except it's made for small chests, even in the larger converted size. The material is so cheap. Returns are only for a store credit and must be returned to China; therefore this goes into to the Donations bag. Lesson learned.

DON'T BUY!

These people are rip off artists. They take money with on intention of delivering anything. We got off cheap but there are many who didn't. Any positive reviews are posted by someone paid to do so. Lesson learned and paid for. They said for 2 weeks the package was on its way then, I would have to go pick it up and less than 12 hours later a email says the package was shipped back to the company, and we will only get it if we re-pay for the postage, which is twice the cost of the original order.

Clothing measurements are not accurate - purchase 1-2 sizes up from listed clothing measurements. No ability to return more than one item (one ticket per order ridiculousness) at a time and they offer 30% refund instead of returns. "No reviews yet" on items is untrue. They actively make it hard for customers to write a review of items of shady quality. Items printed on shirts look like tourist trap t-shirts in person. I offered the pants to a size 4 relative and not one pair of pants looked good on them.

I am sorry that you've received a large part of your order that couldn't be worn. It appears that you've contacted us last month, and requested to return 1 coat, and 2 shirts. Your request was accepted, but regretfully that we didn't hear you any more. Can you confirm whether you also wish to add the other shirts, and return all the pants? I can attest the return procedure is quite straightforward, there shouldn't be any problems, as long as you have kept the labels and packaging of each item.

We also took note that the measurements didn't correspond with those we indicated on the website. This problem will be considered as very serious, the supplier was urged to check if the measurements of the product correspond with those of the actual products. Don't be worried, your parcel will subjected to our warehouse, their quality checks. If it appear that 1 or more items had this problem, then obviously we will cover your return expenses.

We have sent you an email (ticket #24643046) to help you resolve this problem. Before handling the return we'll be awaiting your confirmation.

Rotten Company

I ordered 3 vests from this company. I measured my husband to make sure the sizing was weight. According to their measurements there should have been plenty of room to spare. After a long weight time they arrived and one zipper was broken and all three were so small they would maybe fit a 14 year old. Not the measurements they display. Tried to contact the company for a return but all you get from customer service is an e-mail telling you to either ship it back to China and pay the shipping cost which is more than I paid for them and wait 2-3 months for a refund or they will give you 2 rewards points or 10 percent of the purchase price back to keep them. Tried to respond to their e-mail but lightinthebox.com is an invalid address so can't get through that way. No customer service number available so stuck with no one to help. What a rip-off company. Just lost $120. Hope they choke on it. My advise to anyone planning to order from them is don't. Look somewhere else. Be smart.

My wife bought several dresses to try for our son's wedding. When none of them fit her properly, we tried to return the dresses (although they have no address listed on their website so we googled) in their original boxes, unaltered, and in the original packing materials. They did not accept the package from UPS. Customer Service told her she must have ordered the wrong size, they were incorrect. Poor customer service and no assistance with returns, I would definitely never order from this company. Really BAD experience.

Always pleased

Any time I order anything from Light in the Box I'm always pleased. Every now and again clothing sizes may vary from a little too small or large, but for the most part, no complaints. Quality and cost is a big plus for me and they check both boxes.

Be extremely careful and do not purchase unless you are absolutely sure of your size in their sizing chart. Light in the Box makes returning anything way too challenging and next to impossible.
I will not be shopping on this site again and I suggest all look elsewhere. Customer service is what makes or breaks a business. This is very clearly BROKEN.

Scammers

Ordered on the 3rd, they claim 4-7 day shipping. 16 days later the item is returned to them because they mangled the address. Support takes 4 days to tell me they'll give me a credit to their website only, minus shipping.

That's not how e-commerce works guys. Credit card dispute filed.

These guys are scammers hoping to wear you down so they can keep your money. Avoid them at all costs.

Ordered the same item for just a bit more at Amazon and had it in 24 hours.

Like everyone else says buyers beware! No customer service... returns are charged 1/2 of the purchase price... can't ever talk to anyone to find a return address... item I bought was suppose to be an 8 inch faucet for sink... my husband measured looked at item display. Measurements... when we received this faucet it looked like it went into a doll house it was so tiny... try to return forget it dead end... my advice buy American

The product looks absolutely nothing like the photo - cheap and nasty construction. And no labels. And when you try to get a refund, there is no return label - they ask you to send it directly to an address in China where postage costs more than the product. They are thieves - and I suspect all of the positive reviews on here have been written by them. Save your money! Do not order with them - ever!

Terrible customer service. When other sites even sites like wish answers questions better than they do. When I first found them I immediately ordered six shirts and loved them. But the return policy and having to pay the shipment myself to send them back for a mistake that they have made in size is ridiculous
Especially when they won't even help you pick out the size when you send them your measurements. I like the stuff that I bought and had great deals but because of customer service I will not be purchasing from them anymore
