I placed an order, after verifying with the support service that it would arrive in time for the 24th.
Eight days after I ordered it finally showed up in their "tracking" site, as "Arrived in Jamaica, NY". According to any tracking facility I can find, including the USPS, it has not even been delivered to them as of yet, and today is the 21st. Still shows arrived in NY.
When I explained to support, again, that I wanted to start a refund, as there's no way it will magically appear in time for a Christmas eve party, I was told to be patient, and wait another week. Uh, what? No, I don't need it after Christmas. I have not heard back from them, and regret not looking them up prior to ordering, as this appears to be a widespread issue. I ordered other items from a similar retailer who utilized the same shipping service as Light in the Box, and their items arrived 2 weeks ago - ordered on the same day. Avoid this place!

Do not order from this site! The quality of the tops I purchased were very poor. Very cheap thin fabric and one of the necklines was totally off center. When I try to request a return/refund they ask me to send them a picture of the issue. How can I send a picture of poor thin cheap fabric? They don't make it easy to get a refund. I paid extra to have the tops here in a few days and it took a week and a half. $80 bucks down the drain!

I ordered from them once. I ordered a sweatshirt and sweatpants that I wanted to put designs on myself as a Christmas present. Placed the order on November 10th. It said 5-7 business days for delivery and it still has not come 5 weeks later. I asked for a refund because I will no longer have time to make it in time for Christmas. They offered me a $10 coupon off my next purchase. I told them that was unacceptable, as I no longer will be able to give it as a gift and I never heard back from them again. With this as my first experience I would say stay far away from this company.

If I could give this site negative stars I would. I bought a $50 dress, checked the sizing and the return policy. Come to find out the material is worse than Halloween costume material, the zipper didn't work, and the sizing was way off. It looked like I belonged in a horror movie. Because I knew I had 7 days to return I immediately looked to file a return ticket. The site didn't clearly show to to do that but eventually finding it I filed a ticket and waited for an email telling me that though the product came from an American warehouse I'd have to pay to ship it back to China. They Acknowledged that the cost would likely be more than the item so I could keep it and get 20% off of another dress or 10% off and keep it. Oh and the return wouldn't be processed until 20-30 day when it was "received" by the Chinese warehouse. Are you kidding me. This site sells garbage from China. If the pandemic taught me anything it was that the country is full of people who deceive and I should have learned that lesson before being out $50. That's messed up. They're conning people every day. I was the unlucky person today…don't be that person!

I purchased 2 large jackets form this co. 1 was correct, the other fit like a Chris Farley jacket - way tooo small. I made attempts to have the item replaced multiple times with the correct size. They are in China so every correspondence is a 24 hours process. They said I needed to prove it was the wrong size so I played their game and sent photos, my measurement 41 regular and pointed out there were two jackets in the order and one was correct and they were both large.
They said it would not be economical for me to pay to return the jacket and then pay to mail the replacement and that it would take 30 days each way. So they offer a 20% store credit or 10% refund. The item is useless to me. I declined the absurd response and insisted they either send the correct item or refund what I paid for it. A week into this huge waste of my time, they said they have policies and that I had not proven it was the wrong size so they would do nothing.
In addition to this blatant scam, beware that they are run out of China which means your order will take about 30 days to arrive. I may have missed this when I ordered, but somehow they charged me $33.63 for shipping and insurance. If your foolish enough to order anything from this company and have any problems you will be strung along until they think they can make you just go away. They will not make any reasonable effort to fix anything and will cite their policy which is to keep all of your money and not provide the product you ordered.
I filed a claim with PayPal today and imagine that will resolve the issue.
Horrible company that has a nice website designed to suck you in. BEWARE and buy from a reputable seller.

This is your sign to never ever use this website. They have a plenty of positive but yet fake reviews that make you feel confident. I ordered dress that was completely off sizing (S felt like L) and I could not return it. They suggested me to return it and pay for unit and the cost of the return would exceed the purchase cost, it makes absolutely no sense. All they offered me was $10 refund when I paid for the dress $100. Absolutely horrible customer service. It feels like scam. You can go to Aliexpress and get dresses that they sell for hundreds of dollars much much cheaper and it would be the same exact dress. Just please do not waste your money. I guarantee you will be disappointed.

It is important noting that sizing problems can be in general avoided, since we indicate each item with the exact measurements on the website Given the relative low value of the dress, my colleague suggested you of keeping the dress with a 30% partial refund, or 40% rewards. I am sorry that you found this unfair. Keep in mind that the return postage would cost around $30, so keeping the dress with a partial refund would make sense from a financial standpoint. The option to return the dress however is still open, in case you should, you have regretted this decision. Also allow me to add that we buy all our products directly from large suppliers, and can sell the clothing at competitive prices like other large retailers such as Aliexpres.

I ordered work trousers and never received them. They asked me weeks later to pay more money for delivery. They made a story that my address was wrong and have made no effort to get in contact. I have made all the effort to get in contact and no one has answered.
Thankfully I am using this as a great opportunity to make money from suing there misleading company. They have caused issues for my work and believe me, I will be reimbursed.
I ask anyone who has also had issues with lightinthebox to get in contact with me and I and my lawyer will help you.
My dad works in law enforcement, and I have seen him sue for much minor than this. So trust me folk, they won't get away with this one! All it takes is to mess with that one wrong person.

These reviews must all be fake or this company would never get above 2 stars. Their size chart isn't even close. They say their clothes' are normal US size and I was stupid enough to believe it. XL fist like a medium. Took 3 weeks to arrive and it's flimsy, cheap material. Now a week from Christmas and I'm scrambling to find something else. I even have to email them for approval to return. I am extremely worried. This was my first time purchasing from this company. It was to be my Christmas gift to myself. My order - 6 items - was just above $200. There does not seem to be a quick return process. I communicated my refund request on the day of receiving the order. I submitted a refund ticket request for each item individually. Each ticket included a picture of the items - still intact. No refund ticket has been issued. I cannot afford to give them $200 dollars for nothing that I can use.
